  1. The site search engine ain't the best, and has it's limitations. The trick is, use google. :D do something like "Dead Money" site=www.nexusmods.com/fallout3 (including the quotes....) And you should get more of the results you are looking for.
  2. There is a mod that removes the affect from the perk..... but, I would like to think if you installed that, you would know. :) Don't know if any other mods remove it as well.....
  3. I would think it would be an easy test. Could you view these shots at work, without anyone mentioning the word 'porn'? If the answer is no, it goes in the adult image share.
  4. In a good, or bad way? :D Yep, NVME is significantly faster than your average SSD, and orders of magnitude faster than any mechanical drive. I put an SSD in my laptop (which I use to talk to my truck) and loved it so much, EVERY machine in the house now runs on an ssd, or NVME drive. :D
  5. Might wanna post in the mods comments, likely get a better response.
  6. Your GPU hitting 80 degrees c at 100% load is pretty normal. At lower loads, temps should be lower as well.
  7. This mod breaks even that lousy excuse for a balance the game has I have another mod that brings vanilla weapons in line with the MF weapons. Also, keep in mind, the weapons are added to leveled lists, so, anyone can have them. Try running into a group of Super Mutants, and two or three of 'em have 20mm chain guns....... :D Kills ya right quick. (as they should.....)
  8. I think it's one of the Tabs in the Data section...... Also could be in the Stats section. I don't remember just off hand.
  9. This is a bad idea. You should never really need to defrag your drives, windows handles that in the background these days, and if it's a solid state drive, attempting to defrag the drive will dramatically shorten its life. The black loading screens *should* be faster than the ones that load the pic, and captions, simply because, it ISN'T loading those. I think there is a mod out there that makes ALL the loading screens black, and supposedly, faster. Why they are slower for the OP is a mystery to me. thank you for the warning about defragging the drive i found similar threads about black loading screens loading way longer than the regular loading screen with text and 3d item, simply google "black loading screen fallout 4" and there will be dozens of topics, unfortunately i wouldnt ask here if any of them helped, the load accelerator does help a little bit with loading but still takes 5+ minutes long especially if it's interior>exterior, im definitely not alone in this, whenever i get that loading screen i just force shut down the game with alt+f4 because it will be faster to just restart it all up again than waiting for the exterior to load That's WAY too long. What type of drive are you using? I have found that the huge (1TB or greater) drives tend to be REALLY slow.......
  10. You are in good company here. :) Do what you need to do to get by. That's all anyone can do.
  11. Check in your active effects, and see if it shows up there.
  12. Have you checked to see how your controls are configured?? I would expect changing control methods mid-game probably doesn't go over well.

  14. I run Modern Firearms, so, there is a WIDE variety of weapons available, from .22 pistols, to .50 caliber anti-material rifles, to 20mm chain guns. :D I generally carry a silenced pistol, a full-auto rifle of some description, and a long-range rifle. The vanilla weapons are laughable when it comes to range though.... I think the converted hunting rifle has a range of under 500, my Russian sniper rifle, (semi-auto) is over 1100...... yet I still encounter targets I can see, but, can't hit. (I run Ugrids at 7.) I think my personal favorite 'room broom' though, was a semi-auto combat shotgun, with the explosive legendary..... Didn't have to hit the target, just get close, and splash damage would kill 'em. I made a '2LM' combat shotgun, with two-shot, (18 pellets, instead of 9) and explosive, and that thing was HIGHLY effective. Of course, at close range, two shots would kill me as well. :D Figgered that one out the hard way, of course. :D
  15. I could tell you that, but, I might be lying. :D I don't know what the save process does to the engine itself, but, if it works, run with it. :D
