  1. Scrap Everything only touches precombines in settlement zones. Regenerating those precombines defeats the entire purpose of scrap everything.
  2. Yeah, then Beth started getting serious about blocking/removing them. :D
  3. What mods are your trying to merge? For my part, I only like to merge mods that are esp only.... That way, I don't have to worry about making sure any additional assets load.
  4. Any chance I you could tell me what you updated? I'm having this problem myself Which mod isn't working?
  5. That's likely a mod. If you have installed some variety of sorting mod, that's likely it.
  6. They don't need to be exactly matched, and the beauty of upgrading the vid card is, if you later decide to upgrade the processor/mainboard, the vid card will still plug into the new board. :)
  7. This. And it is Microsofts policy to NOT allow 'adult' content on their game console.
  8. That would mean no cities. Depends on the scale of resource movement you wanna do. If it is bare minimum, then, everyone lives on a farm, and raises their own necessaries. Somehow, I don't see that happening. :)
  9. I take great pains to make sure I don't have too many open quests at once..... Preston is the biggest contributor though. I got a mod so he will only give you ONE quest at a time.... unfortunately, the way the game works, (or, at least, that particular mod....) If I turn in a quest, he hands me another one.... and it's possible to pick up the settlement quests simply by wandering thru. Another annoyance factor for me is, unless I 'volunteer' to by the Minutemen General, I can't turn in the settlement quests I picked up by accident, to close them out.
  10. Yep. Most certainly doable. As to the 'how' though, that I don't know. Would have to look at an existing mod, and see what records got changed. Or, go poking about the CS, and see if you can find the setting. :D
  11. I would go with a bit meaner vid card, so you don't find yourself needing to upgrade again in the near future...... (more VRAM)
  12. Should be able to tell LOOT where the game is..... I think.....
  13. So which would be easier: Moving resources to where the people need them, or having the people move to where the resources are? Or, maybe, just maybe..... not over-populating an area beyond what its local resources can support??? Wouldn't that be novel?
  14. No traditions at all here. We used to do the costume party every year, but, even that has fallen by the wayside. (most certainly not gonna happen this year.) For the most part, it's just another day. We don't get the kids going door to door out here. There are maybe 5 houses within a mile of me....... so, population density just doesn't support it.
  15. Something is looking for the files, and I have no idea what would be..... If you use a mod manager, will it tell you what masters the file relies on?? See if anything is looking for any cc content......
  16. Does MO2 think your mods are indeed activated? Later versions of NMM did NOT install files directly to the data folder, but, created symbolic links, so it merely looked like they were in the data folder.
  17. Yeah, definitely a new vid card..... The latest and greatest fellers are hideously expensive yet.... and I really don't see a need to blow a thousand dollars on a vid card.... I am running a GTX 1060, 6gb, and it runs FO4 at ultra, and UGrids set to 7. (I tried UGrids 9, but, got screen tearing, and ghosting..... that was on the old processor though, haven't tried pushing it that high with the new build.) So maybe a 2060 with as much ram as you can get one with, I would also consider adding another 8gb RAM as well. :) I think your processor is fine for the moment. Upgrading to a solid state drive makes a HUGE difference in loading times as well. :D
  18. Homemaker has pre-war houses you can build..... Use scrap everything to get rid of the old ones, build new ones. :D
  19. Yes, it is, I have a mod that give me a total of 49 points to play with. It had other options as well. Have a look at this mod, you can either use it, or figger out how they did it, and do it yourself.
  20. This has actually been well and truly debunked using facts and logic but you seem to be rather timid about honestly seeking out and engaging with the best arguments against your own cherished opinions so I'm not surprised that you still think that it's true. But even if it were true, the solution would be fewer people being born, not people dying earlier. Here's a solution to a problem that you can actively contribute to: stop spreading bullsh!t on the internet. It has? Really? When?? I must have missed that. Population (overpopulation..) IS a problem. Just ask the folks in China, or India......
  21. If it is giving you a long list of content that is no longer present, that is indeed a problem. Need to find out WHY the game thinks that is the case. Changing mod managers mid-game really isn't a good idea.... all sorts of voodoo going on in the background with mod managers, and they don't all do things the same way....... If you want to change mod managers, best method is to uninstall all mods with the original manager, uninstall the manager itself, install the new manager, then reinstall your mods.
  22. Don't tag patches as esl, they will load before esp files, and that could truly screw things up. I would be tempted to just nuke the old file, and create a new one with the same name..... That way, there is less danger of 'wrong' edits being retained.
  23. I see those errors in a lot of logs, and I am REAL curious why they show up, when you haven't purchased/installed any CC content...... You don't appear to be running any mods that is dependent on any of it...... Makes me wonder if beth didn't screw something up in one of their 'updates'...... that caused it. I usually just blow away all the cc stuff in my data folder. I don't need it cluttering things up.
