  1. Why it's different? Because making the player invincible is done through the console, and it not part of the game itself.

You are right that it's a problem with many gamers, but then again, many like the possibility to fast-travel, so leaving it in as an optional thing is the best option. You want to use it, use it, don't want to, don't use it - It's a simple thing really. Much like mods: Don't download or complain if you don't like it - It's optional.

And another thing about fast travel and the hating is that you only see those who hate, since those who don't have no reason to say anything on the topic - for them it's fine as it is.

  2. Making the player invincible and having the option to fast travel is two totally different things though... If you can't resist the temptation to use fast travel, then it's only a matter with your will(power^^)..

And open cities have been "confirmed" sort of. Dragons can attack cities, and for dragons to attack, open cities is required. Though, this is not fully confirmed, it's most likely. :)

  3. And no fast travel (but there will be...) or at least, some other way to travel between the 5 towns and a way to desactivate fast travel (the mods to do it in oblivion never worked on my game ><)

You do realize it's just to not use the fast travel if you don't like it...?

    No need for mods^^

  4. Updated with History of what happens between Oblivion and Skyrim.

Very little is known yet, and only 40-50 years are covered, so still 150-160 years left to dig up.. :D

Also found something about the way of the Voice, which seems to be some kind of Magic the Nords use, and is practiced in the city of Markarth Side, at the Imperial College of the Voice founded by Tiber Septim. (This is how it is during the third era, and much has probably changed during two first centuries of the fourth era.

  5. My first Character will be a Nord Warrior, wielding a 2-handed sword or axe, and medium armor (or equivalent).

I will do whatever I feel like doing, whether it being doing the main quest, exploring, or doing some of those random side quests.

He will be a honorable man, not a barbarian - though he will look like one. If there is choices in the game, he will take the good choices.

My second character will probably be a test character for my first mod for Skyrim. :P

  6. He is going this route because it makes more money, and as you saw in the reference post, he has yearly web server bills (the file server bills are paid monthly) of around £20,000 ($31,000).. That is a lot of money, and demands a steady income. (When it all comes down to it, we should all have premium just to keep these sites alive...)
