I don't understand what draws folks to AOC.... an economist with no grasp of economics..... Her 'green new deal' was going to be prohibitively expensive, and simply taxing the rich was never even going to scratch the surface of the real cost. And then we had a whole bunch of folks jumping on the same bandwagon...... One estimate suggested is was going to be somewhere in the neighborhood 97 Trillion dollars to pay for that plan. (over ten years) Completely unrealistic.

How about removing the mod that suggests you do so..... the "unexpected records" feller.

Report the mod. Should be a button to that effect on the mod page.

The media is just following the lead of their respective party favorites. Sure, the divisions have been there for decades, if not centuries. But, up until lately, (2004? 2008? Whenever it was Obama got his first term.) the two sides could at least cooperate to some degree, and the business of the country moved forward. Now, I think it is more about making sure the 'other guys' can't do anything productive, so they won't be able to point to it next election cycle, and say "See what we did, in spite of the opposition to our making the country a better place." It seems there is political capital to be gained from sewing as much division as possible, be it political, race-based, religion, or gender. It's all about "We are RIGHT, and you are WRONG!" There is no discussion. There is no compromise. There is no middle ground. You are either with us, or you are against us. In all reality, we have become our own worst enemies. No one is going to have to defeat us in a war, we are going to destroy ourselves, from the inside, all the while selling our country off to 'foreign investors'. (china.)

Question about graphics after scrapping stuff...
HeyYou replied to Chemist18's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
The more recent versions of Scrap Everything should have an option to disable previs, and some other things during the install. (turning it all off globally can really trash your frame rate.) I though the newer versions already did that. I use it, and clear out sanctuary on a regular basis, and don't have that issue. Are you running an older version of SE? -
Unusually long load times, many common fixes applied

How is your harddrive? Getting full? Getting old? -
I suspect that sewing division would still be incredibly profitable for them.........

Crash dumps? Overwrite? Downloads? What are those???? -
Because I want to do my part to make sure a dem doesn't get elected. And there you have it folks, spite. No reason, no logic, no compromises, just pure spite. But Trump is a spiteful man, so it hardly comes a surprise his voters would be as well. Life is not a zero sum game, others winning does not mean that you are losing. LOLOLOL. No. Spite has nothing to do with it. I simply vehemently disagree with the platform most of the dems are running on. I disagree with their positions, I disagree with their policies, I disagree with their message. I don't want a dem in office. Therefore, I will vote republican. I won't bother voting independent, as that would be pointless. Might just as well vote dem instead.

Do you have your windows 7 installation disk? If you do, boot from that. Select 'repair', NOT install. Go for the command prompt. Figure out what drive your windows installation is on. Just keep changing drives till ya find it. :) Once you know where it is, use the following commands: cd \windows\system32 copy utilman.exe utilman.bak copy cmd.exe utilman.exe confirm the overwrite. Reboot. When windows gets to the login screen, click the icon for 'accessibility options', that will open a command prompt. :) In that window, type in: net user [your username] 1 That will change your password to 1 Log in, and change your password to whatever you like. You will have to reboot to your install media to get the accessibility features back. Same process, once you get to \windows\system32, type in: copy ustilman.bak utilman.exe and confirm the overwrite. Reboot back into windows, and you are all set.

I think it's more like the folks in power in the states are less crazy than some other folks. And yeah, getting the US OUT of the middle east, will remove a lot of the objections the jihadists have against us. Though, I am sure they will think up more reasons to hate us. Too late, it will take generations to mellow out, and you don't need to be a jihadist or commi to dislike the U.S., Scandinavian will do. And you are actually in the process of making a whole new generation of loose cannons at your border, so there is that to look forward to. U.S will always have enemies, their economy and self worth as a nation is tied to war by an unholy alliance of greed and some perverse idea of rights, never ending economic growth, and a need to feel better than everyone else. "War is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous"- Eric Arthur Blair Ah, you paint all americans with a rather broad brush, do you not? Should I therefore consider all germans the rough equivalent of Hitler? We are stuck with the government we have, which is wholly owned by the corporations. Given the way the system works, there really isn't much we can do about it, short of outright rebellion. And americans, by and large, are not interested in expending that effort. Therefore, the status quo remains. That is one of the primary motivators behind Trump getting elected in the first place. He was 'outside' the system. A rogue element in Washington DC, he wasn't just another crony. And its likely the primary factor that will get him re-elected as well. Even though he is an idiot, he still makes a lot more sense than what the dems are spouting. As for our southern border, it is called a 'border' for a reason. It marks the dividing line between US, and Mexican territory. We have control points for people to cross our border legally. Anyone that doesn't pass through one of those control points is here illegally, and therefore, a criminal, that should be arrested, and deported. No questions asked. I am real curious where you coming up with the 'whole generation of loose cannons'....... Oh, and by the way, does Scandinavia have open borders? Do they let anyone in that wants to show up? Or do they control immigration as well?

