  1. You should post on the Collection page to ask the curator these questions. They may be able to help.
  2. One of the benefits of Vortex is that the install order doesn't matter. If you need to adjust which mod overwrites then Vortex can change that at any time regardless of which order the mods got installed.
  3. This isn't normal behaviour. Something on your PC is causing the CPU load. I'd suggest disabling any third party security apps and see if it still happens.
  4. If Vortex isn't creating the registry key when you run the installer then something on your PC is breaking the install process. It's also possible something on your PC is blocking Vortex from reading the registry to check if the key is there. If you know how to use RegEdit you can look under "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\57979c68-f490-55b8-8fed-8b017a5af2fe" to see if the Vortex install path is set properly.
  5. Honestly, no idea. We use a third-party tool to scan PAK files, so something that the tool depends on is probably broken on your machine. This is the tool: https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib I would hazard a guess that your C++ redistributable or .NET install is messed up.
  6. Based on the error you're getting corrupted downloads. This is almost certainly a connection issue rather than a Vortex issue. Try restarting your router.
  7. You can always unlist your collection. It is not possible to fully remove it.
  8. You should be able to fix this by simply reinstalling Vortex over the top of the version you have. You've most likely (somehow) lost the registry entry. This means Vortex would not be able to uninstall or update itself properly.
  9. A New Story Guided by Empyrean Miquella, players are beckoned to the Land of Shadow, a place obscured by the Erdtree where the goddess Marika first set foot. In these strange new lands, players discover the dark secrets of the world as they meet others who follow in Miquella’s footsteps with ulterior motives. Exploring a Familiar World Full of New Secrets ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree takes players beyond the Lands Between to explore the Land of Shadow, a completely new world from ELDEN RING. Players can seamlessly travel back and forth between its vast maps interspersed with diverse situations and meticulous dungeons where menacing enemies roam. A Further-deepened RPG Shadow of the Erdtree adds new weapons, equipment, weapon skills and magic not found in the base game ELDEN RING, along with new enemies, boss encounters and plotlines to further increase players' RPG freedom. Take on these threats with the new powers you can acquire.
  10. The long-awaited 1.6 update for Stardew Valley will be released for PC players today. More info: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14948 As announced on Twitter:
  11. It's not broken, you've just not got the correct .NET installed. Please read the linked help article. You need .NET 6.0 NOT .NETCore
  12. The master list message usually occurs when something on your PC prevents Vortex from talking to GitHub. Check your firewall/anti-virus settings. As for the deployment problem. Check the notifications in Vortex for advice on how to fix the issue. I suspect you've got the game and mod staging folder on different hard drives.
  13. If you didn't back up your Vortex AppData folder, there's no way for Vortex to know which of the files belong to mods, so there is no way to recover from that state.
  14. You'll need to provide more specifics about what is/isn't working for us to look into it.
  15. This seems to be something specific to your setup, as only one other user has reported this as an issue (and that was several weeks ago). I removed your post from that thread as it didn't add anything to the conversation.
  16. I'm not able to replicate this. What I assume has happened is that you accidentally deleted the files from the "Downloads" folder in Vortex. So when you remove the mod, it disappears completely because the download file no longer exists. Try installing a mod from the site by downloading it first, install it and then uninstall it. Do it still happen when you do this?
  17. Have you looked in the Knowledge Base? https://modding.wiki/en/vortex/users/migrating-to-a-new-pc
  18. Can you provide a screenshot of the issue? It sounds like you're trying to install a Collection on top of an existing mod list where you've deleted the downloaded archives for those mods.
  19. It's not likely to be Vortex that is doing this. There was a fault with Engine Fixes that caused the game to disable all plugins, it's quite likely to be that.
  20. Collections will always deploy automatically at the end of the process, this is intended.
  21. Did you delete the archive from your downloads folder? Mods cannot be reinstalled if the download is no longer on your system.
  22. We've got a help page for this here. https://help.nexusmods.com/article/104-how-can-i-add-a-new-game-to-nexus-mods
  23. Try the troubleshooting steps here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues Failing that, clear your cookies for NexusMods.com and try again.
  24. Check your extensions tab in Vortex. I am starting to suspect you have both the latest Starfield Extension AND an old version installed at the same time. This isn't possible unless one of them was manually installed at some point.
  25. Please see this article: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/105-i-have-reached-a-daily-or-hourly-limit-api-requests-have-been-consumed-rate-limit-exceeded-what-does-this-mean
