No, I'm not sure how long the chunks "hang around" for, but the partial file will remain for a while. You'll need to rename your new upload in this case. I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate forum as it's not Vortex related.

We are reviewing our membership system sometime this year. I'm not sure if Ideal will be considered (I've never heard of it) but we will be looking at improving the options. This is something we have discussed but it's more technically challenging than it sounds. It's on the radar for when we revise our search/blocking tools.

Yes changing the file name for each upload is a good solution. If the filename matches any partial files that are on the server the uploader assumes you are trying to resume a failed upload.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure. Technically it is searching users, just not all users.

CDN is the default for all users and mod managers, it's a preference that only Premium users can change too.

Did you not read my response? It was changed because we intended to replace the current author search with a proper user search at some point. The header has been designed with this in mind.

Can you try again now? It's possible there was some weirdness in uploader cache when you attempted this. I've hidden your page while it has no files on it.

When our previous designer updated the nav it was called "Users" because eventually that's what it will do. At the moment the members database is simply too big for the current (forum) search to be able to process it efficiently. At some stage we will have a custom built user search but for now it's not possible.

It's possible they're being automatically routed to one of the US servers (I believe most of Asia is). Seems in your case the Europe servers are better. If we get reports from other users in Vietnam we may need to update the rules for non-Premium users.

I'm not really sure what would cause it not to work, did you check the mods you're still seeing actually have the ReShade tag? If they don't, they won't be blocked.

Thanks for posting the details. Unfortunately it seems like there is a routing problem between both our EU and US servers from you location. Are you able to try using a VPN? It looks like the Singapore server would work for you, but that does require a Premium membership.

Looking at the trace log the connection is slowing down somewhere between SIngapore and Mumbai. This may be a temporary issue due to a bad route. We've seen issues with Malaysian connections before, but those users had a good connection to Miami/Chicago and a bad connection to LA.

Interesting, I haven't changed anything yet. I guess I'll leave it for now then.

Hi williamqian28, Thanks for providing the info. Can you please try the Premuim SIngapore test too if you get a chance? As your speed is bad for all the CDN nodes I'm afraid it looks like there's some kind of problem between your PC and our servers. If you have a VPN, could you try using that to start a download?
