  1. Precicely how is stealing account info going to force Beth to speed up the release of Skyrim? If anything it could slow it down because they have to pull developers off of Skyrim to fight the feces storm caused by these idiots - Smart? I don't think so. Intelligent Not likely. Common sense? Not that I can see. Shoot themselves in the foot Now I think we are getting somewhere. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f351/charonn0/ohgeez-1.gif

The only good thing is the more of these cheap password thefts they pull off, the quicker the various authorities will catch them and put them away. Unless some user who has lost his life savings finds them first.

    Agreed!

Almost hoping for the latter there, as if authorities catch them, not much will happen, but an angry user who's lost his life savings... By Thor and Odin, that would be a blood bath!

  2. The front page is wrong on the amount of voiced dialogue -- 47,000 was the number for Oblivion. Skyrim boasts 60,000 voiced lines spread out over seventy actors :D

It was said 47.000 lines in one of the interviews at E3, and I'm going with the newest information. :)

  3. Compared to Morrowind, Oblivion really lacks detail. But hey; I still like it. It was my first TES game, and I was amazed by it for the first months. I played the game for about 300 hours, the vanilla thing, with just some enhancement mods (Darker dungeons, Natural environments and such) and it was quite nice experience. Afterwards, I got Morrowind, and after getting past the clunky gameplay I found an experience much deeper and diverse than Oblivion ever had been. It had big flaws, but overall I liked it better. And it didn't feel like a Xbox game.

Concerning Whiterun... I'm okay with the city's look, and do know what concept art means. I was just disappointed by how much they changed it. But hey, they know what they are doing, hopefully :P

Yeah, the concept art for Whiterun was truly amazing, so I am a tad disappointed myself, but it still look amazing though.

And I also age on Morrowind/Oblivion as well. (But I have been a Morrowind fan since 2003, so my opinion is seriously biased.^^)

  4. ok il ask again <.< anything from skyrim today or thats it we saw from skyrim on E3?

    I think we've got it all. :/

Yeah but the city looks nothing like the concept art... I mean, this sucks. The same happened to the cities of Oblivion. You seen the concept? There was a mod that made them more like they should have been, though.

But I think Beth is lazy. They push a mediocre game on markets and let the modders finish the job. This is how it should NOT work. Oblivion was very mediocre game, it lacked in everything, and it took many years for modders to make it a worthy sequel to Morrowind. And yet there are no ways to fix everything; the crappy dialogue, interface, etc.

It's all a matter of opinions. In my opinion, Oblivion was a high-quality game, and not mediocre.

And... Is Bethesda lazy because they make their cities something different than their concepts were? Concept art is just a small indication of how something should look, not the way it necessary will look, and definitely not always the way that looks best. ;)

  5. I noticed in the minute 9:03 in the 14min demo that the guy fighting the player does a sort of blocking movement, of course im not really sure about this, thats just how it looks to me, hopefully that means wielding a shield is not the only way to block atacks

You can block with a shield and with two-handed weapons. :)

  6. Who is hating Skyrim? (Apart from the obvious trolls that gets it from complaining about things...)

And I just exactly missed it. Damn it!

Was it on Gamespot? And what live cam was it?

There's another one on IGNas well at midnight GMT.

  7. They said something about diseases in the demo? (I was in awe all the time, and things slipped my ears.^^)

Aaron, it's over. But I am going to link to a video as soon as one is up. :)
