Could you be a bit more specific there? What period of time? What measurements? WHOSE measurements? And quit assigning behavior to me that you simply have no clue about. Did you read what I wrote? Is your bias simply clouding your thinking? Have you been so indoctrinated that you simply can't accept facts that don't jibe with what you have been told you have to believe? C'mon man, use that grey matter between your ears for something more than filler.

Predicting the future now are we? So far, the AGW folks haven't come up with a single prediction that came about. Their climate models are less accurate than the weather man. Which really ain't sayin' much. You do understand that the climate is cyclic, right? It isn't a static system. The climate changes, that is a fact. It really doesn't matter if man is around or not. Are we influencing the climate? Quite likely. Should we destroy our economy NOW, with measures that won't make any difference at all, unless EVERYONE does the same? It isn't just 1st world countries that are the problem. China, India, and a host of 'developing' countries are also part of the problem. Yet we give waivers to them for their greenhouse gas emissions, BECAUSE they are 'developing nations'. There was study done not so very long ago, on the effects of the Paris accord on the climate thru the rest of the century. It was determined that even if EVERYONE did EXACTLY as the accord detailed, it would only decrease temperature increase by .2 degrees by 2100...... Of course, there wouldn't be a global economy any more. There wouldn't be reliable electric power anywhere, and a fair few jobs would simply disappear. The economy would slow, if not collapse, and we would have even more trouble feeding the population than we do now. And the climate would still change. We still do not understand all the factors that go into determining what our climate does. Blaming everything on a gas that represents .04 percent of our atmosphere is just idiotic. Yet the chicken littles would have you believe that if we don't stop, we are all going to die. Well guess what, we are all going to die anyway. We seem to think we can 'stop' climate change. Nothing could be further from the truth. The climate WILL change, it simply doesn't matter what we do. We may influence the RATE of change, to some small extent, but, that's it. We have two choices here, just like every other species on the planet, since the beginning of time.... We can adapt, or, we can die. It is that easy. Do you think I am just spouting the party line here? That I am just some paid shill? (on a gaming forum..... yeah, I am sure that makes perfect sense.... somewhere.......) Not the case. I support Trump, because I do NOT buy into all the crap the dems are handing out. I went to school for this kind of thing for 8 years. I have a clue. The media likes to promote only one side of the story, while ignoring everything else. But, like a typical lefty, you have resorted to the emotional appeal, and slinging insults, and chalking it all up to some vast conspiracy against 'the truth'. I am going to give you a bit of the truth right here. The folks promoting AGW are mostly politicians, that make a great deal of money from the AGW monster. Of course they are going to continue to promote it. Almost EVERY organization promoting AGW has been caught manipulating data, to be more 'in line' with what they wanted their results to be. Also, we have data going back less than 200 years. The earth is 4.5 BILLION years old. Basing our future on such an insignificant data set, really isn't the brightest move. If these folks were oh-so-concerned about the climate, why don't they sell their multiple massive homes, that they don't live in, stop scooting around the world in their private jets, dock their yachts, and leave them there, etc. But, are they doing any of that? Nope. Climate change is for the 'little people' to have to deal with, they aren't going to alter their lifestyle because of something so trivial as warmer temperatures. After all, that's what air conditioning is for. Now, all of that said, there are some interesting technologies coming about lately..... An economically viable process (on a large scale) to make fuel from atmospheric CO2..... There is one under construction in Canada, I do believe, and they have had a prototype running for a couple years. It works. Now, its just will it scale appropriately...... We shall see.

It's true, he does indeed act like a child, and worse, however, he appears to actually BE a capable leader, as the country WAS doing well until covid came along. Then, he listened to his advisors, including the WHO, on how to handle it. And even the WHO couldn't make up its mind, and issued some 'advice' that was flat out wrong. Of course, they were basing that on what China was telling them, which was a pack of lies...... In all reality, it wouldn't matter a whit what he did, people would still claim that he handled it WRONG!!!! Aside from that, he actually IS doing a reasonable job. Better than Obama, so far as I am concerned. And once again, I do NOT vote for the PERSON, I vote for the platform they are running on. So long as the dems stick to their current pie-in-the-sky policies, that are unworkable, unaffordable, and impossible to accomplish via legislation, I will not vote for any of them. In case you are wondering, I voted for Obama, twice. And for the very same reasons I will once again vote for trump. Because I like their PLATFORM better.

"Weaponsmith Extended.esp" is missing
HeyYou replied to AnuuCheekiBreeki's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Seems others are having this issue as well, as there are posts about it in the mods comment thread. So far, no answers on what needs to be done to fix it though. -
I just installed a mod that prevented settlement attacks altogether. (except the radiant ones..... that you get a quest for) Solved the problem for me.

