People expect that everything immediately is being perfect. o_O

Alright, you have problems downloading with IE. So why not using a way better and nicer browser the time being? Or have a little patience. I'm sure this is getting fixed sooner or later.

Get a Firefox here :whistling:

@Dark0ne

I can't open the Tracking Center and the Downloading History on NewVegasNexus atm. After trying to open them, i need to delete the cookie, to use the NewVegasNexus again.

On FO3Nexus it works.

I do like the idea of trying to optimize the site, but this new design doesn't feel right. I can understand the desire to modernize it, but the old design felt much better. Easier to use, it was formatted better, and everything was clearly labeled and could be understood quickly. Space doesn't seem like it's utilized well in the new design, and just feels inconvenient. Believe me, I do appreciate the fact that the nexus staff has tried to modify the site for the better, but I really think there should have been more consent with the users before changing. A poll, perhaps, determining the design? Or, an option to switch between site designs, which I personally feel would be best. Just sharing my thoughts here.

Believe me, I appreciate your hard work Dark0ne. It's not an easy task managing sites like the Fallout Nexus, on top of the other nexus sites. I don't mean to insult you in any way, I hope you don't feel I did. I'll wait it out though, hopefully over time issues can be fixed and the site will become better.

I never liked this new design but I realize I'll have to deal with it, since we won't be seeing the old one ever again.

However, there's only two things I'd like to suggest. First and foremost oh god, please, fix the non-scaling layout. Looking at Nexus with a phone or a smallish laptop is fine, but with anything bigger than that, it's just way too much wasted space. =\ Nexus looks awful on my TV. Secondly, please bring back the grid view of files. You could see so many at any given time. Now it's just... You can only see like ten or so files... Not good at all.

Getting those two problems fixed would make browsing Nexus so much better!

TheOblivionCrew1 here expressed everything just like I feel! I appreciate the hard work, and realize that it's for the better, but there's still problems and also the poll would have been nice.

Well like a lot of other people I'm not really happy with the new design either but I'll get used to it. Like everyone else as well. And just like Dark0ne wrote this new design is a starting place so it will get better. :smile:

But still thank you for all the hard work and time you put while working on this.

I've taken some on board and changes are in the pipeline. Colours, for instance, can be modified. Text on the icons.

Definitely glad to hear that.

Now that I've used it a bit, I can say I don't like the thing that's taken the place of the download pop-up. It's way too small and can't be resized. I'd rather have the pop-up again, tbh.

I miss grid view as well. Sometimes there's nothing for it but to scroll through 100 mods trying to find the right one and that's become more painful now.

As critical as many of us have been, including myself, i don't think the sentence "thanks for nothing" should ever be said or even considered. I may not be so hot on the new design but it is still the best mod site out there hands down. I used to be a hardcore console player until i discovered this site and saw all the insane mods here and i became so damn jealous i couldn't use them with my 360 that i've invested thousands of dollars into getting a decent gaming PC. So @Dark0ne, thanks for everything because i never would have gotten involved with PC gaming at all if the Nexus wasn't around. Your sites have provided an avenue for me to beautify and make some of my favorite games of all-time infinitely more fun which i find priceless. Thanks for all your hard work.
