NewYears1978
Am I missing something here? Coming from NMM and MO I could always just drop and drop my load order. In Vortex I can only use sort and then create manual rules. Is it not possible to completely control the entire load order by drag and drop? Thanks in advance. New to Vortex. Nope, it's not needed thanks to LOOT being built into Vortex. The only thing you need to worry about now, is getting your MODS, and not PLUGINS, sorted, (meaning BSA, Textures and Meshes), the ESP sorting is done for you The only time you should be manually sorting, is if Vortex tells you there's a conflict. Zanderat
You can drag and drop. But I kinda agree with HTR. Manual rules should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
Pickysaurus
This comes up from time to time so we've written up a couple of help pages to explain how load ordering works in Vortex. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/The_Vortex_approach_to_load_order_sortinghttps://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Managing_your_Load_Order
