Seriously, since Tannin moved on your engagement with the userbase has fallen off a cliff.

Is this by design?

 

Right now, given the absolute paucity of any kind of detail I'm going to pass on Vortex updates. If this is your new direction of no communication, then it may be time to rethink using it in the future.

If you make updates to code then tell people what you've done. it ain't hard to do, its just lazy that it isn't done.

Oh this is joyous.

After firing it up, seeing the weak excuse for a change log, I close Vortex, thinking that I'll pass on this detail-lite update. However, closing Vortex I then get a nice popup which then tells me that Its going to be updated.

That is completely snide.

Might be too late now. But for the future:

Go into Settings, Vortex tab, Update section, change the dropdown to 'No automatic updates'

 

You will still most likely be informed of updates but they should not be forced upon you.

sorry but that "solution" is not good. may as well not even bother mentioning it in the tool if this is how its going to be.

I agree with @1ae0bfb8. One of the best things about this forum was that Tannin actually participated. I don't even know who the new lead is, as they never post. It's disappointing.

 

The change log thread should be pinned here, like it used to be.
