So things are better in 1.2.6. But one thing is still happening. When I enable a mod, in the older version a reminder would show to deploy. In 1.2.6, when I enable, I am not getting that reminder. I think that reminder should still show. Thanks.

Is it possible that "Deploy Mods when Enabled" is enabled in SETTINGS--->INTERFACE?

No. I deliberately turned that off for better control.

edit: I check double checked to make sure. Definitely turned off.

I get it. While I do consider myself knowledgeable, this happened to me. I enabled a rather large mod. While it was processing, I got up to grab a drink (coffee). When I came back, I closed Vortex and started SSE, completely forgetting to deploy. Normally the little blue box would there nagging me. Started the game and when it didn't work correctly, I spent a great deal of time trouble shooting with no success. Very aggravating. Of course, I did wind up adding another mod and did deploy at that point and all was well. But I think someone new to Vortex would find this very frustrating and then come here to either get help or complain (or both). I do think an option to turn off the notifications is a good idea. But the default should be the "always on" version. The badge notification never even thought to check there. It's not highly visible.

We get constant reports about people being annoyed by notifications so now they disappear after a few seconds but you still get the badge on the notification bell and you can click it to see notifications you may have missed.

I totally get your point, but honestly, leave them as they were and give people an option to only have them appear on the bell - this is really counter-intuitive.

I've recently learned to really like the "Automatically deploy" when installing a mod, the control is from when I decide to install the mod in the first place.

One click, and everything done, no more "Install....wait.....DEPLOY

I installed 54 mods unattended by using CTRL+A install.
Didn't even have to come back to hit DEPLOY for every single one.
