  1. I haven't seen anything about Hawken until I saw a preview of it on Gamespot the other day. I thought at first it was the new Mechwarrior game with a different title. The game does look a bit fast paced, but its too fast imo. Still, I might have to give it a whirl.

Ziitch, EVE is a pretty good space combat sim. Check it out.

  2. I got Dragon's Dogma a couple days ago, and I gotta say its pretty good, with a few minor issues I got with the game design. The biggest issue for me is Pawns changing their inclinations from what you want them to be. Example, I got a Strider pawn with Mitigator and Challenger, which gives them the perfect AI for ranged attacks, but I frequently lose Mitigator for Pioneer, which means they run in an melee everything and rarely use a bow. I ended up just changing the pawn to a fighter, seeing how they were eventually just gonna run in and melee everything anyway. Despite that its still better than Diablo III. The fights are fun, especially against the big mobs like Chimeras, Cyclops, Ogres, etc. Haven't seen a Dragon yet. They could have made a much simpler way to control the Pawns actions, tell them to keep a distance and go all out with ranged, or run in and attack the highest HP target in melee, focus on healing/support with mage or etc.

And I deleted all my characters in Diablo III, gave all my items/gold to my brother and cousin who also played the game. Last time I heard, both of them quit the game right after me. I wanted to make sure I had no reason to ever go back to Diablo III.

And I heard Blizzard is gonna be nerfing Inferno with the 1.03 patch. Act 1 inferno will have a chance to drop item level 63 gear, which is the highest tier of equipment. This will make availability on some of the better equipment higher, and also cheaper at the AH. And damage mobs do in acts 2 through 4 is going to be nerfed. In act 1 inferno I was still finding level 51 items, when you have to be level 60 to even enter, its kinda dumb. Even in act 4 you can still find level 54 items.

Well that was always a prevalent feature in all of the Diablo games. I can't count the number of times I'd get a set of keys in a special chest or dropped off a boss in hell difficulty.

Is Dragons Dogma coming to the PC?

  3. ok, this is off topic, but i just dont understand it,

ive heard countless times when people get frustrated with a game, they uninstall it. Vindekarr with D3. people on YT that im subbed to did so with BF3 when it came out. people did so with SWTOR. like are you so offended by the game that you cant have it on your computer? are you soo hurting for room on your HDD that you cant afford to have a game on there you dont play? im just confused. cause even still, many of the people who have uninstalled a game for whatever reason, usually end up reinstalling it to try again at a later date. sometimes they install/uninstall multiple times...idk. even if i dont like a game, i dont uninstall it from my computer. its not like the game knows. its not like im saying "so there game. you are no longer on my computer. how does that make you feel?" it doesnt affect the game any. the Devs/Publishers dont know if its not installed. you already bought it. thats all they know. and as long as you arent on their servers, they have no idea if you have the game installed and arent playing it, or if you dont have it installed and arent playing it.

im just not sure im clear on the rationality behind it, as ive seen a good number of people do such a thing. like its the ultimate thing to do when your frustrated by a game. the end all be all....its more like, you uninstall it so your not tempted to play it again? i think that might be a plausible answer to my question as well. idk. maybe someone can PM me the rational behind it. i dont mean to change the subject of the thread of hijack it. but with another example of this sitting right there, im just curious. also, i mean no offense. i could care less that you do it, i was just wondering why so many people do it? :P

What's so hard not to understand why? If you're not going to play it anymore, why have it on your computer?

  4.

btw is anyone know a dual wield weapon system in here?

    kinda need it :D

DMC Stylish has a dual wield addon http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/16459

err, that's only the animation (after reading the description CMIIW)

need the the system though, so I could dual wield vanilla weapon :D

This is an actual working dw system: Unnecessary Violence II and its predecessor: UV1.

I personally found UV2 a bit buggy and use UV1 myself. Both mods are a little buggy on some features, but I usually just use the DW part of it. I may give UV2 a try again soon. But anyways, look into those for a very nice dual wield system.

  5. Well, I'm actually okay with the server instability because that won't last forever. I pre-ordered D2 and when it went live server instability was seen with that game as well. It eventually got worked out. No, my biggest concern is the gameplay itself, and you've pretty much got that covered. And honestly, I don't see a class that really appeals to me all that much. Oh well.
  6. I'm still not signing up until they give me my spined rancor pet from SWG! >:(

Um... you do realize that Bioware didn't make SWG, right?

Also, this looks interesting. I really wanted to move some characters over. I stopped subscribing partially because my roommate unsubscribed (we would play together a lot), and I just got too busy with school.

Uh, yeah, both of which were partnered/licensed with Lucas, LTD., also who pretty much claims ownship on everything related to Star Wars.

  7. “Go for the eyes Boo! Go for the eyes!!” Minsc, Baldur's Gate2.

"The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures.... You are the battleground...and if you fail...that shall herald the darkness to come." - KOTOR2 (some parts within the quote are left out).

  8. Not really lame considering that the assassins way is to keep everything neutral and since the british were a very strong power back then, helping the colonies would have been a step to bringing balance to world powers again. So really, to answer your topic question, the assassins fight for balance, not for one particular party or the other.

On a side note, take my opinion with a grain of salt; I've been out of the AC loop for awhile now having only played AC1. Never got a chance to play 2 or the subsequent others.

  9. But you also have to realize that Oblivion was probably much the same way when it first came out too. I wasn't here when it happened since I bought the game and joined the modding scene in '08, but I know there was a LOT of legwork completed before a lot of the good mods even came out. Perhaps Skyrim is the same way, no?
  10. Hello recently i just bought Elder Scrolls Oblivian GOTY Deluxe Edition from steam and im looking for mod & texture pack that can help improve Oblivian graphic

Reason i make new thread is... the number of mod & texture pack is too damn high! Its really hard for me to search all this awesome mod xD

So here i am looking for help and suggestion on what is the best HD texture pack and mod?

Of course mod that also help improve weapon, armor, npc graphic

Oh and..... no nude mod =_=

QTP3, bomrets high res normals. If you want overkill then get lush and gaudy flora or what was that mod called XD

Insanitysorrows high Res armor & weapon compilation from tesalliance.

For PC and npc graphics: hgec/uff, Roberts male / amb (these have underwear versions too so not a nude mod really)

    My examples.

Don't forget the creature packs from the same author as QTP3
