Scrap Everything doesn't do the ini edit any more. (at least, not the version I am using, it might be an option in the installer though....) It DOES remove previs/precombines in settlement areas though. In places like Hangmans Alley, that may be a problem, but, I don't know, as I never do anything there anyway. But even so, I am thinkin' that dead raiders are not a part of previs/precombines in any event.... They were random patrols (added by PANPC I suspect). So, why I can't scrap/select them in the console, is still a mystery to me. :D

Apparently, in America, we would rather you beat us up. :D Extreme violence in games seems easily accepted by most, but, show a little nipple? The torch and pitchfork crowd come out in force.......

Interesting semantic gymnastics there. Letters make up words. Words represent concepts. (in this instance) Some folks take issue with those concepts. You are correct though, not everyone will agree. I am sure the folks running the communist party in China would find the very notion someone would post this question as offensive. So far as they are concerned, communism is the next best thing since sliced bread. And yep, word meaning/usage changes over time. Folks adopt words, and use them for their own purposes. Take "lame" for instance. It originally meant difficulty, or inability to walk. However, it was usurped by some folks, and is now used as a denigrating term for anything they don't like/find distasteful. Whether it was ever able to walk, or not..... :D

I actually like dell...... :) And I work in the industry. (PC repair) They tend to install bloatware on their machines, but, not nearly so much as some of the others. (I'm looking at YOU Lenovo, and Toshiba.....) Of course, most of the stuff I deal with is older..... so there is that. Alienware, on the other hand, is indeed severely over-priced..... you are paying for a name, that's it. The hardest part to find these days, is indeed Video cards. They are almost impossible to find, and hideously expensive when you do.

I think the biggest problem would be getting the mod from Bethnet, onto a computer that has the game, and CK installed. If you could manage that, then converting should be pretty straightforward. Bear in mind though, that actually uploading such mods to nexus requires you have permission to do so. If you don't have permission, you can't do it, and Nexus will enforce that rule.

Use a mod manager to install mods. Vortex automagically sorts your mods, NMM and MO2 both incorporate LOOT to sort mods. Makes your life a LOT easier. :D

Yeah, I have this problem as well. Some vines I simply cannot scrap, or even select in the console. Even though all the other vines, RIGHT NEXT TO IT, I am able to dispose of...... Same with corpses. It seems the game doesn't wanna clean up the dead around starlight drive-in for me, so every now and again, I will go thru and scrap them, if I can, disable them if I cannot. But, some of them, I simply cannot select, and I have no idea why. (can't select to either scrap, or in the console....)

I've used F4SE since I first got the game, and I have zero issues with it. In and of itself, it doesn't do anything at all. It simply adds functionality to the scripting engine. Poorly written scripts will most certainly bork your game.

Really? How so? (about the topic title) Seems to me, that here in the US, "communist" is indeed used as an insulting term. Label something 'communist', or even 'socialist', and it immediately lends negative connotations...... And why is that? Simply because..... communism on a large scale simply does not work.

You will likely still have to reinstall your mods, simply due to the way NMM works. The other possibility is, that moving the installation, will end up with all your mods actually being IN the fallout 4 install directory tree..... From what I have seen/read/experienced, there really isn't a good way to move installations..... I would love to see that kind of functionality added to NMM/Vortex......

Wow, I can find absolutely NOTHING on that.....

I use Pack Attack, NPC Edition. It dramatically alters NPC AI, and makes the game significantly more dangerous. You can also alter the number of spawns that show up, adding a further level of interest. :D Gotta sign up for his site to download though.

Here I thought he wanted a gun that would shoot cats..... (collecting ammo might be fun....) Though I would think a "Cat Grenade" (claw bomb) would be pretty cool. I mean, look what happens when you toss a cat at someone, they get clawed up. :D Animations for it might be a stumbling block though.....

Try using FallRim tools to clean your save. (back it up first....)

Really? Fallout 3??? That's wild. Beth had said they were 'done' with FO3 YEARS ago........ The StarField dev team found all the bugs in StarField so they were twiddling their thumbs. Guess they found some things do do.* Someone has been busy, Oblivion and New Vegas got patches in October to increase the frame rate to 60 on the XBone X and Series X. Oblivion got an update??????? Wow......

Running any mods that alter/affect quest markers? Or markers in general?

Yeah it came out of nowhere and there was no chance of FOSE ever getting updated, luckily modders were able revert it. The patch removed GFWL, something modders had already done back in 2008. Ah, now that actually makes sense. Not that it was needed. :D

Which version of the Parthanax mod? I run one of 'em, and have no troubles with the greybeards. Any other mods that change shouts, or the greybeards?

You are going to need to reinstall your O/S, therefore, you will need to reinstall your games, and everything that goes along with them as well. Installing Steam, and then games, edits the windows registry, reinstalling windows means you are starting with a clean slate, and none of those entries will be there. On the other hand, you could *try* and see if the current windows installation will boot on the new hardware........ It might actually work, but, it is NOT recommended. Tends to lead to "mystery issues" later. :D Best choice: Back up your data, mods, etc, wipe the drive, reinstall windows, reinstall whatever else you need, play. :D It's an exercise, but, it avoids trying to troubleshoot mystery issues later on down the line.
