I'm downloading some mods, but I'm not going to even waste my time playing with Bethesda's ultra-shitty interface
Mistle24 wrote: Yeah I looked at the SE and was like "Nope, I need my mods" I just can't play with out them now.

Also if I remember reading right, the Devs of SkyUI said they weren't planing on doing it anymore because they moved away from playing and don't have time.
JerichoCAL wrote: Play it anyways. I've gotten really far without mods and when a script extender is put out, it'll make me appreciate mods even more.

The funny thing is, I forgot this mods, so ty for saying that.
Hm, I can say f*ck CBBE but I need my Sky UI damn. D:
argonskelton wrote: I'm sure someone will take the reigns on porting SkyUI, as long as the original Devs give permission to. I feel it's too much of a necessary mod for someone not to port it.

BlueAngelson wrote: I tried a mod from here but didn't work. Guessing it's not updated yet for new one. I just don't want to mess anything up with my games data. So this thing isn't to help use Nexus mods? Just for guys that want to make mods? Hopefully someone does a youtube vid to be safe lol.
BlueGunk wrote: SkyUI might be out for the count, but plain Caliente's CBBE and Bodyslide will work fine. I am using them in game right now. Caliente is currently working on the CBBE SE version, too. Should be up soon.

Sadly, unless XP and Groovetama release an update of their skeleton, BBP / TBBP/ HDT is out of scope (unless we get a rival skeleton! )

Like all of us, I am (ahem...patiently...) waiting for the upgraded SKSE which is being worked on, but may be a couple of months yet.

I used CBBE from the start but I decided to use UNP in SSE and it's not bad. I used in the earlier versions of the Fallout series and am use to it.

Fixed by myself - uninstalled&reinstalled the entire Skyrim SE, now it works. May be it was kind of a file corruption somewhere.

Sorry to interject here, but when you do start getting into modding, I'd recommend using USSEP (Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch) as a base for all of your mods. That way, you can be sure that USSEP's bug fixes don't get undone because your mod was built for a "vanilla" SE. And really, since SE includes the dlcs, there's no reason for people not to use USSEP. That is, unless you plan on having your mods available on PS4, where USSEP isn't allowed.
TLDR: Unless you really want to include PS4 players, build your mods off of USSEP so they're of the utmost quality.

Buy a PC, install the FREE copy of the new CK and design you your mods. This whole console player annoying and trolling PC modders on Nexus is starting to wind up again. Just like it did when Beth first put that broken excise of a site up.

For the last time: WHAT YOU ARE REQUESTING IS BOTH ILLEGAL AND CYBER HARASSMENT. Per Nexus, Steam, and Bethesda's new forum/policies IT IS ILLEGAL TO UPLOAD ANY MODDED CONTENT OF WHICH YOU ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL MOD AUTHOR. IT IS ALSO THEREFORE ILLEGAL TO REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE PORT SAID MOD(S) TO THE NEW BETHESDA FORURM.

Either of these actions will most likely earn you a forum ban from not only Nexus and Bethesda but Steam as well Because your Steam account is now back linked to the new Bethesda site. That was done to prohibit mod theft. Which you seem so intent on promoting. Edited by AlarictheVisgoth

You people assume because it is Bethesda they will not pull dirty tricks to gain money. Remember subscription for ESO? How about the paid mod program? Then there was this game. There was no backwards compatibility and charge for the 2k dlc. 60 bucks to play on console. For what? s#*! we have played for years.

Your antivirus is junk because it did not pick up that Bethesda was digging to deep into your system. Places they need not be. I contacted my my provider and a few hrs later tried again. It installed without admin rights, I did not have to give it special permission. It did not screw up anything like drivers on my system and I have no issues. Ran a scan and there are no viruses or malware. Can you say the same? Oh, that is right, yours did not pick it up the first time. lol

You must be using an AV with a LOT of False Positives then.

I use Kaspersky and it didn't complain at all

What anti-virus program are you using, Avast or AVG?

Because 99.9% of people who claim that EVERYTHING is a virus, use one of the two Anti-Virus programs I mentioned.
Aragingmonk wrote: I use avast and it did pick up the win 32 files in this launcher. I reported it to avast, because the launcher would not let run it in a sandbox. A few hrs later I came back and tried the install a second time. It went in with no issues.

I do not claim everything is a virus and Avast did not make that claim either it flagged it as potential. With the number of companies harvesting and selling data I would rather have a false positive to deal with then find out to late.
(edit) Installed Steam, Uplay, and Origin on this machine and Avast was silent. Not one alert. Thx

That may trigger an antivirus when they start digging through your system.

As someone who is studying and working in the field of cyber security, i can safely say that the statement of "1 in 14 downloads contain malware" Is so insanely misleading that it hurts. If we include the scope of every file on the entirety of the internet, including torrents and other such shadier things then i MIGHT be able to agree with the idea that 1 in 14 downloads contain malware.

Also if you do plan to use a AV then use one that is well maintained. Avast is a good example of one that is not. If you honestly want to keep your self safe then you would be much better served with common sense, a script blocker and a well maintained and updated web browser.

Also Fear mongering, and that is in fact what you are doing here. By stating your antivirus "went nuts three times" is a awful practice and you should feel ashamed. If you honestly feel that malware of some form was detected then please for the love of god state what AV you are using and what kind of flag was thrown when you make these claims. That way others know what to look out for and you wont just make the more jumpy people too scared to touch anything.

Half my of life i have had to deal with the side effects of people like you who make sweeping claims like this and terrify people into having bad practices. So please stop, you are not helping anyone. If you want to help then make a proper report to your AV maintainer.

no antivirus has ever worked as well as my paying attention to what i download they only cause problems installing useuless software and some cause rootkits to install that cause more harm than good you are better off without it
