That Logitech Anywhere is very good on battery life, and it stops broadcasting after a very short period of inactivity. That was true for my previous MX Anywhere. The Huntsman Elite doesn't take up any less space across my desk than the full size keyboards w/a number pad, but easier to keep clean. If you don't use the removable wrist pad, it takes up much less space vertically, however. I like still having the number pad, and my hands are kind of small, so it helps me reach other keys more easily.

@Hardmethod Hi, just to let you know - the more mods involved, the harder it is for someone to answer. I do not use any of the mods you cited, and not MO2, so I couldn't even help you there. You do realize that there is a separate thread available under the 'Game Communities' item at the top of the page? One of them is for Skyrim stuff, you might have gotten a faster response there. Make sure you join the community to post. There are also the separate mod comments pages, still on the old system. This thread we are on can be a rather diverse collection of problems and games, and maybe fewer visits by the real experts as a result. I suggested somewhere else that the game should be posted in the title, like "SSE - Embers XD, LUX, LUX VIA, LUX ORBIS not working together." Another issue - the users are from all over the world, and the ONE person who might help is in a time zone who last checked the forum just before you posted. Nine hours is not such a long time when you think about it. Sorry you didn't get any answers, but you also didn't give any - what did you do to fix your own problem? Be proud of your own efforts, and maybe save someone else such trouble!

@zixi - yes, the 'Anywhere' series is wireless, the battery lasts for 3-5 DAYS (even when I am on Skyrim 10+ hours in a session), and a quick check in the Logitech app will show the charge level b4 you start gaming not sure about whether the 'low battery' notice works while in Skyrim. Took about 30 minutes to charge from 20% to full. I just have a usb port plugged in to a power strip, and plug in as neccesary. Also, you can run that mouse as a wired mouse, but to me, the cable is a bit too stiff, and too short, which causes problems in my somewhat congested play area. I currently use a Razer Huntsman Elite wired kb, has full NumPad, and about 80% size keys. BTW - you do not have to have the Logitech app running in the background when playing.

Wierd distant texture's rendering up close
7531Leonidas replied to drekthul's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
I think you could find more information if you search for 'large reference bug', it can happen a lot in Skyrim. Looks like you are in a Fallout game, perhaps? State which game you are playing, mod manager used, and some type of mod list/mod order, and ppl with more experience can try to help you -
I don't understand why you have NetScriptFramework.Runtime.dll in your crash log, as .Net Script Framework doesn't run in Skyrim AE v. 1.6+. If you have NSF installed, try disabling/removing it, as well as any mods that require it. Search for threads in this forum about fixes for SkyUI, Engine Fixes, and FPS fix.

Which body mod are you using? I got around most of the body physics problems by making my own slider settings in BS, and saving it as "My CBBE Curvy Physics", or some such, using the CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing preset. Just make your adjustments, and save your work. I made a very slender body at 0 weight, and a borderline obese (but still curvy, not blobby) at 100. Then, look for NPC mods that allow you to use default bodies at install, or be prepared to replace folders full of body meshes and textures to make sure that they work with CBBE 3BA. Make sure to 'Build Morphs' when you use the 'Batch Build' button. A word of advice - if you use Vortex, don't be like me and try to use a standalone LOOT as well. Just causes problems. Use the functions in Vortex and SSEEdit to correct things that LOOT messages indicate.

Newest Skyrim Update Has Completely Broken My Game
7531Leonidas replied to AndrewFaulkner's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE Look at SKSE64.log - check the SKSE version that is running, below that are listings for every skse plugin loaded. You can look for ones that did not load properly. I think that it states 'did not load', so you could use a text string search "not load" while in the log file to spot problems faster. In this same folder, are logs created for every .dll that runs. You could view the folder using the 'Details' setting, then listing by 'Date Modified'. This will give you a list of those reports, pushing the ones that did not respond farther down. The ones that did not load should be farther down the list, allowing you to identify the bad ones more quickly. -
Well, I think that my Logitech Anywhere 3x is about as small as you will find, I suspect that the main mouse buttons on the top will end up being unreliable in the not too distant future. I have not had much luck with button durability with Logitech mice.

