If the armor you are testing in game was already in your inventory when you made the changes to the ArmorAddon then sometimes the changes don't take effect until you re-acquire the armor. Simple way to test it is to drop the armor from inventory and then pick it up off the ground. If that doesn't work then sorry to say I can't think of anything else.

I know the answer I'm supposed to give here: that it's a single player game and that whatever one person has in their game shouldn't be an issue for anyone else, and modders make what they want to make and have no need to concern themselves with anyone elses opinion... but... I do admit to rolling my eyes and shaking my head at a lot of screenshots I see of extra-large boobs on cartoonish looking characters. ... and I have on occasion viewed a help request thread asking for help in getting an outfit into the game, with every intention of helping, and then after seeing a picture of the outfit with huge breasts decided that I would really rather not. ... and I do find it hilarious that some mod users who are obsessed with things like immersion and realism, and yet have their characters walking around with these ridiculous looking humongous melons hanging from their chests. Other than that, each to their own... but that doesn't mean I can't laugh at it.

I was visiting my 83 year old mother on the weekend and I mentioned the story about the woman being shot and then charged for the death of the fetus. I was interested in what she would think about it. Her opinions were somewhat conflicted, being for abortion and against it at the same time depending on the situation, but she also reminded me of a story I've heard a few times. She herself was an unwanted child. My grandmother's 7th child was stillborn, after which she requested of her doctor to have her tubes tied. The doctor refused because my grandmother was a catholic, I'm not sure how that worked but that's the way it was. So my mom was technically the 8th child and unwanted, and my grandmother made a point of telling her she was unwanted - nice lady :laugh: , I guess it was just one too many for her and she was quite old by that time. So if gran gets birth control then mom doesn't get born and neither do I. I support liberal abortion laws in the first 6 - 8 weeks of pregnancy, but I suspect if we had always had liberal abortion laws then a lot of us wouldn't be here today to argue about it.

Just as an example say it was a random person just walked up and shot the woman in the stomach , killing the baby that was wanted , should the perpetrator be charged for murder or not. Or better yet its just a guy who doesn't want to be stuck raising the baby , so assaults the woman ,beating her stomach. So for prosecution charges is that a baby that died or is it just a blob of cells. I'm just saying it this way cause I'm not sure what angle your taking on it. Your scenarios don't work because in reality it is the pregnant woman who is being charged, not the shooter. The slippery slope I see would go something like this: Pregnant woman rides bicycle, pregnant woman falls off bicycle and miscarries, pregnant woman charged with manslaughter due to her reckless endangerment of baby/fetus. Sounds crazy, like it would never happen, and yet if you follow the logic in the shooting charges then the bike rider being charged with manslaughter is not so farfetched.

I knew a man who immigrated to Canada from Serbia. He talked often of his life in the former Communist Yugoslavia. He spoke of hard times, but also of good times. Many shortages of things we take for granted. He reminisced of smuggling gasoline across the Romanian border, and having the border closed and vehicles searched by troops. I got the impression that in hindsight he enjoyed every minute of it - the exciting times of a young man. He also spoke of having a job that didn't require much work. "No one worked very hard, not even the bosses, and no one cared." Which was why I suppose they didn't have a lot of the things we take for granted. He had money, he had food, he had a place to live, and he had the pursuit of women, and for him this was a good life. He never spoke of a lack of freedom or individuality, for in the context of his own life he had these things. Not political freedom, not a vote or a voice in the government of his country, but still the freedom to live his life, which for him I suspect was enough. When he immigrated to Canada after the breakup of Yugoslavia, it was not for freedom or the opportunity to live in a democratic country for which he left his beloved Serbia. It was to escape the war which he feared his son would have to fight in. So though he came to the free world for a better life for his son, it was not for freedom. When asked: Why Canada and not America? He answered "because they bombed my country and killed my people and I will hate them forever." Blood matters, it trumps almost everything. He was only one man, not every man. He had his own perspective on the world and his place in it. No one can speak for everyone. There are as many different perspectives on our world as there are people living in it.

I prefer oldrim, or LE as I like to call it, because "it just works" as Todd would say. I've got SE twice over gifted to me by Bethesda on two different Steam accounts, but can't be bothered with downloading 25 gigabytes when I already have LE on disk Also the number of mods available for LE are practically endless, and as has already been pointed out - no more updates for LE, which means the game is stable. The only thing that could make me want to switch to SE would be if the graphics were noticeably better, and I haven't seen any evidence of that.

What if the situation were reversed? What if America were a dirt poor nation, with a largely illiterate population scratching out a meager living, and dreaming of a better life in wealthy Central American countries? While that sounds like a good idea, I'm pretty sure my younger self would tell me to bugger off. If we ever could do something like that I think we would be in for the mother of all human rights battles. Personally, if I had a younger clone of myself, I'd be happy just to try and raise the kid to be better than me rather than burdening him with the memories of all my mistakes.

I'm sure you mean well, but mod authors generally go in their own direction and do the things they want to do. I was a big fan of the Vikings history channel show, and it does support a lot of what you say, though I did notice a lot of historical inaccuracies on the English side. However, when it comes to making mods, it comes down to what does the mod author want to do, and other peoples wants don't enter into it too much.
