So I'd like to start out with Skyrim is the first game I've ever modded and I'm awful with computers, however I haven't had any issues with Nexus until I tried downloading the skyrim script extender which whatever I did caused the game to no longer launch. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (through Xbox online/ Microsoft whatever its considered if thats important) and now I just get these messages and the pop-up shown comes back repeatedly and I have to use task manager to shut it down. I understand nothing of whats going on here and if someone can talk me through this as if I was a toddler or something that would be great.

I could be wrong, but I think SKSE is not compatible with the Game Pass version (only STEAM and GOG versions).

From the screenshots you might also be trying to use Anniversary Edition mods without the Anniversary Edition and you may have enabled Microsoft's godawful cloud storage of your files using OneDrive.

So to be clear, you got the game via GamePass and then purchased the Anniversary DLCs on top of that?

 

If so this might be a known problem with how (stupidly) Game Pass handles DLCs.