Trying to get back into Skyrim with mods...
7531Leonidas replied to goddowardtherighteous's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Mod Organizer 2 is what you are looking for ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194 ). That said, once you get past the learning curve for Vortex, it can be much less picky than MO2 in many ways. But, I am sure that MO2 is not that much different from the original MO. If you choose to use Engine Fixes and SkyUI, there are some adjustments that need to be made to work with the latest 1.6.1130, look at their mod comments for details. Also, there is another Beth update for SSE/AE expected soon, which might mess up the SKSE dll based mods again. A Nexus page to help tracking SKSE64 mod compatibility ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). There is a plethora of graphics mods, I basically use Pfuscher's stuff, Realistic Water 2, and some of the various landscape/mesh patches available, along with Auto Parallax. Dyndolod 3.0 is much more capable, but it seems to be much more picky than v. 2, and I have put off trying to get it to run. You may have more luck, starting fresh. Wanking Skeever and JaySerpa have a lot of patches, as does AndrealphusIII WRT bug fixes and consistency. Many more animation mods, but I haven't changed over to Nemesis, too much older stuff working with FNIS. I get tired of experimenting. JoopvanDie has a trio of new locations, search with Folkstead, Haafstad, and Nyhus. I think that a very well-regarded mod called Chanterelle is another new place, I haven't gotten around to checking it out yet. Ancient Dwemer Metal and Dwemer Pipeworks Reworked help the Dwemer stuff so much. I also like Dwemer Gates Don't Reset so you avoid a lot of bugs/problems if you enter a Dwemer ruin prematurely. There are incredible mods being made WRT lighting, such as removing light source limits, and the Community Shaders. Enough of this WOT, I was scanning my 1400+ mod list, not counting pure texture mods. I hope this helps a bit. -
Nether's Follower Framework does a lot, have used it for some time. There is a mod to help make sure that special NPCs don't get imported ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/82945 ). Make sure that you get it, as well.

how to have 2 mod with same name in same file
7531Leonidas replied to vexanana's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
If using Vortex, you can often have an option upon install to install as a variant, or some such. I haven't used it, but I think that it allows for use of different variants in profiles. -
Has your .ini accidentally been set to "read-only"? I suggest making a copy of your current .ini, and labeling it .inidateofchange, like .ini240101. You will get the usual warning about changing the file type. THEN experiment.

I used a Roccat Kone Air Pro mouse for awhile, and liked its sensitivity, the optical mouse buttons, and variety of adjustments in the settings, but I have pretty small hands, and I couldn't manipulate it well vertically on my tabletop w/a claw grip, it would 'bottom out' on the heel of my hand when trying to pull it to the bottom of the screen. It is almost 1 inch longer (~2 cm) than my current and previous mouse, the Logitech Anywhere 2x/3x. All of the other gaming mice I saw at the time were of similar length.

While I do not agree with some sort of database for 'authorized' users, there is a very real problem with minors being able to d/l and stream very hard core stuff. I take issue w/your conclusion about outlawing porn. That ship has sailed, which is why so much stuff is available, based on 1st Amendment challenges to earlier ban attempts. With that said, all sides in the US have been trying to get around/stretch the US Constitution quite a lot lately.

My mod list was working and is now broken.
7531Leonidas replied to Machsc's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
You could also go the 'Downgrader' route and use BEES ( Backported Extended ESL Support ), which allows you to use mods made under the newer CK with 1.6.640 (and older?). -
Trying to find CTD culprit mod
7531Leonidas replied to swifterthanlight's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
You have to look at the wall of text in the crash report, and look for which objects/plugins are reported. If you see 'mov', 'rax' in the error statements - these are often animation/physics related. You should also see two creatures in your error list, Frostbite Spider (from Skyrim.esm) and rat ( from SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp ). It seems that something from your Engine Fixes install is causing a problem with the rat (as seen in your crash log just below the rat info), maybe? Double-check your installations for those, and your Skyrim Immersive Creatures (SIC). There may be some kind of load order conflict causing the problem, I don't know. -
Hate starting a new "issues after the update" thread but
7531Leonidas replied to RicoOcho's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
It looks to me like your body has lost its skin texture, so have you made sure that your skin is the right version for the body type you have installed? I assume that you tried reinstalling your skin mod(s). -
Trying to find CTD culprit mod
7531Leonidas replied to swifterthanlight's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Have you checked your SKSE logs? There is one set found in your Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE. A few logs can be found in your .../common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/SKSE/Plugins. Look for whatever didn't start properly. -
You might be surprised what a full-blown eye candy SSE/AE install can require, especially w/FSMP-HDT installed as well. It can stutter a bit. Probably need to update my CPU a bit.

You should at least put the name of the game in the post title, or the first line of your post. It will help ppl scan for games they have experience with faster.

That is going to require someone who is familiar with that stuff. I can't help, sorry. You might get a faster response also posting on the mod page.
