eledin
So, i already posted on the old feedback page, but the reason of the lag when scrolling up and down the page is that they seem to be applying shadows on every element of the page. On their ec9cb5e284c86ffe.css, there is this section: *, :after, :before { --tw-border-spacing-x:0; --tw-border-spacing-y:0; --tw-translate-x:0; --tw-translate-y:0; --tw-rotate:0; --tw-skew-x:0; --tw-skew-y:0; --tw-scale-x:1; --tw-scale-y:1; --tw-pan-x: ; --tw-pan-y: ; --tw-pinch-zoom: ; --tw-scroll-snap-strictness:proximity; --tw-gradient-from-position: ; --tw-gradient-via-position: ; --tw-gradient-to-position: ; --tw-ordinal: ; --tw-slashed-zero: ; --tw-numeric-figure: ; --tw-numeric-spacing: ; --tw-numeric-fraction: ; --tw-ring-inset: ; --tw-ring-offset-width:0px; --tw-ring-offset-color:#fff; --tw-ring-color:rgba(59,130,246,.5); --tw-ring-offset-shadow:0 0 #0000; --tw-ring-shadow:0 0 #0000; --tw-shadow:0 0 #0000; --tw-shadow-colored:0 0 #0000; --tw-blur: ; --tw-brightness: ; --tw-contrast: ; --tw-grayscale: ; --tw-hue-rotate: ; --tw-invert: ; --tw-saturate: ; --tw-sepia: ; --tw-drop-shadow: ; --tw-backdrop-blur: ; --tw-backdrop-brightness: ; --tw-backdrop-contrast: ; --tw-backdrop-grayscale: ; --tw-backdrop-hue-rotate: ; --tw-backdrop-invert: ; --tw-backdrop-opacity: ; --tw-backdrop-saturate: ; --tw-backdrop-sepia: } If you remove that whole section or even just the lines that apply shadows, you will get a huge performance boost. 3 1 2
LaGgY42o
Old site I could go to All Mods (any game), scroll to bottom and click on a mod, it would load the mod page like normal. Then when hitting back it would return to the All Mods page, exactly where I left it, scrolled all the way down to the mod I just looked at. With the new site however if you do the same thing, all the way down, click a mod, go back, it returns you to the TOP of the All Mods page, requiring you to either open each mod you want to view in a new page / tab as to not loose your place in the list, or scroll until you find the mod you left off at. Haven't seen any other things yet that I dislike, and maybe I have some kinda OCD thing for it but this is extremely annoying and a huge downgrade imo. EDIT: Seems to be related to the amount of mods displayed per page. At 20 mods it returns to the correct location, anything above 20 and it only returns to #20. Example: Page 1; click on mod 15, go back, returns to mod 15. click on mod 80, go back, returns to mod 20.

It was a Firefox thing, iirc. I might have had uBlock Origin installed at the time but maybe not. According to random internet strangers, uBlock Origin blocks some fingerprinting but tries not to block fingerprinting that breaks the site. Maybe this particular break was fixed since last year, maybe not. But between changing browsers or enabling/disabling uBlock, I haven't even been able to recreate whatever issue I was having back then (the cropping of my profile pic being blocked by something blocking fingerprinting). Maybe I was posting while in a bad mood or something silly. In which case I am sorry for acting slightly belligerent. I still don't love the fingerprinting because I don't understand why it MUST be used for cropping profile pics and not any other options. But it is what it is.
