Can't find State Of Decay 2 in Vortex Mod Manager
Pickysaurus replied to Fininstar's topic in Vortex Support
As shown in your screenshot, that game isn't supported at the moment. -
A couple of weeks ago, we shared an update on the future of Bannerlord modding with the release of Bannerlord Software Extender and a shift to HarmonyX as the preferred library for mod authors. After a brief testing period, HarmonyX hasn't worked out quite as well as the community expected so a new version of the original Harmony library has been introduced to replace it. Once again, thank you to Aragas for the information! The good news is, this doesn't make a lot of difference for players, all you need to do is make sure your mods are up to date. We hope our Bannerlord mod authors find this information helpful!

Can't find Days gone in unmanaged games
Pickysaurus replied to coderhojaifa's topic in Vortex Support
That game is not supported by Vortex at the moment. -
Go to the Games section, find CP2077, click menu, manually set the path to wherever you reinstalled the game to.
-
Is that the whole error, because it doesn't look like it?

Perhaps this video will help you understand the process better:

F4SE error message Couldn't read arguements
Pickysaurus replied to YourMuse's topic in Vortex Support
If you're launching anything as admin you're going to have a bad time. Steam, Fallout 4, F4SE and Vortex all have no need to be run as admin. It's quite possible in doing so you've locked some files under an admin account and the non-admin apps no longer have permission to read/write to them. -
Make sure the mod actually has a plugin and that you've deployed since making the change.

F4SE error message Couldn't read arguements
Pickysaurus replied to YourMuse's topic in Vortex Support
I assume a lot of this conversation is based on this line: This is not a warning you should be concerned about, it simply means that the log for F4SE didn't exist when Vortex tried to check it for errors. This will have no impact on the game itself. -

You don't have permission to access the file in the error. Try manually deleting it and download it again.
-
If you already have the mod in your downloads folder it will skip this step. Otherwise you might have a bad install of Vortex.

Please try again now. We've also added a task to track down any users who may have corrupted endorsements and fix it in the future.

You should put the install instructions on the description page for best results. That field is intended to be a very short description of the file (if required) - mostly it's left blank. An image in the file description is an absolutely terrible workaround when it comes to accessibility as you say. If you mod files have drastically different install instructions then I'd start to wonder if they need to be on the same mod page? Perhaps you can give some examples of what you're trying to add for context?

I will poke our web team about the issue again. It looks like they didn't see that you were also having the problem, but at least we know there's a fix now.
-
There's only so much we can do to account for unexpected user inputs. If I get a chance I'll try and follow the exact steps, but I'm highly sceptical that Vortex actually deleted the files, or if it did, it would've shown a confirmation.

WastelandProject was looking at their public profile page rather than the My Mods section. I pointed this out in an email and they've since been able to find the page.
