If you are interested in archeology Peru and Turkey is a good start.

Wow! Roth! You always like to pack for someone else. Are you a man servant in real life?

No i just find some of the archeology there to be fascinating, there is ruins so precise that boggles the mind, and date back a good twelve thousand years. Stuff even today cant replicate.

If you dig deep into the subject or just browse youtube, stuff like that just pop up.

I believe that if I had a partner to go on an expedition I would pick up my Mobile phone with 8 Megapixel image photo and video to get out and seek the link to a very interesting find. For instance: Take a close look at the lower end of my avatar there. That is a piece of hand carved material concealing a very useful item. Tell me if you can see it. It's kind of old and has some yellowing which has made the white ivory dingy.

For evidence sake it would be wise to take a real high res camera with you on a journey of a lifetime, go pro or something a little more advanced, i think its because go pro is only 720P. Its one of the best for mobility wise and its water proof, and can be dropped from orbit, and survive..

You can get one at bestbuy.

I'd like to see what you're pointing at. I've dug deep into the Internet views. I returned and displayed some of my finds. While I was out in the realm of people I found an item which is hand carved. Look at the lower end of my Avatar. There's an item someone handcarved. I posted it's image trying to find the creator. So far it's a mystery. Except that, one day I was looking real close at it and cleaned off just enough grunge so I discovered it is something other than a snake wrapped around the outer layer.

I am serious about getting out of the house and walking to a location to see if the ground will expose an entrance to a tunnel system described in a French document that was in a box full of stuff that was piled up in a room which was a museum for a time where Nikola Tesla was living in Colorado Springs, CO. They closed the museum there and moved all their stuff, after I bought what I thought was some old advertising pages in a binder. I've sent the binder to a place to have its pictures authenticated. I would like to meet one person with enough gumption to get out of their computer room and go peek into a place that may have wildlife, may have jungle diseases, may have guerrila factions training nearby that would be a threat, may have devious characters who would rob us as soon as we let down our guard, and may have a treasure so incredible we'd have to find a train to load it up on all the cars. Or it might be the link to an ancient underground city where people still live and work that the locals just don't let anyone go shopping there.

Bolivia is another good start if you are interested in delving into unknown. The thing is, even i question some of the theory's revolving around sites like these, but they just stand out.

this is the first case, but there is stuff like this pop marked through out the world.

i was looking at the prices for go pro, bingo for 120$ its yours.

1080P to, heck that's the best price i ever seen for such a camera

i was looking at the prices for go pro, amazingly they only go for 300$, some of the high end stuff could go for 1000$ or more, its quite reasonable.

Having your experience with advertising do you think you could convince a guy with real evidence, maps, and a tenacious desire for getting the artifact like Indiana Jones to go on a wild goose chase? I'm looking for the real Archaeologist. I'm not interested in the girly giggles coming from the Historical Society or the Preservation Societies call in center.

Just thought I'd let you know. I'm waiting to make a better movie than the haunted hospital one where the guys buys a bunch of GoPro with his girlfriends and boyfriends money. She becomes possessed and they all get killed. After leaving they left what they thought were a bunch of broken GoPro camera's all over the site. They must have dumped at least five of them. They only needed to be properly rebooted.

Ehm... I was referring to LV's specific case. He's going to the UK to study, so he'll most likely stay there for at least a year, which means having to apply for a visa, which would then likely mean having to get a UK drivers license if he wants to drive a car there.

No need for a visa since I'm a EU national.

But still I think that I'd need to do at least SOME kind of testing if I want to drive in the UK, since they drive on the wrong side of the road and I'd have to learn how to do that.

And also

No way lol, I always saw that as Lv000 too

I knew it's an I, cause it very likely represents his real name (Ivo/Ivan). But if I was from another country, I probably wouldn't know if it's Lv000 or Iv000 either.

I saw people making that mistake, but I didn't want to sound like a pompous jerk and correct them. One way it should have been obvious though, is that I never, ever write the beginning of something with a lower case letter.

Never.

We had a thread about how we created our usernames somewhere here in the lounge. Werne is right, my name is basically my real name (Ivan), and my friends called me Ivo. So I just literally took Ivo and put 0's in it, because that was cool in 2007. If I could change my nickname I would, I made a new alias a while ago already.

Am I the only one who makes their alias their main email address? I also have a formal email address, so I don't embarrass myself when I give out my email to someone.

Anyway, in conclusion: Arial is a bad web font.

I saw someone driving down the wrong side of the road today. I nearly collided with him, and he was so thick-skulled that I had to move out of the way. I don't even think he realised that he was on the wrong side of the road! Most likely a tourist - no idea that here in Australia, we drive on the left side of the road.

Bloody fool.

Hey, if anyone here still plays Skyrim regularly, might I suggest that you check out this mod?

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47989/?

It recreates all the cities that were supposed to be in Skyrim (you can see them on the TES: Arena map) but somehow disappeared during Skyrim's development.

I've only visited one so far, but it is really great quality and lore-friendly. I consider this mod a hidden gem, and it is outrageous that it doesn't have more endorsements.
