  1. I'm afraid this is most likely a timeout. The forum has been struggling for years with all the content that it contains. Anything that is a long running query which may lock up the database has a fairly strict limit on it so that it doesn't impact other users. We are hoping to migrate the forums to a new server some time in 2022 and part of that will involve a full re-index which may fix the search.
  2. Keep an eye on the site news for an update on Collections soon!
  3. Vortex does reshuffle the INI on deployment but it won't actually lose your value changes, it just re-orders them. why would it reshuffle them if its not changing values? afaik the placement of the parameters and their values in the .ini is not going to impact the game. is my understanding incorrect? Tannin may be able to confirm but I believe it always parses the INI, checks the values it needs for saves etc and then writes it back to disk. The library the does that is opinionated about the order of the values.

  5. If you're able to get 15MB/s on your mobile when connected to the same network then it sounds like a PC problem. If your PC is wired directly into the router maybe the cable needs replacing? Or as HeyYou said, there could be some kind of software getting in the way.
  6. This option is not available on the forum anymore AFAIK. Anyone who has it disabled will have done so a long time ago and the setting stuck as we updated the site/login system.

  9. It looks like there may be some kind of routing problem that is beyond our control. I have seen issues from the Philippines before so it may be an ISP issue or simply the way traffic is routed between our servers and your PC results in a slow speed. You were trying to download a peak time though, so is it any better at a different time of day?
  10. The problem switching out games is a known issue (but we have no idea what causes it and cannot replicate it). It usually corrects itself after a few hours.
  11. Can you please try again? This should now be resolved.
  12. I mean, the tracking centre is a free feature available to all users, so I'm not sure how that has any impact on Premium for you. As Dark said, we definitely want to improve it at some point in future.

  14. yet poses deserves its own category? If the number of mods that picked the horizon patches category in the drop down is right it has the same number as Sim settlements and that gets a category. but w/e a tag is at least better than nothing I would imagine that category is from a similar conversation to this one with a moderator. I actually have been hoping to do a mass cleanup of categories for the Bethesda games but with everything else that is going on here it's not something I have the time for.
  15. We rely mostly on authors to do that on games the size of Fallout. Unlike tags - which can be community voted - categories can only be set by the author or a moderator.
  16. I've just had a quick look and Fallout 4 has 18 pages of suggested categories, a majority of them being pretty useless (either misspellings of existing categories or people confusing that field for one of the other ones on the page). I'm not really sure Horizon needs it's own categories, but perhaps a tag might be sensible?
  17. New categories are approved by moderators periodically. However, if there's already an existing category that covers the use case, it's unlikely to be approved.
  18. Ultima0Ninja banned. Reason: Redistributing vanilla game files without permission - specifically the BSA and ESL/ESM files which came free with the latest update to Skyrim Special Edition. Creating a misleading/trolling mod page to try and disguise you upload as a "complete overhaul". As this is a repeat of the behaviour you were warned about on 1 Dec 2021 you are not longer welcome in this community. 19. There are no payments on your account. Please send a copy of the invoice to [email protected] and we'll look into it.
  20. You can see a list of compatibility for SKSE plugins on the wiki page here: https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins Personally, I don't think it needs a tag "AE" is just another update to Skyrim SE. A bigger update yes, but hopefully things will catch up to the latest version over the next few weeks/months.
  21. Try disabling the extension called "Gamebyro Plugin Management" in the extensions tab, restart Vortex and see if you can switch profile then. If it works something in your setup is interfering with Vortex's ability to read and manage plugins. (You should enable the extension again after testing or you'll have no load order controls)
  22. As you're Premium, setting the downloads to use the CDN should fix this problem, based on your results. The site appearing slow may just be network congestion through your ISP or local infrastructure
  23. I'm also in favour of a status page, but it's a bit more challenging to create than it sounds. If our entire infrastructure is saturated then it's possible ant status page would also go down. I'm not saying it can't be done but we need to do it in a way where it would provide useful info most of the time.
  24. oi44120zxz banned. Reason: Appears to be a spam account specifically designed to submit nonsensical reports on the Content Patcher mod for Stardew Valley. As evidenced by creating the report shortly after registering, without ever downloading a mod. Report text: "Really want me to come over and over again and again" Reference post
  25. I've heard back and it's something they need to investigate, however, we also need to perform a migration and re-index of the forum servers at some point which may fix this problem anyway. Fingers crossed!
