  1. Really interesting read, lv000!

And I've played Arena and Daggerfall in the later days now, but never as an Argonian or a Khajiit, and quite frankly, I didn't even look at them. Never knew that they looked almost entirely human in the first two games.

  2. That seems pretty cool. First thing I thought about when I read that you use a frying pan was "Risen", and that is a fantastic game, so... Yay! :D

Hopefully though, it won't take too long to cook a lot of items like it often does in games, making it more a necessary evil than a cool feature. Well, unless the cooking process is actually a fun process, but from real life experience, I doubt that. ;D

  3. Awesome news Rob! :)

That you have listened to the members to the degree you have, and even letting members play around with the color scheme shows that you are a true community-man! (Of course, I knew this, but it proves it for everyone who didn't ;D )

    You're the best!

    I haven't seen Axel's work, but I already love him! :D

  4. Okay, so the newest info:

    Skyrim requires Steam (Source)

The skill Enchanting lets you not only enchant your gear, but also disenchant it. To learn how to enchant your gear, you first need to disenchant a magical item that has those enchantments you want to apply. (Source)

  5. Now, there's a design I like! :D

Now, my only "complaint" is the dark&light grey stripe-background on the "Top Files", "Latest Files", etc. I think it would look better with only a dark grey background, or a black background as you also have some boxes with black&grey stripes. (More of a suggestion than a complaint though. ;) )

And just a thought here: How would it look if the "Top Files" "Latest Files" and "Latest News" were in between the Hot file section and the news section? The reason I'm asking this is because if that was done, the news section could use the while width, instead of using only 2/3 of it.

Or reduce the width of the hot files section, and place the 3 boxes on the side of that, which should also make it possible to have the news section use the whole width.

  6. that would add so much more to the game if they did that. =)

It would make the act of smithing not only more addictive, but rewarding. *sigh* Now I'm going to keep hoping. Going to be gutted when it's not there...I got my fingers crossed.

If it's not there, it WILL be there. (If you get what I mean.^^)

  7. I'm sorry :( I hope to Talos our speculations are true.

I hope to all the nine that the speculations are true, as it would increase the amount of customization by a lot, and even to the extreme for PC users, as more and more options for armor-additions would become available through mods as well!

Though, however it turns out, I'm happy. ;D

  8. Updated the OP with a link to a page with all the screenshots of characters (And NPCs posing to the camera^^).

If I missed someone, please let me know! (The female Redguard screenshot is not included, as I can't find any high-res screenshot of her, so if you find one, let me know.)

  9. Interesting. I'd certainly like to hear more about them. I wonder if there are any more names as big as Max von Sydow?

I personally don't care about how famous a voice actor is. Just how "good" they are. I just hope they get emotional content and it's use sorted properly.

But most often, there's a reason why their famous. ;)

Though, I fully agree with you, good > famous!

But, Martin Septim, played by Sean Bean, had the best voice in Oblivion in my opinion. :)

  10. Actually you can customize your Ears I have heard. Zaldiir, can you confirm this it was in a Link from Bethsoft about one of the screenies. If not in the OP make sure it is. by the way it seems there is one more actor that has been named (At least on IMDB.) The NPC name is Mercer Frey voiced by Anthony De Longis. And as I said before Brandon Ellison was "General" If I'm right and IMDB is actually accurate the General would most likely be "General" for the Empire.

Added the voice actors now. :)

And about the Ears, I am not sure. I think I've heard it before, but I am not going through all the recent sources to find out. ;D

Would like to find out who this "Mercer Frey" is though...

Thing I hate about it being 200 years later; there's no previously known characters in the game. :P

I use Standard Zaldiir. Do I need to use Rich Text Editing for it not be be in error?

Nope, I used RTE before, and that's when I got the errors. :/

Try sending a PM to LHammonds or someone, and they'll probably look into it. :)

  11. Plus, Dark Elves have awesome voices, unless, apparently, they live in Cyrodiil

Everyone's got cool voices unless they live in Cyrodiil.^^

Same goes for appearance, everyone looks cool unless they live in Cyrodiil! ;D

  12. Awesome screens Mhonolithe! :D

And Leopold, Skyrim have had many queens and countesses throughout the history. ;)

And yes, there are no problem lore-wise to make the player High King, just like it was no problem making the player the Nerevarine, Hero of Kvatch, Champion of Cyrodiil, Sheogorath, and just think of all the guilds you are head of!

But, I would like to have an option to either become High King/Queen(?) or have someone else become that. :)

  13. I don't know if anyone else saw it, but I sure did. :hurr:

You do know that the character in that image is a custom created character, right? If you would, you could make it look like anyone.^^