Do you actually NEED the additional performance? Last time out, when the 20 series cards were released, the 10 series cards didn't see the price drop you would expect when the next gen cards came out...... Will it be the same this time around? Good Question. Given the major performance improvement of the new architecture though...... wouldn't surprise me to see prices on the 20 series cards drop significantly.....

How to load old (pre-mod use) saves after installing mod(s)
HeyYou replied to Nachtej's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
That's just odd. I have no idea why the game would be doing that. Wonder if there is an ini setting to 'fix' it...... -
Doesn't "no more disappearing act" bring problems of its own??

Could make a 'gun' that fires a zero damage projectile, at a high rate of speed, and then detect when it hits the ground? Maybe?

Link to the post? Are you using Scrap Everything by any chance?

HeyYou replied to Nachtej's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Have a look here. See if any of that is helpful. I don't play the vanilla game, ever.... and steam is pretty well blocked at my firewall, (except when necessary....) as I don't like it updating my games on a whim. :D -
I suspect that you have to find the 'right' settler as well. I don't think just any Tom, Dick, or Settler will hand you the quest. :D

"common" sense is what got us where we are today. I would much prefer folks exercised GOOD sense. :D If it weren't for all the bad weather we get we would never enjoy a day where we think the weather is good. Which begs the question; when is the weather actually good? Don't forget your liver spot cream if you're going outside during that great warm sunny day! SKIN CANCER!!!!! Agghhhh!!! :D

And in that, Trump is no different than any other politician before him. As I have said many times already in this thread, he is still the lesser of two evils. There is no way on god's little green acre I will vote for any democrat, given the platform they are running on. There is just too much in there, that I vehemently disagree with, and in no way support. The dems have moved way to far left, and they are drifting further every day. Most of their platform involves removing rights, and spending tremendous piles of money, that they don't have, and have no idea where to get it. Reparations? Green new deal? Interesting ideas, but, no possible way to pay for it, yet they are still advocating for those, and more. (gun bans, restrictions on freedom of speech, etc.) The whole 'sensible gun laws' thing just really gets my goat, as not a single law they are proposing, including bans, will make any difference at all. (and that's a whole 'nother thread.....) Nope. Not a chance in hell will any of them get any support at all from me. That leaves Trump. So, Trump it is. Why is that so difficult for you to accept? Biden is not a saint. Even folks that know him are saying that he is not the man he used to be. (mind is slipping) Do we want Kamala Harris as president? A woman more prejudiced than a station full of cops? Wanna talk about 'dangerous', THAT would be the dictionary definition thereof.

Can you set the value of the custom enchantment to zero?

Dangerous to whom? In what way? So far, up until the covid thing, the economy was doing fine, the country was moving forward, isn't that what we want from a leader? You are still mixing the man, with the platform he ran on. From where I am sitting, Trump has actually done a decent job, which is all I really ask. Does he have some personality flaws? You bet. Does it affect his ability to do his job? Maybe, to a certain extent, but, not in any sort of major fashion. He is actually standing firm against China, something previous presidents seem to have been unable to do. (south china sea.) In this particular instance, in my view, he is doing better than Obama ever did.

Talk to the settlers there, rumor has it, they may give you a quest, and you can regain the settlement.
-
Is this something you want to do continuously? Or just when hovering, and preparing to land? I can't seem to find any way to judge distance above objects on the fly...... I think the game has issues with it as well, as I see vertibirds do some odd stuff....... Probably need the FOSE folks to see if they can expose that information.....

How to load old (pre-mod use) saves after installing mod(s)
HeyYou replied to Nachtej's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
So far as I know, that is a designation added by the game itself. I don't see anything in the folder itself, in the file names that says if it is modded or not...... -

HeyYou replied to Nachtej's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Look in your user profile. It might be in Documents as well. Just looked, yep, in win 10, it's a subfolder of documents. -
I didn't create a new one each time. I had an empty cell with a selection of marker rats in it. :) Then I would just put one at some z position, and I think there was an OBSE function to instantly make it hit the ground. (at which point, I could get the position.) In oblivion, whacking someone with a rat wasn't considered 'an attack', and if you did hit someone, they didn't take any damage...... In fallout 4, however..... and papyrus....... I don't know if either of those will be the case. You can't remove collision from the marker rat, as it would just pass right thru the ground........

And that's why I save all the mods I download. Drive space has gotten dirt cheap.

How to load old (pre-mod use) saves after installing mod(s)
HeyYou replied to Nachtej's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I think there is a setting for that somewhere, but, I don't remember where. Is steam saving your unmodded games in the cloud, and the modded saves in the local folder? (C:\users\yourusername\my games\fallout 4\saves....)