  16. Screenshots are saved as bitmaps, aren't they??? Might try converting the to JPG, and uploading those?
  17. How much info do you need? "In my mod I used the cellar behind house X. That hatch now leads to a dungeon in a new worldspace." Or "In building X, the third door on the right in the hallway which was boarded up in the vanilla game, now leads to a room I've created." I can't read conflicts in a mod description, because to give away what had been placed where is a spoiler. I thought you had earlier abandoned the use of analogies given how demonstrably bad you are at them. And you just hijacked your own thread. I gave two analogies then realised they were going over everyone's head. I actually spoke to someone today and tried to use an analogy, and she stopped me before I started, and told me she doesn't understand analogies. And no, it's not because of analogies I've used in the past, I've not met her before. if apple made a car, it would drive on the right side of the road, but what would be different would be it would only use apple fuel, you couldn't repair it yourself, and if you tried to, it would shut down and become a brick basically the tesla model. You've hit the nail on the head. And yet the gullible fools keep on buying them. If that's all any mod ever did, then sure, it would work. The problem is, most mods don't just change one tiny little item, they change a whole boatload of stuff. Have you ever opened even one simple mod in the CK? Or FO4Edit, and looked at everything it has changed? THOSE are ALL potential conflicts. I suggest that you educate yourself on mods, how they work, and how they are made, and maybe then, you will understand why your idea is unworkable. Not holding my breath on that though. Might blow a hole in your simplistic world view.
  18. I think you rename the executable, which dictates which game it wants to play with, then it should figure out on it's own where the mods are. Unless you use Mod Organizer 2...... then you need to start it from MO2.
  19. You're so convinced that you are right that you can't accept that other people have thought of this idea, discussed this idea and discarded this idea as unworkable more than fifteen years ago. You are convinced that you are the smart one and everyone else is stupid. It's not your brain that you are thinking with. It's a such a basic simple idea it can't possibly be unworkable. So, you are saying that the developers at Apple are idiots? Of course. They make incompatible stuff. Unfortunately there are a lot of gullible people out there. Your naivete is eclipsed only by your arrogance. Making 'incompatible' stuff is one reason why Apple is a trillion dollar company. Competition doesn't lead to generating supra-normal profits. Building a 'walled garden' ecosystem and providing incentives for users to remain in that ecosystem does. Had you read reasonably widely, you would know this already as it has been written about and discussed on the interwebs abundantly. But regardless, at least the devs at Apple actually build things and solve problems rather than whinging on internet forums about why other people haven't solved their problems for them. They make huge profits from gullible people paying double what the item is worth and not caring that they'll have countless problems down the road. If Apple made a car it would only drive on the wrong side of the road. You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about. There is the rule of One. Only ONE mod can change any given thing. If you have two mods that change the same thing, the one that loads last, wins. Conflict resolution has been a thing on Beth games since Morrowind. (because of the two items in the line above here.) Given the sheer number of mods out there in the world, (keep in mind, nexus is only ONE of many sites that host mods) The database would become unwieldy within 15 minutes of a games release. You would need to list each and every change a given mod made to an area. That can run into the thousands of records. Now, lets use the Sanctuary example here. 350 of them...... the potential for MILLIONS of changes. Trying to track all of that would be absolutely pointless. Very bad case of information overload. Thus, it is up to the END USER to resolve conflicts in THEIR SPECIFIC setup. If the end user doesn't know how to do that, then they need to learn how, or use fewer mods.
  20. Probably a conflict between the mods...... And yeah, the tool is powerful, therefore, somewhat complex. :) I *think* there are tutorials available for conflict resolution with it though.
  21. You're so convinced that you are right that you can't accept that other people have thought of this idea, discussed this idea and discarded this idea as unworkable more than fifteen years ago. You are convinced that you are the smart one and everyone else is stupid. It's not your brain that you are thinking with. Gotta agree with this. This has been an issue since Morrowind. Way back in 2001. If this idea had even been remotely workable, it would have been implemented by now.
  22. That's just weird...... Need to see just which mods are acting on those power armor parts.... FO4Edit should be able to tell you something.
  23. No. Would you prefer there was only one mod editing Sanctuary? Or any other location for that matter? Do a quick search on "sanctuary", there are currently 350 mods that affect the area. Which 349 would you choose to eliminate?
