  1. Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately I havent been able to work on the mod since school started.

But finaly after a few weeks of battling through piles of homework. i have earned myself some free time, which i will use to finish and upload this mod

So stick around guys, i havent given up :P

Wait did I hear that right? is this mod about to be uploaded soon?

Oh my god. *dies in anticipation*

  2. I personally feel it was one of the few worthwhile perks in vanilla skyrim, and I am currently looking for the exact opposite as SkyRe removes this advantage, and I feel it makes vampires almost unplayable, considering how week they were to begin with and how overpowered SkyRe makes everything else.

just look at the title. "Necromage" - I mage that specializes in the undead. If you are undead, then that means everything you do/use on yourself becomes more powerful, because you can manipulate your body like a corpse, because it essentially is a corpse.

of coarse I use the BS vampire overhaul, which makes it so that vampires aren't healed by healing potions and such, so it SHOULD come out more balanced, but SkyRe had other plans.

  3. To me, it makes logical sense that a necromage vampire would get the effect bonus on himself, but SkyRe fixes this (at least from what I've been told - I'm pretty sure it does) I want to UN fix this, and I'm not sure how to do it and I don't want to just go randomly waking away at SkyRe without knowing what I'm doing, so can someone please give me a suggest as to how to fix this 'fix'? I personally feel this 'fix' makes 'necromage' a totally useless perk.

  4. It was taken down for copyright infringement and/or using items from other mods without the express permission of the modder who created them.

You can still find it on other websites, and you can still find the leveled list edits on nexus, but the mod itself is banned from the nexus.

  5. Proooooooobably a dumb question, but this will clash like two semi trucks in the same lane going in opposite directions on the interstate with SkyRe right? I already have Apocalypse spells. I think I may already have the thunderbolts mod shout too, I have a really good shout overhaul I stumbled across a while back that makes minor changes to every shout that makes them all much more playable without breaking anything or over or under powering anything.

  6. I tend to like to make my male characters as feminine as possible, which, even with some amazing face mods, just isn't possible. If I could somehow use female face parts (lips, nose, eyes) on my character, it would do wonders. I just want to know if there is some simple edit I can make in CK to make this possible? if I figure it out, and it doesn't exist already, I will probably uploaded it, but for now it's just for some personal taste tweaking.

Obviously, if this kind of mod exists already, please point me to it.

Note that pretty much anything that makes me make my male characters more feminine would be much loved. BUT, one that doesn't effect ALL characters, I like the body and face mods i have now for male characters in game; I really like my men big muscly and kinda hairy, I just don't like MY male characters to look like that. I use the joy of perspective as well, so most "body workarounds" are out of the question, but if there is any way I can actually create my character as female, and have the characters in the game register it as male (or vica-versa) that would work PERFECTLY as well.

This may not be the best place for this thread, but if it's doable and doesn't exist, I WILL make this into a mod and upload it, so this seemed like the best place to me.

  7. ME. I've never made a mod, therefor it is physically impossible for any of my mods to be worse then any existing mods. So by extension, if none of mine are worse then any existing mod, by default mine must be the best. I win.

If I really had to pick, I couldn't say a single MODDER is best, but the single BEST MOD for skyrim is without a doubt Frostfall. What it adds to the game flows so perfectly and easily with the rest of the game, it makes huge changes that effect everything about how you play the game, while still being discreet, un-annoying, and realistic. It makes skyrim itself feel like an enemy, and truly brings skyrim to life in a way no other mod does. When combine with "wet and cold" and the footprints in the snow mod it adds so much depth it's amazing. I really wish those two owners would allow their mods to be included in frostfall, if they haven't already.

Other mods like SkyRe and are amazing, but it's just to easy to find faults in them. I am insanely picky, and I have never once found a fault with frostfall I couldn't fix in 2 clicks in the SkyUI mod screen.

EDIT: Also, the mod that removes the zombie "UUuGhghghhhgdhskhsadfas jfd4rt4t9ji jk" every 5 seconds. I seriously stopped playing skyrim on the PS3 because my main character was a nercomancer and that sound drove me CRAZY. I always had two zombie followers and every 5 seconds "UUuUuUUuuuUuUuugghgghG GHg ghg hhghjhdjkshdkjaj LOIUuuuuu yUYUugguuuhhjj44444444444444444". Oh, and the one that removes the PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING PING from the health spell. Seriously vanilla skyrims makes some f-----g annoying noises.

