I'm stuck in the back of the house with 3 bars average (wifi link)

I could rewire the place , but my old lady don't like change.

Why is my comp in the back away from her wifi hub plethora ?

I never use wi-fi. Too many security issues. Only my smartphone connects to the modem-router wireless for its signal, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use it.

 

There ain't such a thing as a 'gaming router'. There's fast routers and very fast routers that are sold as 'gaming' routers to make you feel you've bought something special. I've been using a 16-ports TP-Link Fast Ethernet Switch for ages (SF 1016DS) and everything I have that can be connected hangs on it and the TP-Link in turn is connected to the Belgacom Proximus B-Box 3V+ Internet/Digital TV hub. Belgacom Proximus being the Internet Provider that owns Scarlet, where I have my Trio subscription (Internet, Digital TV and landline). Fourty bucks a month for 50MB down- and 7MB uplink with more TV and radio channels than I could watch or listen to. I pay eight bucks a month extra for the smartphone simcard with 150 minutes and 500 sms free per month. Only 4GB a month download but I never use my phone for the Internet.

 

Can't remember how fast the TP-Link switch is, but it's fast enough. It doesn't divide my bandwidth across its 16 ports but gives full speed on each. Which is nice as it doesn't hamper my Internet connection when watching a full HD TV channel.

Well i need more mod ideas so i can hit that 250 mods record, but without errors or conflicts.

Got 761 mods in Skyrim SE (394 plugins) and 664 in Fallout 4 (457 plugins) and both games work like a charm.

Coming from the Guy who can't get em all working yet, you could see another CTD. But then; you see allot of CTD's.

 

And you know why?

 

You just don't take the time to read all the mod's READ ME and don't pay attention to the fact lighting mods all do the same thing only better. And that last Save Game you loaded up wasn't a CLEAN SAVE from your last game play after you added another light bulb mod. You're just as testy as a newborn with a new toy. Which is fine! As long as you do your job at work without causing any problems. At home you're a baby with a new towy, all the time, when you're not working for a living, taking what they're giving.

 

And the mods crumbs left behind after you remove an esp and a bsa, leave files the Data/Meshes or textures or sounds/ or all the other folders that don't get reported as causing any problems. They don't unless you use a cleaner after you install and uninstall every time you change your games diapers, because the meshes, textures especially have many copies of another of the Games mods meshes and textures, and so many Identical files to the games main esm and it's DLC's they overload the machines RAM and GPU VRAM causing the new baby game whose diaper you changed, but forgot to wipe the baby bottom clean before you started a new baby games and oh My you stinker you CTDied again!

I only use Obsidian weather and cathedral, sense there is a patch so they run nice together.
