Pellape
If you like me like Wrye Bash, here is the latest beta version. https://discord.com/channels/537706885965676554/537710516890501140 My thoughts about Wrye Bash modinstaller and conflictsolver: It cannot install every mod nor create the Wrye Patch, not yet but one day it will for sure, but so far a majority of the mods I DLed works perfect to install with Wry Bash. The Bash Team works hard with it with all information available to them to make this become the best mod manager available and it is not only good, it is also the original one if I recall right. I do think Wrye was first, beside Bethesda them self of course and I install the first version 2004 myself and used it ever since. I guess he made it as Bethesdas inbuilt mod handler did lack some functionality to allow mods to cooperate better, to decrease the conflicts between mods and Morrowind was a mess, filled with confilcts, specially between mods. We do not need to debate why it was a mess as that is history now anyway. I can answer it if you wanna know though... So what mods does not work with Wrye Bash at the moment? It is mods that Install stuff outside the data folder like SFSE itself, that wants to be located in the same folder as the game it self. smr1957
From BGS Discord server. "Next week, on January 17, we’ll be putting our biggest Starfield update yet into Steam Beta with over 100 fixes and improvements, with a planned release date for all players two weeks later. Here’s some of what you can expect! This update contains a multitude of fixes to Quests. Eye of the Storm issues such as being unable to dock with the Legacy or data transfer not starting, and Temples not showing up in 'Into the Unknown', will no longer prevent Constellation from exploring the cosmos. Additionally, this update brings stability improvements and numerous graphic improvements ranging from additional widescreen support to improved textures, lighting, and shadows. See the character creation before and after shots attached below. Other fixes and improvements include sun disk geometry, planet ring shadows, bulldozed objects reappearing when returning to an Outpost, ship hatches marked inaccessible, and another fix for asteroids following ships. The full update notes will be posted next week when the Steam Beta is released!" As posted originally by Ilja, here.

smr1957
Good day, all! Tomorrow, January 17, Bethesda will be releasing their latest Beta update, for Steam only. This is, for now, a completely optional update and one must opt in to receive it. To opt in, right click on Starfield in your game library, select properties from the drop down menu, click Betas on the left hand side of the box that appears, and then, for Beta Participation, in the small selection box on the right, click on that and select "beta - Beta." Then close. Remember, however, that if you are using plugin mods or SFSE, they will not work with the the Beta update. Beta participation is completely voluntary, however, so do not feel that you must participate if you do not wish to. Good luck!
