ItsSodiumChloride
Hi all! Probably a stupid question, but I'm fairly new to vortex. I imagine it has something to do with making saves that rely on mods work, but I'm not sure and I couldn't find conclusive results from searching. Thanks! HadToRegister
"Restore Save Game Plugins"....Restores the Save Game PluginsWhatever plugins/Mods you had installed when that save game was saved, will be restored, I "think" you might need Premium to use this feature however, not sure. ItsSodiumChloride
Ah, I should have figured that lol. Thanks for the answer!
Pickysaurus
It literally enables/disabled the plugins based on the list from the saved game. HTR was unfortunately not correct. There's no way to know which mods your save had from the plugin names alone.

WryeBash keeps track of the Mods used in the save. That was what I was equating it to.If WryeBash can do it, then certainly Vortex is capable of it

OBMM maintains an "active OMOD list" which is saved in an ".oaml" file.
Zanderat
I kind of agree. Vortex should be able to equate your installed/enabled mods (not just plugins) to a particular save.

HadToRegister
Vortex has ALL of the MetaData it needs to download the mods that are missing from a save.It has the Mod URL, ID Number etc...May as well put it a better use than just using it to display mod info in the MOD Tab. Pickysaurus
You were talking about it as if it would find the mods even if they weren't installed on your PC anymore. I'm not sure if it enables/disables whole mods. Remember, deployment isn't as primitive as OBMM or Wyre so it may work differently.
