DrabRab
Are players just waiting for the GECK or DLCs to come out, will more content keep people interested, or are players simply done with the game and have already moved on?
Kazuya482
I'm (impatiently) waiting for the GECK and DLC. That's when this games full potential will begin to unravel. Edited January 13, 2016 by Kazuya482
jcdenton2012
Yep... waiting on the GECK as well. Kinda getting annoyed from it as well.
Boombro
Fo4 life span seems way shorter than the other games. It would needs a lot of quests mods to fuel it to shape.
SergeantGrrock
Heck, I've just been hoping for a decent patch. Anyone know if that will that happen? I am still enjoying (mostly) a first play thru but hope the GECK/Mods will help make a decent game great and long lasting.
CyrusAmell
I just want my settlements to stop going up in flames without warning, then I can just relax and play. And I would like new things from the DLC such as more guns, power armor paint jobs, additional settlement upgrades and of course new expansions. And by expansions, I really mean going to Canada and fighting mutant moose with an energy weapon powered by radioactive maple syrup whilst trying to stop a war between the Enclave and Canadian Mounties. Though I think I would be alright if my settlements were safe. Edited January 13, 2016 by CyrusAmell
mwhenry16
The expectations are high, and the attention level is millennial. Two months, that is a blip. We are not even at the King holiday and folks are gnashing teeth over GECK.Seriously, for $60, I got a bargain. It will play long after twitter, or whatever censored version remains, dies. DLC? More factions, entire cities.
robhartman9
This is the forum on the #1 mod site for the game. Every issue raised in this thread there is already a mod for. PlayStation and Xbox still have issues but the steam client beta for PC fixed all the main quest stuff right away. When I first had trouble with a vertibird ride not working I was already getting the message from steam to download the beta. Anything else I didn't like there was a mod for already as well. I have 600 hours in the game and I have figured out how to tweek it to suit me. My 3rd character is a badass outlaw operating out of the atom cats garage as his home faction. He looks like an enclave heavy gunner and has his sights set on the institute and the brotherhood of steel working as an agent of the railroad. The minutemen are still holed up in concord presumably still pinned down by that deathclaw. I might go rescue them after I have all the important stuff taken care of. Diamond city has nothing on the garage, security is much better and the girls all have short dresses. We even have a robot wandering around handing out free beer
Warmaker01
Expectations are high. I love FO4 but I can see some glaring flaws, bugs that really need to be hashed out. The FO4 GECK is going to be a huge deal. Personally, I'm already impressed by what guys have done without it for FO4. But with the FO4 GECK, the top is going to come off. However, it's going to take some time for the "Big Mods" to hit. I'd expect smaller scale stuff to hit us first with the GECK, especially by guys that already have a grasp on what they want to do with their mod and are held back just by not having the GECK. There's also the aspect of DLCs, which we haven't received yet and I expect to hit us soon.

Looking at what can be done with FO4Edit already, and by now having learned that a huge portion of information necessary to make it even better/complete will most likely only be revealed/learned with the release of the official CK, its going to be amazing . I think the tools to make almost anyhting happen are mostly there, its mostly information about structure/meaning of stuff thats missing . But I know noting really, just my 2 cents.
