  1. New Voice actor:

Craig Sechler, He voiced the Adoring fan and Butch Deloria (FO3) and the annoying man (Also FO3).

    Source

I'm guess then he's voicing the wood elf males?Hopefully he'll only voice the Bosmer and not the other mer.

Considering there's over 70 voice actors, I guess there are more than one voicing the Bosmers. ;)

  2. A little off-topic regarding the design, but any chance you could up the amount of reputation points allowed to give per day? At the moment it is 10, and sometimes that can be a little few. Possibly making it a Premium-only feature. (You know, yet another reason to go Premium.^^)
  3. @Lastito: The skin for TESNexus IS Morrowind and Oblivion... Oblivion on the left, and Morrowind on the right...

And to those saying that fixed width is bad design: It is obvious that fixed width works, because most sites have change to that now, and I don't see a substantial drop in users on any of the sites that does that.

  4. @f1f2f3: Dynamic width is actually a web 1.0 thing. Fixed width is a 2.0 thing...^^

And the FACT that people fear change is not nonsense. It has been proven on this design-change already. A lot of people who at first disliked the new design, came back one day later, loving the design. Why? Because the change they had once feared, wasn't as bad as they had feared.

I am one of those; two months or so back, when I first saw the new design, I didn't like it. But when the platform was set up, and as I played around with it, adapted to how it was set up, I started loving it, and over the past few weeks, I have been using the platform a lot just to get used to it. Now I wouldn't even dream of going back to the old design!

And the change is not over yet, it has just started. Over the next weeks, we will be getting new coding for the sites from Axel, making it run more smoothly and introducing new & better functions. And as Rob said, he's not done either - he will be fixing bugs, changing things if the demand is there (Apart from width of course.^^)

Have faith, and most of all, be patient. (Just to clarify, this was not only directed to you, f1f2f3.)

  5. @lanep25: There's three green buttons that stands out quite a lot on the top of the page for endorsing, endorsement number and "Vote for me". It's the first thing you should spot on the page unless you can't see green.^^

Nice update Rob, and looking forward to more! :)

(Especially the Premium Notifications and the skins.)

  6. TSotP has a good point here; there's no way to know what category a mod is in.

Say, someone in the chat posts a link, saying it's a cool mod - but when I click it, I won't be able to quickly determine if this could be a mod for me or not, like I could before, as some categories are not for me, while others are.

I also agree with XTR3M368 on the description page. It should be wider. I don't know exactly how, as the non-premium ads probably blocks it a little. Any way you could make it so that for Premium users at least, the space used by the ads are instead used by what is supposed to be there? Like, widening the blog/news posts and file descriptions? As it is now, 1/3 of the width is empty space.

Apart from those two, I don't have anything to suggest. What's the approximate ETA on Axel's coding?

By the way, the comment-box works way better with the Firefox "text-box sizer" now, which is great!

  7. People really need to give this some time, and instead of posting negative comments with no constructive feedback what-so-ever, try posting what you think should be changed, and how you would like it be changed.

"I don't like the new design" helps Dark0ne in no way at all.

He has been listening a lot to the comments of the users, but I totally understand that he won't listen to people who just complain without any constructive to say. He allowed the users to come up with color schemes for TESNexus, and implemented Hickory's version of it.

    EDIT:

    GeohoundJason said:

"...The orange bars just make it feel weird..."

It's the same color as the old Nexus used...

  8. I guess the "spam" from vansenigma is an outcome of the recent lag issues.^^

And Rob, when (if) will the notifications be back for Premium Users? (I miss getting notifications when someone comments on one of my mods...)

@TheNiceOne: Get Premium, and get the notifications if/when we get it back again. ;)

  9. This is jquery.com, banjo:

"jQuery is a fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development. jQuery is designed to change the way that you write JavaScript."

  10. Great job, Rob! :)

Can't wait for Alex's codes now! (By the way, I love that guy! ;D )

    But...

I now see an "edit" link on every comment, regardless of whether it's my comment or not.

@XTR3M368, that part about viewing two Nexuses at the same time on one screen could actually be a little useful, as I often need to have two Nexus windows up when editing file submissions. And now I can even have 4 at the same time! ;D

Any ETA on that Banner feature you were talking about, Rob?
