There is a mod that allows you to set up 'power profiles', which would likely do what you want, just switch to a profile that the turrets aren't powered. :D

For capitol ships, have a 'landing bay' the holds a small ship, use that to go to the planet.

Do you have the correct version of SFSE for your game version?? -
Original textures will be in an archive, that's what the whole 'archive invalidation' thing is all about. I had to put those lines in the starfield.ini in the game folder, for it to work properly. (no clue why) There is also instructions out there on how to get rid of the data folder in the My Games folder (which I recommend, don't wanna be installing mods to the O/S drive..... personal preference I suppose.) Then everything just goes to the game install folder, and removes some of the confusion.

Mod Organizer 2 seems to have starfield dialed in. That said, I install ALL of my mods manually for Starfield..... Yeah, I was just looking into doing that. Seems way overly complex (as compared to something like ESO, for instance). I started with Morrowind..... so I am used to it by now. :D Once you install a couple, you'll figger it out. :D

Post in the site issues and feedback forum. That said, it sometimes takes a bit for stats to update. It most certainly is NOT instantaneous.

Yeah.... this particular mechanic is highly annoying...... Either rebind the 'get up' key, or rebind the key to cycle thru targets...... -

For now, I would manually install..... Vortex ain't quite up to the task yet. :D

CCR is a dll plugin for SFSE, right? If so, it loads with the game exe, it is essentially load order independent. (same goes for all dll mods.) At this point, I don't trust Vortex. It really doesn't know what to do with starfield mods yet... so, I install everything manually, and "It just works.". :D

Updating a mod or releasing a new one?

Mods don't go away any more. You can't delete them. If you update a mod though, the older version is archived, so, not really easily available for download, unless it's part of a collection. If you just make a new page, then the old mod is still there. You could 'hide' it, I suppose..... I agree with fraquar here though, updating lets you keep the comments thread. :D -

Separating aid, food, and 'enhancement drugs' into separate categories would be nice...... It will likely happen once we have modding tools. -
Given that there are human outpost and almost every planet/moon that I go to, one would think that we have already pretty thoroughly mapped known space, and it would be available on the nav table......

Can you just set your ini file as read only? I would be real curious why that is happening. If you DON'T start the game via vortex, does the same thing happen? -

Yes, an extremely grindy mechanic. I figure a mod that increases them, if you already have the power unlocked, would be a good alternative to those that no longer enjoy the temple "puzzle" There is a mod that reduces the number 'lights' you have to hit to get the power. There is also another mod that DRAMATICALLY shortens the video for it...... I use both. :D -
Probably need to wait until we actually have modding tools for the game, before re-textures become more common.

I would like to be able to put them on my ship...... :D Not like there aren't a fair few panels that don't really do anything, even in the smallest of ships. -
I genuinely like the game.... The minor tweaks also makes the game much more playable for me. And I run a bunch of 'em..... It's a beth game. I got more than what I expected, and I am very much enjoying what I got. The little tweaks only make it more enjoyable.

Powers increase when you visit a temple that gives you the same power..... Seems a reasonable mechanic to me.....