And how much are those illegals getting in food stamps each month? Housing subsidies? It isn't just the number, it's how they arrived at that number. Who knows, maybe your numbers are already taken into account. -
How well can a GTX 1660 6gb run heavily modded Skyrim/Fallout 4?
HeyYou replied to SuperPiggeh778's topic in PC Gaming
I run both games on a 1060 6gb, and the 1660 looks to be about 20-25% better. It won't be an issue. :D 500 GB Ram??? Is that built on a server motherboard? -
I was just forced to update mine..... It died. Of course, it was 8 years old, so, I definitely got my moneys worth out of it. Went to an i7 9700KF (unlocked, no onboard video, no hyper threading, but, 8 cores, so, don't really need it.) 16Gb ram, M2 primary drive. (holy smoke have those gotten CHEAP!) Recycled my GTX 1060 6gb. FO4 plays REALLY nice. :D Hell, I had one of them on my ICQ list, and used to chat with them. Ah, the good old days. :) I would love to see them go back to that, but, they now seem NDA-happy.....

Beth started their downhill slide after morrowind was released. While MW was in development, the devs actually showed up on the forums, discussed the game. That stopped after MW was released. While oblivion was in development, the devs were nowhere to be found..... and it remained that way. They tried an 'ask the devs' thread before skyrim released, but, they wouldn't answer any questions about the game, it was more like a bunch of folks in the waiting room at the airport, chatting about general things. As time has passed, they have become more closed-mouth, more corporate, and more about money, than games. They used to be a great company, then they had REAL success with morrowind, and the whole thing went to the dogs...... They have pulled some pretty stupid shenanigans the last several years, FO76, Creation Club...... which they can release patches for, but still won't fix the glaring bugs. It's depressing. But, the market speaks for itself, and their games DO sell VERY well. So, I have zero expectation of anything changing.

Having huge numbers of 'stuff' in general in your workbenches causes Workshop mode to load more slowly. I use a mod that alters how that loading works, and now it simply doesn't matter how much stuff is in there, workshop loads almost instantly. (solid state drives probably don't hurt either.)

Older technology. They are likely more akin to 8-track tapes. :D

I do enjoy my first amendment rights....... wouldn't like to see them curtailed. Gotta take the bad with the good, right? And yeah, the left has been working on infringing on those rights of late. Makes me NOT wanna vote for any of them. There is realistically no way that freedom of speech can just continue to grow un fettered. It would lead to the break down of communication. Ergo the transfer of information ( the main purpose of communication ) does and will suffer exponentially by no rules in the transfer of information. So eventually to preserve the main purpose ... freedom of speech will be curtailed. For starters will be those who profit from abusing freedom of speech. You can guess who that will be / commercialism & milking the consumer cash cow. Which is the outcome from capitalism attempting to groom their cash crop. And it was probably just zealous naivety by advertisers 50+ years ago. But what is it now ??? Now it is trying to make it a felony to call someone an "illegal alien". A term which has been in use for over a century. An accurate description at that. But, seems it offends some on the left, so, they want to make it criminal. Same for speaking out against the cult of global warming. They wanted to make that a crime as well. These are not something I considered "good for society". And sure, freedom of speech is NOT absolute. No yelling "fire" in a crowded room. etc. But, attempting to curb folks from disseminating information simply because you don't like the message? That is one of the primary reasons we HAVE the first amendment. So yeah, I get a bit bent out of shape when our own politicians start talking about regulating it. LoL hadn't heard about that yet ... I guess we will see how it goes down if and when a first case of it is brought. But to state the obvious ... this never would have come up , if employers were facing fines of $250,000 for hiring illegals. But the truth is ... the US is addicted to its slave labor pool. Which requires having a class termed as illegal. And it is just natural that the slaves will eventually revolt ... which is all this really is. It isn't the slaves revolting though. The slaves seem to be perfectly happy. They come here, they make money, they get various benefits that CITIZENS don't, free health care, etc. It's the DEMS that are leading the revolt....... Which I find..... Revolting. :D -
