  1. You are missing the point entirely. Its Robins house, you abide by Robins rules, or, you don't get to visit. I don't miss that point at all. I am simply not talking about that. But 'that' IS the point. The rules are in place for good reason. Don't expect them to change because you don't think they are 'right'.

  3. Asking for advice on performing illegal acts? Hhhhmmm.......
  4. What games are you currently playing?
  5. As I clearly stated, I am aware of this and do not dispute it. My point is, if you are going to have a debate section than these policies defeat the entire purpose of it. To me, debate is a sacrosanct thing; the lynchpin of all real human progress. If you do not respect it, do not presume to take part in one. So, as I see it, the error is not in my thinking so much as your comprehension of what was actually being said. So, what you believe makes Robin wrong in his own house? Terribly sorry, doesn't work that way. The section is here, it has rules. If you want to play by the rules, all well and good, you are welcome to participate. If you don't want to abide by the rules, then you won't last long. Some topics are simply too polarizing to be allowed in an open forum. It doesn't have any benefits at all, and has many drawbacks. Robin has been doing this for more than a decade, and has a pretty good idea of what he is about. If you think you can do a better job, you are always welcome to give it a shot. :)
  6. Someone had to do it. :) Assassins creed. Just looking for a way to remove curse words, or if its possible through modding Probably not without re-recording ALL the voiced dialog that includes such words...... maybe bleep it out, but, still, a rather significant undertaking.
  7. 1.5.39 is the latest version for Skyrim SE, Skyrim LE (legendary edition) or "Oldrim" as it is sometimes referred to is 1.9, or even 1.10 by now. You are fine. :) Welcome to NEXUS. :D
  8. Actually, I rather like XP pro, and ran it for many years. 64 bit version no less. It was incredibly stable, ran any games I felt like running, and didn't give me any issues. Of course, finding drivers was sometimes fun, and forget trying to find printer drivers....... I would still be running it if microsoft was still updating it, along with Mozilla/Google...... at this point, XP is dead, no one supports anything on it.
  9. Why are you installing XP? No one supports it any more, and even the browser folks have stopped doing updates for their browser on XP. Are any partitions defined on the HDD at the moment?

China doesn't want another Korean war, any more than we do. (well, most of us, at least.....) My guess is that the sanctions are having more of an effect on NK then lil kim would like to let on. Still and all, I don't expect anything worthwhile to happen from it.
  11. Turn off the over-clocking on your vid card. Beth games don't seem to care for that overmuch. Is there some task scheduled that your PC is attempting to do every 30 minutes?
  12. Why, exactly, do you say this? The MO2 team released a fix for it practically the day of. Even MO1 (which is probably what you're thinking of, since that was Tannin's work) got an update with Tannin's permission. I was not aware of that. Thanks for the info. Wonder if the OP has updated?

Military drills are planned and scheduled YEARS ahead of time. It's not like we just decided on the spur of the moment to try and annoy lil' kim.
  14. Thanks for the concession. Now explain why you wouldn't be much happier living in China. Wait on second thought never mind. I really don't wish to steer this OT and frankly I already know what you're about to type anyway. What concession? You were the one arguing for 'god given', now you admit that there is no such thing? The only consistency I am seeing in your arguments is word usage...... nazi, treason, facist, etc. You lack coherency, your arguments have the flavor of a fanatic that has been converted to some cause, and can no longer reason for himself, but simply spouts the party line. At one point, you were a reasonable entity, and I actually agreed with you on a fair few of your points. Something changed, and now you simply appear to be another one of the tin-foil hat crowd. Quite frankly, you remind me of 'that guy' that shows up to the party, spouting his pap, and everyone else just kinda rolls their eyes, and whispers to their neighbor behind their hand, and then they go off to do something far more important, like, watching the grass grow...... It's obvious to me that 'debating' anything with you any more is pretty much pointless. When you arguments fall apart, you resort to insults. This was fun at one point, but, now it has become tedious. I used to find you amusing, and now, well, I just find it sad. So, in conclusion, I will no longer engage with you. There is no point.

