Yeah, it's of Akaviri origin, hence they use it for Skyrim, since the Akaviri have always been trying to take Skyrim, and I have a feeling we'll finally get to see them in Skyrim . :)

Bethesda's Version of Cataclysm?
They started development of Skyrim in 2007-08, at a time Cataclysm wasn't even announced...
I hate it when people always have to compare every freakin' game with WoW!

From the uesp:
"The main antagonist will be Alduin, a Nordic variation of Akatosh. He's the "world eater", the one who swallowed the last world in a flame tempest and created the new one. Therefore, he is a God of Time, of the Beginnings and the Endings."
- so you have gotten that part right, and it seems very likely that he is the "main enemy" in the game, considering he is the "world eater".

Steam is actually a very good software for this.
1. You never lose your Game copy, and you won't have to worry about getting scratches on your disk.
2. Achievements - this is a nice feature, which adds some more to the games apart from Questing and such. (Room for improvements on that part though.)
3. Saved Games can be accessed from different computers with a simple click.
4. No Internet Connection required to play the game, just to download and patch it. You can play in Offline mode forever. (There are actually people complaining about the requirements for internet to update the game... duh! How should you get the update otherwise?!)
5. Chat with friends while in-game by clicking shift+tab.

Yeah, it would be handy to have it on TESNexus, but I do like the "TESVNexus" though, that would work well. :)
(SkyrimNexus doesn't seem right...)

I am quite certain they will make a Dev Tool for Skyrim, as Todd himself have said that the Modding Community is a very important part of TES. :)

Yeah, definitely. How many people have it? I bought the full game and after 5 minutes realized there was no way I'd be able to play through it alone.
I bought the game as well, and also realized I couldn't play it without myrmaad screaming in my ears, Thandal asking how to open doors, and Baron screaming like a girl at the water part! :P

They may change minor aspects of the game, small mechanisms, NPCs, Quests (Maybe even add a quest or two) and such from what he asks of them.
They can also start planning DLCs with what he asks of them.

From that link:
Shift+R does not delete the cache, it only refreshes the website... (Just like clicking the Reload Button^^)
To refresh the cache of the site, click ctrl+F5. :)

It's only based on Nordic Culture and society - it's not a copy...
Therefore, it's not bound to be exactly like it was in real life, as Bethesda will try to make their own version of Nordic culture. (Well, they already have)
And like someone said, Skaal Village has guards, and it's a fully Nordic village, so I think we will find guards in Skyrim as well. :)
(More people to kill for those who likes to raid villages^^)
