Is the game aware of what vid card you have? (generally, deleting the ini files in the My Games/Fallout4 folder will force it to re-detect video.) The 3080 should be able to run the game without even putting minor stress on the card...... :) If you aren't running a whole lotta mods.... I might be tempted to have your mod manager uninstall all of them, uninstall the game, make sure all pertinent folders are now gone/empty, then reinstall just the game, and see if things are better.

Is nora's face possible to sculpt without the nora companion mod? Also, simply uninstalling the game does not necessarily remove the mods you installed......

If it is just a single beep, that's the MB telling you it thinks everything is ok. Why it then shuts down is rather curious..... Does it actually shut off, or does it restart?

If you don't have the archives on your computer any more, then yeah, you will have to redownload them, and reinstall. If you actually still have the files you downloaded, just reinstall. (from the mods tab, click the + symbol, add from archive, then point it at the archive you want to install.)

How did you remove the mods?? Was that before, or after you started having troubles?

Did you permanently delete it? Or is it hanging out in your recycle bin?

Just go into the folder where they are stored, and nuke 'em from there. (File Explorer)

I think you would also need to tweak the amount of ammo NPC's had as well though. Most of the time, I am finding less than 10 rounds on folks that use guns. For the folks with automatic weapons, that is essentially one burst...... Not what I would consider 'immersive'.... :D

Look for the associated menu swf file. If you have a mod that changes it, that may be the problem. Simply disabling the mod may not remove the file from loading.... so, you still get the crash.

The alternative is starting a new game..... Do you have any mods that affect that specific area, or any NPC's that happen to be in it? Texture mods? Anything?

Any mods that affect turrets, or NPC ammo?

I do believe Homemaker has what you are looking for.

Those are base game items. You can occasionally find something interesting in them.

Seems to me, it could be done with a script..... But, I wouldn't have the first clue how to accomplish that. I think there are some settings for autosaves though, frequency being one, and how many to rotate thru being another...... I think.

So just bring up task manager, and on the processes tab, click on the CPU Usage column, to sort by that, and see what happens every couple minutes, if anything.

I think MO2 does odd things with ini files....... check settings in there.

Isn't there an ini setting to correct that though?? I seem to remember reading something about that....... (but, be darned if I can find it now....)

FB owns Oculus. That would explain a lot. :) I was not aware of that little tidbit.

Have a second monitor you can plug in? If you do, have task manager running on it, and watch and see what processes are eating the CPU when you get your FPS drops. It's like some other process taking resources away from the game... or, a harddrive that is going bad......

I don't have discord. :) There is a LOT to learn though, best bet is to check out some of the tutorials that are available, text, and video. :D If you have specific questions, just ask them in this forum. Lots of folks willing to help you out. :D

I do believe any of the mod managers will let you do that. Just set up different profiles for each configuration.

Same issue if you start a new game?

In the comment thread for the mod, I found this: No idea if that will actually work for you.... The author is still active, (last logged in Oct 18....) but, the mod hasn't been updated in years. I don't think he is responding in the thread any more either..... Didn't dig too deeply into that though.

Did windows do an update? Or is it currently trying to update in the background? How old is your harddrive the game is installed on? Installed any new software on your machine?

What does Oculus have to do with Facebook??
