  1. I get that it might feel like that but keep in mind that Starfield came out 18 days ago, so we're still gathering data on how modding works and what Vortex needs to do. Coupled with that, both myself and Insomnious - who are the two main contributors to Starfield support - were on annual leave between 4-17 September which meant that even if the rest of the team knew what to change it may not have been possible to update it. You might say it was bad planning but in fairness the holiday was all booked in well before Bethesda delayed the release of the game. As Showler pointed out, I have been responding to the mod page comments/bug reports intermittently but there's only so much I can do from a sunbed by the pool! We're both back now so we'll be catching up on what's happening. Version 0.3.0 should have just dropped that includes a few bugfixes I did over the weekend.
  2. Delete the file and redownload it, Vortex should be prompting you to do this.
  3. Some bad ISPs block it (so do some national governments). You can also go to Extensions -> Show Bundled and ensure the ones for the games you're trying to mod are enabled.
  4. This is a classic symptom of a broken .NET install, please see https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12891273-common-solutions-megathread/&do=findComment&comment=124190193
  5. It's enabled by default so it will only disable if you as the user do it or if there's some kind of error.
  6. Extensions -> Show Bundled -> Verify Oblivion is active, you may have disabled it.
  7. If you've turned of User Account Control (you really should never have a reason to do so) this message will appear.
  8. Your tests show no issue connecting to any server so there's possibly something on your PC causing the slowdown. Is it slow to download manually or only in Vortex?
  9. The image you provided doesn't seem to be valid. Could you try again or elaborate on what the message says?
  10. Sounds like you might be using something to translate the page which is causing you issues?
  11. We don't provide support for BG3MM, you should ask for help from the creators of the app. You can try using Vortex to see if it's a problem with the manager or a configuration issue on your PC
  12. Which mod manager are you using? It sounds like a simple case of having broken the NXM association on your PC, Vortex has a toggle to fix this in Settings -> Downloads.
  13. As the error says you must pick the top level folder (i.e. the one called Baldurs Gate 3) for it to be valid
  14. Starfield support is currently very basic and will be improved over the coming weeks.
  15. If you're blocking GitHub communication it won't show all games. You can browse them at https://nexusmods.com/site
  16. Unless you have another app installed windows will remember that Vortex was the NXM:// handler. This is a config problem in whichever other app you're trying to use.
  17. Could you provide more info about what you're trying to do? Perhaps you are doing something wrong to even require this.

  19. This is covered in the pins https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12891273-common-solutions-megathread/&do=findComment&comment=124189977
  20. You will need to move the mod staging folder (Settings -> Mods) to your F drive then click deploy in the mods tab
  21. Hmm, did you definitely click apply? Also make sure you're moving the staging folder from "Mods" and not the download folder. If it doesn't work then maybe there's a permission issue with the drive.
  22. It's a bit confusing, but we released GOG support "over the air" when the game released, so you got support immediately. However, in Vortex 1.9.4 the GOG supported version is part of the core app and won't require users to download the OTA update to be able to manage it properly.
  23. To enable hardlinks you need to do the following: Ensure the mod staging folder and the game folder are on the same Hard drive on your PC.Ensure the Hard drive holding both folders is using an NTFS file system (removable drives often don't have this by default and need reformatting).
