I thought about something with the Wolf Armor.

It would be cool if that somehow could be incorporated, maybe make it a part of a long quest chain to make your wolf stronger.

With the CK out, it should be possible to make the werewolf form calculate armor from items. If the Wolf Armor would be unique in that regard, maybe if a skilled editor could apply the armor ON the wolf form or something.

 

Just a thought, I dont know if it would break immersion though.

The alternative is giving the wolf armor some set bonuses (hidden, not enchantments) while you have the blood of the beast in your veins.

Like more unarmed damage, life and life regen, you know, mythical beast things...

thats why only the 9 companions use it (or can, farkas and aela don't use it)

I've tought about a little story over the night and I tought I should share it with you guys.Like a werewolf questline.A hunter named Ignar is looking for a partner to hunt some Deer and Elk outside Whiterun city.He takes you to his favourte hunting spot,but its already getting dark,so you set up a camp.During the night,you wake up hearing Ignar's scream who is brutally attacked by a werewolf,just like in here : http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111116005056/elderscrolls/images/thumb/0/05/Werewolf_Attack.jpg/830px-Werewolf_Attack.jpg

Then,you get up and you start to attack the beast wich you don't manage to kill,but instead you get infected with lycanthropia,before you pass out,you manage to crawl over to Ignar,who is dead.Next day you wake up at Whiterun's Temple of Kynareth (or something like that),already feeling almost like nothing happened.All the priets are calling it a miracle.(lycanthropia helps the infected heal very fast compared to normal people).I think the stats of increased Strength and anyhing else should be something like "Stamina recovers 100% faster" and the cause should be unknown,and during nights messages should appear like the ones in Curse of Hircine (Yes,I played it and its awesome),like "Your blood boils in your veins and you feel a strange attration to the Moon".And then 3 days after "Suddenly,you feel that strange effects again,becoming more powerfull,overtaking you body,your muscles start tensing,your hair seems more dense,and your drenched in sweat,however you manage to resist it,and keep going" (<--- that's when stats appear like increased Stamina recovery,more Strength,more Stamina,yes,recovery AND more stamina,you guys decide however).After that all people would start making comments about you like the ones when your a Vampire,or maybe even more.After 3 more days this message should appear."This time you realise something is definitly wrong,you fall to the ground,you start feeling great pain all over your body,fur comes out,claws start coming out of your fingers,your face is deforming,your muscles hurt,your voice starts deforming,your senses become extremely sharper,a tail is coming out,it is done,you are a Werewolf".Pretty dramatic eh?Invented it myself.Tell me what you think and PLEASE add anything you think would make it better.

I think they thought about that already in a dramatic way and they probably don't want to spoil it.

Talking about the construction kit that will be released this month, can anyone tell me if is possible to learn something to help? at least something basic 'cause i really want to give my help.

 

After the whole thing is done i will ask your help for another idea (always talking about the werebear) for another fast but intense quest after healing some of the companions (and maybe yourself) from the lycanthropy.

Happy New Year’s everyone!!!

 

So yeah… I finally had time to track this MOD down again… You guys have done a lot, good job.

 

I was reading that you were doing the whole good/bad feral/tame thing… I like it…

 

However I had a thought that could add some spice to the “I’m only going to be a good werewolf” problem.

What if you did not feed on your last Werewolf transformation your blood thirst this time would blind you to what is really there… so you see a deer and think that’s a safe bet and you kill it and feed on it. However after feeding you find that you just munched on some random person or persons.

 

The way I see this working would be to make a script that upon transformation would temporarily replace some random nonessential NPCs meshes near the Player with that of a Deer or Wolves.

 

This could make it feel like the blood thirst was too great to control or something.

 

Anyway... just my thoughts.

I know most here are against werewolves with armor or able to carry anything for that matter (I am impartial as long as they don’t suck anymore) anyway… I found this pic awhile back that more or less looks that way I think a werewolf should look… if you ignore the armor and the sword…