  8. Only input I can give on this is I have had UFO corrupt more save files then any other mod I've downloaded (and I've downloaded hundreds) Usually happens when you change your load order to much, try to uninstall it, or do something wonky in game with it. Maybe I just had bad luck with it, but I still wouldn't suggest it to anyone unless they were really careful and installing it and all other mods before starting any characters, I got lucky and only lost one character with more then 30 hours of play time, all the others where back up saves and characters with less then 5 hours.

I have tried AFT before, and I think I am going to go with it again, it;s really the only follower mod I have come across that is worth the time and effort.

  9. I'm looking for two mods.

one; that lets me add any NPC (even mod added ones) as a follower, and eventually marry them if I so choose. (the vanilla marriage chooses are all awful.... seriously, it's like they picked some of the worst most bland character sin the game. And they completely neglected khajiits, which are my personal favorites! I have tried ufo for the followers mod, but after loosing three different save files to corruption from it, I gave up on trying to get it to work. And the fact that it made my followers glitch out and walk around naked half the time wasn't exactly desirable either. I really don't care about having tons of options I will never need, if I can make them follow me, live with me, and/or marry me, that's great. EDIT I just downloaded AFT, but I don't think that does what I want for marriage.

two; that removes ALL forced third person perspective from the game. I am getting my skyrim ready for my Oculus Rift, and I do NOT want to magically go third person mod when I get knocked down and rotate around my body like my souls been knocked or something. I already use Joy of Perspective, and it does wonders, but still doesn't do everything I want.

    EDIT:
make that three; I am looking for a mod (or a simple CK edit I can do myself) that lets me use a female character and have the game/NPCs register it as male, or to use female facial features on a male character, without replacing the male facial features and making all the men in my game look like girls.</p>

  10. There are a few mods out there which add in bikini armor for CBBE. Most of them modify existing armors (like steal, iron, leather, etc) but you can pick and choose which ones to install. Trying searching 'cbbe' in the nexus mod files, and modify the search to show 'most endorsed first', there are many different 'armor overhaul' mods to choose from with many different armos in each, surely one of the armors in one of these mods is close to what you are looking for.

  11. I would love to see Deidara's eye piece.

Some Kimimaro items would be awesome as well.

I would also like to see a hair pack, a spikey hair for naruto/pain, deidera's hair, sasukes hair, kakashi's hair, etc.

Anything for pain is awesome, I eventually would like to try and make pain in skyrim, and I am already very close, the only thing I am really missing is the hair.

  12. Hello all, frustrated searcher here.

I'm looking for a CBBE Armor tweak that does for Dawnguard (And Dragonborn, if possible) what http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12273 does for Vanilla. I assume there's -something- in place for Dawnguard at least, considering that it's been out awhile and CBBE stuff is incredibly popular (and often produced by people other than Caliente). I'm just minorly annoyed that my busty Dunmer isn't sporting a larger cup size in her Vampire Armor.

    This?

  13. I have windows 7 64 bit premium, and a lot of common glitches people report in games never happened to me, the only issue I've ever had was bioshock not having sound, and all I had to do was run it in the right compatibility mod.

I can say this though, some graphics cards don't like ENBs, despite the fact that my graphics card can run the best games on the market on the highest settings (metro 2033 gets an even 60 FPS on even the most intense moments on ultra-high)

As to where to start, no where, any where, doesn't matter, all ENBs vary from computer to computer, one may look one way for one and work great for it, and it may look horrible for another. Really all you can do is try all many of them as you can, until you come across one you can't bare to uninstall.

As for 'HD mods'.... well there is no simple 'HD mods', there are HD texture replacer mods, and I have installed over 70 of these in my game, and still occasionally come across some very low-def things in my game. The best ones to start with however are...

