So far as I know, it simply isn't possible to completely turn off updates on win 10. You don't really want to anyway. You can dramatically reduce which updates you get, by setting the internet connection up as "metered", windows will only do necessary security updates that way. Biggest thing you want to do for network speeds, is turn off all the telemetry that win 10 comes with. There is a script out there in the world that will do most of it. It's called "Reclaim Windows 10." You can also set up 'active hours', so windows won't update/restart during those hours.

Try turning off your non-texture graphics mods one at a time, and see what your framerate does. Your hardware should be able to run this game with zero issues.

Think I would wait until the hardware was all set up, and ready to go, before getting the game going.....

You gain experience from using your skills, which seems perfectly reasonable.... or do you not want your character to improve at all?? Pretty much everything is influenced by player level, right down to vendor inventory......

Go back to 1985, invest a few thousand dollars in Microsoft, and Apple. Come back to this time, and be filthy rich. :D I think it would be fun to go back to the late 60's, early 70's, and buy up some Muscle cars as well. You are close. :) The idea is, don't install in a protected folder. Program Files, Programs files (x86) etc. Create a folder on the root of C, (or, ideally, a separate drive) for steam/all your games. UAC (User Account Control) is what bites most folks in the keester.

Here, we have statistics on just who the police have killed for the last couple years. For 2018, (might just as well be consistent here.....) 399 were white, 209 were black. Total for 2018 is 996. So, blacks make up about 21% of that total. Considering they also commit more than 50% of murders, and robberies.... Table. and not a single link - not one - stating anything to do with "marxism". here's another shocked face. go back and try again and substantiate your absolute gubbins. I could easily same the same about your points. The fact is, blacks are discriminated against because of the perception folks have of them, by seeing their behavior in their own communities. Blacks commit FAR more crime than their population should account for, thus, cops are going to treat blacks differently than whites. (and particularly in those very same neighborhoods.....) Why is that so hard to understand? When their whole culture appears to glorifiying the thug life, teaching mistrust of any authority, (the very same authorities they are demanding help them......) Having the right shoes is more important than getting an education. There are THOUSANDS of programs to specifically help blacks better their position in life, yet very few of them take advantage of them. Their response to a perceived wrong is to burn down their neighborhoods...... And even when it is PROVEN beyond ANY doubt that a police officer was quite correct in his actions, they STILL scream racism, and burn down some more neighborhoods. The press is highly complicit in this as well. If a black man is killed by police, it is EVERYWHERE. Yet how many articles/news stories has anyone seen about a white being shot by the cops??? I think I remember ONE in the last year or so, when the Australian lady that CALLED the cops was shot by the cops....... And what is happening in the cities where they are 'defunding' the police? Or placing heavy restrictions on them? Crime, including shootings.... is skyrocketing. And that is black on black crime. BLM is NOT about black lives. If they actually were, they would be attempting to address issues in their own neighborhoods. The things they ARE complaining about in their 'hood, lack of opportunity, lack of jobs/economic development, etc, relates DIRECTLY back to the crime rates in those areas. I pointed out in a previous post, that the statistics he was touting were easily available on the FBI website, then you come along and decry his facts. What am I supposed to think?

Trump is an idiot. Yes. Trump is an arse. Yes. He is most certainly not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, HOWEVER, I STILL like him better than any of the candidates the dems were/are putting up. I like my first and second amendment rights, thank you very much. I don't want open borders. I don't want to absolutely destroy our economy with the "Green New Deal", that was original thought up by a lady that ostensibly has a degree in economics, but, by all appearances, doesn't have the first clue about the subject. Were I in a position to do so, I would revoke her degree..... I am not necessarily voting FOR trump, so much as I am voting AGAINST the dems. Sometimes, when the game generates the cell, and the various spawns within it, something doesn't go quite right, and the game chokes and dies. If you stay out of the area until the cell resets, and then respawns when you get near, the problem will mysteriously be gone. :)

I would point out, that everything he said is easily verifiable by simply going to the FBI website, and such. Not to mention that the non-statistical claims he makes, are also documented in numerous locations, and not just Right-wing sites.

The point of my post was to address your fallacies so that others could do their own research and get a better understanding of things. You take everything they have to say as the gospel truth, and then go on to denigrate and belittle anyone that disagrees with you. You deny the basic causes of the problems BLM is bringing up. You pick and choose your sources to support your position. (Ok, that doesn't come as a surprise, I do the exact same thing..... :) ) What we have here, in this little corner of the internet, is a microcosm of the world at large. Two VERY different viewpoints on the same issue. This does not come as a surprise either. We are a VERY diverse group here, with folks from all over the world. If we all agreed on everything, I would be flat out stunned. That just isn't going to happen. We can type out our points, and others can accept them, or not.... as in is the case in the world at large. Are we going to change any minds in here? I highly doubt it. My biggest problem is I am old, and jaded. I have seen a fair bit in my life, and most of it really isn't all that good. There ARE good people out there, from EVERY spectrum of our population. In the end though, the climate is going to change regardless of what we do, so, we get two choices, we can adapt, or, we can die. Wouldn't be first time a changing climate has wiped out a species. (or several millions species all at once for that matter.) wrong, you are narrowing your view and your options and nobody knows why! extremely simplified you have at least 3 choices: 1. do nothing (it is back to stone age but this does not mean you have to die!) 2. accept as a fatalist what is just happening and do nothing, it is like 1. but you do it because you want it that way! (probably that what you and trump prefer) 3. accept and study the facts, use that info or support others to make future better while using science and valuable information in a way you think it should be at least a littlebit better for all (that is what all u.s presidents, excluding trump, prefered!). We cannot stop climate change. It IS going to happen. Denying that particular fact flies in the face of BILLIONS of years of evidence to the contrary. When I say "adapt", I don't mean "do nothing". Reducing our impact on the environment is definitely something we need to do, and it isn't just our carbon footprint. But implementing policies that are going to bury us in debt, trash our economy, make EVERYTHING more expensive...... isn't a good idea either. One of the biggest issues that we face, is population growth..... And that is going to be impossible to correct. (barring another world war, or a disease that makes covid look like a summer cold......) We can see the writing on the wall. We KNOW what is going to happen. We need to start taking steps NOW, to mitigate problems we are going to face in the future. By altering how we treat our environment, we *might* be able to delay the inevitable, but, in the end, it's still inevitable. Climate change is a fact of life. Has been since the earth first formed. So, prepare for it.