    Trump

Just in the past week Trump has intentionally shut down all negotiations and existing peace plans with both North Korea and Iran. John Bolton strikes again. He's never been elected to a public office in his entire life yet has absolutely no problem sending countless thousands of other people's kids to their deaths, to fight for Halliburton and ExxonMobil. The sky won't be falling for most Americans until it actually does. It's what happened in Ger... oh forget it. What is the point of talks with NK in any event? Not like we haven't talked to them before, gave concessions, reached an agreement, only to have it broken in six months. This is standard procedure for NK. Belligerence, talks, concessions, good for a little while, then, right back to belligerence. We have seen this MANY times. It ALWAYS goes the EXACT same way. Why on earth would you expect this time to be any different?? It's a good question. The main good thing that would come out of it is for SK and JP mostly.. and the US further holding influence in that part of the Pacific (as opposed to China). I hate to say it, but the people of NK themselves are secondary. It would be GREAT to do something that benefits them, but that's not the main goal, I think. And what the Kims (Son/Father/Grandfather) know is that they can't really coexist in this scheme. They sit fat on top of the hill and thrive on being like gods to their people. There's little reason they'd ever want to change that. They're nowhere close to some other despots in history, who felt a threat from their own people either. Sometimes you could convince these types to leave by giving them refuge somewhere. But from what I can tell, North Korea is completely normalized. So the Kims have little to fear. I don't know what you could really do to convince that Peace is truly for their benefit. But that's just the problem. Nothing good comes out of it, all we accomplish is kicking the problem down the road for a (short) period of time. The whole idea of previous talks was to prevent NK from developing nuclear weapons, and their requisite delivery systems. That has obviously failed miserably. Talks/concessions/etc would only serve giving NK even more time to consolidate their tech, and reinforce their position. It's patently obvious that the NK people are NOT going to 'rise up', and depose the kim regime. It's also obvious that the kim regime will only honor any agreement as long as it serves THEIR purposes. Trouble there is, what they want tends to change with some frequency...... so the agreements are only doing what they want for a short time, then we go back to the beginning of the cycle. Again. Here we have a case where diplomacy simply does NOT work. Various governments just want to bury their heads in the sand, and pretend that isn't the case, which really isn't helping the situation.
  16. I think things changed in the way various software packages are permitted to connect to the nexus database. MO2 would need an update to continue to work properly, but, that isn't likely to happen.
  17. Well, given how weak your arguments are, I can see why you need to resort to insults, and disparaging my intelligence. First: Nothing is given to you by "god". Mainly because he either does not exist at all, or, he simply lost interest in the human race. Considering there is zero evidence to support his existence, I believe the first point is the more likely. Second: One would think that if something was 'given' to you by a 'god', that a mere government, comprised of men, would have no authority over it. That doesn't seem to be the case, as there are many examples of governments depriving folks of their 'god given' rights. Or, did god only give those rights to white, anglo-saxon protestants, living on one specific continent? Third: Even if it was only WASPs, living in one specific area, that received those 'god given' rights, our government here has absolutely no problem violating those rights, whenever they feel like it, and god doesn't seem to care. I have seen absolutely no consequences from any higher power for them having done so. This reinforces my belief that there simply isn't a god, therefore, he hasn't given us anything at all.

  19. Any expectation of privacy on the internet is a delusion. Nothing is private. And thank God that simply saying things does not make them so. The simple truth is, as a law-abiding U.S. citizen you have a right to free speech and private communication free from government repression of these rights. It's true from your internet communication to your postal mail and telephone calls. For the last time, if you don't understand or respect your own inherent, God-given rights and freedoms as a human being you might as well move to a country where these rights aren't recognized. Your defeatist attitude and errant claims are precisely how the German people woke up one day and found their federal government altogether destroyed. There is no such thing as god-given rights. You have the rights your government is willing to give you. That's it. The government can, and HAS taken them away whenever they feel they need to. Perhaps I should clarify my point a bit. You MAY have the 'right' to privacy with your internet communications, but, the REALITY is, there is no privacy on the internet.

Our "liberal media" hasn't existed since Ronald Reagan, and even if it did, how is it responsible for war hawks in Trump's administration? Trump is doing what he is fated to do: be the worst president in U.S. history and the one that sends most of the civilized world to its doom. If I had to sit down and design the perfect person to start WWIII, a brazen reactionary traitor with absolutely zero political ability, I could do no better than Donald Trump. Hillary would be a very close second try. Trump and the R's are currently hashing out the final details of our country's newest "fair trade deal" with their PRC masters. More smoke and mirrors. As a half century of U.S. presidents wrote, there is and can be no such thing as a fair trade deal with a Communist country. THERE IS ONLY TREASON TO OUR COUNTRY AND TO FREE MARKET CAPITALISM. I see liberal media every day. I don't see a connection between them, and war hawks though, but then, I haven't been looking for it either.
  22. Patriot act. My major point though is, you seem to think the american people are actually going to do something. They aren't. They won't. Things won't change until the whole cookie crumbles.
  23. So far, the FCC action has NOT resulted in over 6000 american soldiers dead, tens of thousand injured, hundreds of thousands of dead civilians, or, the frittering away of several trillion dollars. THAT is 'unprecedented', the FCC action isn't even a ripple on the ocean in comparison. Bush lied, people died.
