  1. I'm left to assume you've modded your game, in which case it'd be beneficial to the community as a whole if we could see a list of your mods and their load order.
  2. Not supposed to bump man. If this wasn't getting replies it probably wasn't a popular idea. Plus, simple concepts don't always make for simple work. I doubt it's as simple as snapping your fingers and making them bigger.
  3. If you ask me it'd ruin the immersion of the game completely. Plus, to actually have one to scale would suck. There are very few areas in Oblivion with enough open space to support driving one of those around. By all means, though, if someone wants to do this go right ahead. I just don't think it'd work.
  4. Yeah, really. OP has a better grasp of English than some Americans I've met, lol. This would be interesting though, but I'm not sure that it's possible. If it is possible I don't think it'd be easy to do. Then again, I couldn't mod my way out of a paper bag so what do I know? Lol.
  5. Eh, if I'm using a bow and arrow I'm typically sneaking around, and aim for the head anyhow. :D Nothing like going to check to body for loot with an arrow stuck up one of their nostrils. This sounds like a good idea though, but I'm not sure how it'd play. Realistic doesn't always equate with fun.
  6. As bben said, try actually removing the mods entirely from the game. Deactivating them doesn't mean the game stops trying to read them, and having to many will make your game asplode.
  7. Unless your infamy is too high. ;p I made that mistake when I was doing the Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood ones. Realized a bit too late that my prayers were going to get rejected. Of course there's always the Sithis shrine in the Vile Lair add-on, for which infamy is required and fame causes rejection. At that point though you've got the pool in there to cure Vampirism, so it wouldn't even hurt to just let yourself change.
  8. Since it's a mod I don't think you'd be able to. Perhaps I'm mistaken though. I've never tried it.
  9. It's fairly simple to assemble a comic strip in Photoshop, imo. The issue with me is that I lack the patience to painstaking set up a decent screenshot with multiple characters, only one of which I have total control over. Aside from that I'm not the world's best writer, so even if I threw something short together I doubt I'd be able to roll with it and make it something worth reading. EDIT: Didn't see this in there, but for screenshots you need to use console commands: tfc = Toggle Flying Camera; let's you detach the camera from your character and go wherever. Must have your view changed to third person or you'll only see part of your character, such as the torso or other body parts. tm = Toggle Menus; removes the HUD, etc. so there's nothing but the image on the screen, much like a movie. This is nice for fullscreen shots or if you don't want to have to crop things out. Other than that you can find a full list of console commands here. It lists things such as fw (Force Weather) and other nice things that seem simple but can greatly impact the mood of the shot, or simply alter lighting a bit.
  10. The issue is that not all parents have the time to watch their children that closely. I grew up with a single working mother. She was hardly around ever because she had to work herself ragged to support the family, and once I had started working to help out it could be weeks at a time before I'd see her. Hell, we even lived in the same house. Also, the blocking software doesn't often work that well. My friend's nephew had it put on his computer and at just 10 years old he's already figured out how to get past it (his parents apparently don't want him on YouTube). Aside from that, it is the government's job to enforce laws. Censoring certain things like pornography are well within their jurisdiction. Where I live, it's illegal to view such material under the age of 18. With child pornography, it's illegal at any age. Therefore, I have no problem that the government censors those sort of things. I also fail to see the issue with censorship of television and radio. I wouldn't want a child of mine watching Resident Evil when they were only six years old, or to be exposed to some of the more vulgar themes of music on the radio nowadays. In my eyes, there's no reason why government shouldn't be allowed to prevent a radio station from just blurting out "F#%^" whenever they so please.
  11. I say it falls on the children, or more accurately the player in general. They are the ones consciously making the decision to play these games, and therefore the responsibility falls on them to make sure they can handle it. Especially with games nowadays, the line between fantasy and reality can become very blurred. If you don't trust yourself enough to be able to separate the two then it's probably best to avoid it or limit time spent around it. The biggest issue, in my opinion, is that people lose sight of the fact that these games are not real.
  12. Gods, naturally. I will be naming my first-born Odin, and the second Thor. No little snot-faced kindergarten kid will mess with someone named Odin or Thor, lol.
  13. I don't give to charities, ever. Crap happens and honestly I need to look out for myself nowadays. I don't have time/money to give to some organization for dying kittens, and I'd rather not have to start relying on the charity of others just to get by.
  14. I'm all for "guns". Regulation doesn't need to get any stricter. There's already limits on who can purchase them. You've got to be a certain age in the States and get a permit. Limiting what firearms a person can own seems a little pointless to me. Believe it or not there are private collectors. Not everyone that buys automatic weaponry is out shooting up neighborhoods. Hell, more often than not if a firearm is used to commit a crime it was obtained illegally. Still, honest people ought to be punished so that the government can maintain the illusion that they're doing something good for people. In the end it's just a bunch of jumping through hoops. Of course, I do agree that convicted criminals shouldn't be allowed to purchase firearms, and the reason is pretty obvious.
  15. Censorship isn't all bad, if it's used for proper reasons. If things that don't cause someone harm get censored it's often not "good" in my books. However, there should be certain limits on things like child pornography and what can be shown on television/played on a radio station. With the latter two, remember, that children often have easy access to both. Lotsa people don't want their young'uns running around using profanities. Overall though people ought to be given a choice, so long as that choice doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights. Also, about the "lady parts" bit (no pun intended), it's incredibly difficult to determine morality. What may seem immoral to one person could be perfectly fine to another.
  16. Eh I don't think people around these parts know what Christmas is. I'll be working tonight, have tomorrow off, then be right back to it come Sunday. Merry Christmas to you all though. Enjoy it for me. :D
  17. So basically this thread wrapped all the way back around to the driver updates plan that I had initially mentioned. Interesting stuff.
  18. It's the same on PC. You can't sell more than their max gold but the gold amount never changes, meaning that if you sell to them it doesn't go down and if you buy from them it doesn't go up.
  19. Lol the ogre heard about the breakfast. The breakfast being you, of course. :P
  20. Wish I had some. Not that I'm a fan of having to dig myself out of the snow, but if it's going to be this dang cold I'd at least like a pleasant blanket of snow covering the landscape. Otherwise it just sucks that much more.
  21. So close. Wait, back on top again. Almost effortless.
  22. I win. Quickly, someone lock this thread to perpetuate my victory.
  23. Hmm, so I voted "Other" for the hell of it and am astonished to see there's more "Other" than female gamers. Either there's a handful of Martians around these parts, or some people can't figure it out just yet. ;p
  24. Woah, brutal. You're probably right though. If it didn't alert you to it then there's probably something where the AI doesn't recognize that it's okay to start sparring, or whatever trigger there is that makes him available.
