I Noticed that nothing I tried worked since the update things like alternate start doesn't work despite updating all mods that had been updated  and removing sse engine fixes I'm using vortex mod manager. I noticed that all my plug ins had been unchecked so all these have been checked vortex is up to date and still no luck the only way I got anything to work in my load order  and to test if the new updated mods work was is to go into my mod list on the creations menu and enable my mods via Bethesda and now all my mods work but as they're from Nexus I do not get the official Creations descriptions and photos (understandable) But I have noticed  I get a dollar symbol in front of certain things while using valdicil's sorting I also notice while in game the mod configuration menu has a dollar sign at the beginning of its title any ideas anyone

and does anyone know how to get my vortex mods to be recognized  instead of having  them overruled in the Bethedsa creations mod manager

yep I know but vortex wasn't working so I wanted to see if anything worked to make sure skse was working. This was the only workaround to investigate. After I checked it out I completely reinstalled everything and only used vortex. I never use Bethedsa mod manager but as of now. Vortex for me is still not working you can start up the game with skse but as hinted the creations seems to be interfering with vortex and will deactivate all mods run by vortex

Giantjay - There's a Option choice at the bottom of the Creations menu (on that first screen you see). Frankly, I don't see how any of those option choices will help. It does seem to be overriding the mod manager (in my case Mod Organizer 2 - I'm on Linux) and it's developing amnesia. I've saved and quit then reloaded the save to have it say that some mods are missing - it's then kindly downloaded them from Creations. Could be a bug.

Personally, I wouldn't fiddle with Vortex until it's clear what's happening with Creations...  unless of course you like fiddling with things (I do) then fiddle away... 🙂

Any update to this problem? I started experiencing the exact same issue two days ago and can’t seem to get vortex to just run the mods like it always has. I’m forced to go into creations and enable my plug ins which almost always causes a crash to desktop and when it doesn’t none of my mods load anyway.
