Keep mod settings in sync across computers
Pickysaurus replied to Trips2007's topic in Vortex Support
You can create a Collection, that's basically what you're asking for. -
Looks like you're using a custom theme that has got corrupted somehow. Go to %appdata%\Vortex\ and delete the "Themes" folder. If that doesn't work also delete any themes from the "Plugins" folder.

It's not necessarily the mods. If the game isn't able to read the mod files when they are symlinks. Some games just can't do that.

Skyrim SE GOG causes error in Vortex
Pickysaurus replied to KocoboJeCpbuja's topic in Vortex Support
Pirating the game is probably your issue. Banned. -
KocoboJeCpbuja banned Reason: Piracy of Skyrim Special Edition on GOG. Reference post

Those are symbolic links, this is because your staging folder is not on the same drive as the game. If the game doesn't support it you'll need to tell the extension developer to disable that option. As far as fixing it goes, Settings -> Mods is where you need to look. Change the staging folder to the same drive as the game and change the deployment method to hard link.

Moved the correct forum. I'm afraid we do need more information as this isn't a problem I've ever heard about.

If your downloads cut out at an arbitrary size that's usually caused by an ISP limit. If you have access to a download manager (or if ME3Tweaks supports it) you could try multi-threading the download. You can also do this in Vortex (but you must use ME3Tweaks to actually install it once you have the file).

Skyrim SE GOG causes error in Vortex
Pickysaurus replied to KocoboJeCpbuja's topic in Vortex Support
If Vortex was able to determine the install was from GOG Galaxy it will path correctly. Did you not use Galaxy? -
You might want to ask on the page for the extension https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/481
-
If Vortex isn't downloading it them something in your setup is preventing it. You can (if you feel up to it) go to LOOT's GitHub page and download the latest masterlist then place it in the folder.
-
Try checking the notifications in Vortex - I suspect there's an important message you missed.

Thanks for doing the tests. It appears you connection is bad to all of our worldwide server available to free users. This implies an ISP issue. You might be able to get better speeds by using a VPN or reporting the issue to your ISP. Your results also show that a Premium membership will potentially max out your connection.

Vortex needing access to windowsapps folder
Pickysaurus replied to Chompsies's topic in Vortex Support
Looks like AlfaStevio might be a DLC for a racing game. Do you have any racing games on GamePass? -
It could've also have been the LOOT committed an invalid YAML file to their repo or something. Unlikely, but possible.
-
Extension failed to load If you have encountered either of the issues above, please see the solution here.