  14. I have been 2 miles into a coal mine when there was a power failure. - It doesn't get any darker. There is a very good reason miners wear hats with a light on them. Then carry another light source too.True underground is dark, not the dark you are used to, but the underside of a rock dark. So dark that light is a distant memory. There is NO light seeping in through a crack under the door, No dim starlight showing through clouds - and you really aren't sure if you still have a nose. Putting your hand in front of your face doesn't matter (actually you feel the heat from your hand) Your other senses start to be far more important. Sounds that you never noticed before seem loud. You breathing and heartbeat become noticeable. Every slight breeze is instantly felt. After a while, you will know when someone else is near because you can feel the heat from their body and hear them breathe at 20 feet. Of course, that is reality and there is not yet a way to simulate any of that.

In the vanilla caves you really don't need a torch most of the time - although it does help when searching for chests and stuff. There are plenty of portable light sources in the game - light spells, rings of light, torches, and night vision. And mods that allow lanterns or candles. There may be some luminescent stuff - those glowing jellyfish looking fungus found in Falmer caves, but the light from them is dim on purpose. Maybe you could find a way to have the player take one of those - or even put several in a jar. Or take a torch bug in a jar .

Go ahead and make it as dark as you want - don't pay any attention to the wimps that are too lazy to carry their own light source. Or, if you want, put in some of the luminescent fungus in some places. Or have the walls glow with a magical light. It's your mod, make it the way you want it.

There is a mod that already lets you put a torchbug in a jar, though I like the idea of adding glowing mushrooms to that xD

  15. I'm not 100% sure how these sorts of things work, but my personal thought would be to take the desired weapon based spell and pick another random passive spell (like +10 Health) to picky back it on, combining them into one spell, doing it this way the game tends to be more willing to accept 'incorrectly placed' enchantments. I tried something like this once giving a boost to fire damage when I player equipped a certain mechanical arm type thing. I never got it to work right, but I'm a dweeb at modding, but I felt like I was on to something.
  16. I've narrowed my ENB problems down to this one extremely game breaking issue. This screenshot is taken with 'hardcore dungeon' mode on, some additional 'extra darkness' tweaks (that worked very well for normal night time) and in game darkness turned ALL THE WAY DOWN TO ZERO. I have made a good number of tweaks to this ENB, including replacing the enbpallet with one from another ENB (the one in seasons of skyrim made shadows invert colors, this was the ONLY change that had any effect on this, and this issue existed BEFORE I made this change.) I am also using CoT, if that means anything. Other then that, NONE of my many other mods should have any effect on this, as I try to keep mods that effect lighting to a minimum, as I have HORRIBLE luck with lighting mods.

This picture is actually a very very mild one, at some times, over 35% of the screen will be solid white. It's totally baffling to me as to why this only exists in dungeons and tombs, taverns, stores, outdoors day, and outdoors night are PERFECT, but then... this.It should be almost pitch black in this screenshot, yet.... well, yeah. It's not.

  17. I cant find a single ENB in existence that actually delivers truly dark dungeons and doesn't completely screw things up. I downloaded one that was suppose to be 'ultra hardcore' yet despite turning in game lighting all the way down, and shadow effects up, it was still significantly brighter then vanilla skyrim, to the point that going outside during the day time in thw snow as a vampire(which makes sunlight brighter with one of my mods) was a relief to my eyes. I had installed another similar one before that made all colors HORRIDLY inverted and blue shifted in dungeons so you simply couldn't make out anything that was going on onscreen, it was like watching a monotone cartoon while tripping acid or something.

So yeah, in theory I like darker dungeons, but I've never actually been able to see for myself just how fun it would be to not be able to see your nose in front of your face. I've just given up on ENBs, every single one of them in existence has a horrible game breaking visual glitch at some point or another, such as moons ten times as bright as my sun, colors inverting and blue shifting if it gets slightly dark whatsoever, fog making it impossible to see more then 2 inches in front of you during the day, fogging making bright white bands across the middle of my screen at night, bright white skies at 11:30 at night that miraculously turn normal colored at midnight, bright green water that turns completely invisible randomly, every color onscreen flickering violently between normal and inverted to the point it's seizure inducing. Seriously, either my computer hates ENBs, or everyone else out there is totally flippin crazy for putting up with the glitches they cause. I've had more glitches and corrupted saves from ENBs alone then every other mod put together. But then again, I do like to tweak mine like crazy, but most of them have the 'blacks are inverted' glitch out of the box, and I can't simply ignore my character having luminescent chromatic black and white hair.

I've had a bad week for ENBs, forgive my rant.
