The main light in the cube interior is no longer on - stopped a few saves ago, and I don't know how to control it or what that might have changed in the mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/475 )- no separate settings. Took a look at it in SSEEdit, and this appears to be the light - YsDC_DwarvenOmni_Warm_NoFlicker, and I think that its FormID is YsDC_DwarvenOmni_Warm_NoFlicker [LIGH:E3014D07]. Any hints on how to toggle it back on, or how to re-set the mod? I used 'pcb' while in the console, and when that didn't work, then uninstalled and reinstalled it in Vortex, after leaving the cube. Thanks!

Skyrim Crash after re-installed new pc, please help
7531Leonidas replied to thediamondwink's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
A couple of things - have you looked at the SKSE logs in your Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE folder? There is a mod compatibility page on the Nexus ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). Go there, and see if any of your mods have/need updates. I forgot - you have made the necessary edits to the Engine Fixes .toml? If not, I think that someone has made a mod that is the edited .toml. You need it for SkyUI and the MCM to work. -

When you installed the mod, did you install the CBBE-specific version, or the default body version? If the CBBE version, did you build it in BodySlide? You might try the asset version instead, and install his asset pool mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71228 ), especially since you said that all of those followers have problems. If you like your default female body, however, you could install the default body version instead.

Hey, Zixi - have you ever sought out older B&W stuff on DVD? There's a lot of stuff still available.

IDN - I don't know what your criteria are for 'white supremacists', but I do know that ANY search algorithm leads you back to stuff that is similar to what you have already procured/searched for. Maybe you should look for help in getting rid of your various histories in the search engines, or use different search engines? Maybe even one of the tracking cookie blockers like Ghostery or Duck Duck Go? Also, getting rid of product because of its sources kind of is the definition of 'cancel' culture, like the BBC placing 'trigger' warnings on the original James Bond movies. Everything is a product of its time, and our time just happens to be an era where it is possible to reach/see many more cultures and viewpoints, each (IMO) with its own unstated presumptions and prejudices. Go back and look at the actual message(s) promoted in your old stuff, maybe with the lyrics text files? Analyze your own prejudices. -
You could even go to that game's forum, by poking around in the 'Gaming' forum on the Home page of this forum, and asking this question again. You have to join that particular game's community to post.

Dark Brotherhood Black Faces/Naked Babet
7531Leonidas replied to KingOfTheRim's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Look up SSEEdit - you can use it to highlight all conflicts between mod records. I have used RS Children in the past, it shows a lot of sensitivity to overwrites, especially in the face tints. Even though it seems like it shouldn't, I think that your male NPC overhaul and/or HIMBO could also be overwriting some female records. Hence the recommendation for the SSEEdit route. At least you can tell others what the overwrites were, and ask for help in correcting/adjusting the problems. I am sure that there are a lot of tutorials around for xEdit/SSEEdit, and 'conflict resolution'. One other thing - where in your load order (LO) is Dibella's Blessing compared to RSC and your npc overhaul, and HIMBO? You may be able to simply change them around in your LO to eliminate most problems. Like HIMBO->Dibella's Blessing->NPC overhaul->RSC (and its many patches/addons). This means Himbo would load earliest (smaller/lower LO numbers) of these mods, RSC last (bigger/higher LO numbers).Kind of hard to tell, w/o more info on the actual overwrites. -
@riorolannn: LOOT is here - https://loot.github.io/ On the sidebar of that page, there is a 'support & discussion' section. At its very bottom, you should see an 'Unofficial Tutorials' link. Maybe that will help.

Newest Skyrim Update Has Completely Broken My Game
7531Leonidas replied to AndrewFaulkner's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Daelyn BEES is to allow SE 1.6.640 to load mods created in the newest Creation Kit, which places a header that makes it possible to double the number of ESP-FE mods. If you have ANY mod that was built/modified in the newest CK, you need it. I 'think' that if there is any mismatch between your Address Library, SKSE, and/or any of your SKSE mods, then you will get the "out of date" message. Maybe ask on the Address Library page about that error message, and how precise it is? -
In a very old experience, the doctor directed me to use ice packs for the first 48 hours, then alternating ice pack/warm soak sessions. I don't believe any injury or surgery ever returns to what it 'used to be' - pretty hard to do with scar tissue, circulation changes and whatnot.

I have figured out that I generally only need the two mouse buttons, the scroll wheel, and two thumb buttons for what I play. I have an old Sidewinder joystick that I used when I was playing Wing Commander stuff so long ago. That was the only game I had that needed more inputs. More inputs -> more physical stress on my hands/wrists, and usually a much steeper learning curve in the game, especially when the game has been ported from a console w/pad controls and combinations. It seems like a lot of games are intentionally set to prevent the utilization of the PC's greater adaptability.

I think that at least some good portion of those denialists are really just trolls that will argue with a wall, a rock, or a tree. They seem to love attacking someone else's reality/perceptions. BTW, I am glad you replied, I am never quite sure if I should comment on such a personal post, or if what I say will come across as I intended. I hope that you have several people IRL to discuss things with/laugh with. Re: Beth - It is hard to realize that even if all of Nexus is considered, how small the community really is to Beth. They are trying to transform Skyrim into some sort of income source that flows predominately through their channels, and not others. If followed to an extreme, or even likely, conclusion - it could well severely restrict the current modding community, but it could also get some kind of antitrust reaction. They had better be careful. -
There is probably something wrong in each file header, what it could be, I do not know. In Skyrim, xEdit and LOOT will often indicate what the problems are. If there are versions that work with Oblivion, you might try those.

I think that such data is 'baked' in once you start your game. Did you try to enter the console, click on the child, and then use the console command disable, followed by enable? The child should disappear, then reappear, especially if you exit the console after you hit the return key to actuate the command. I think that there is also a more drastic command, but I don't know exactly what it is.

Many athletes prefer an ice water/warm water bath alternation. Not sure which is first, but the ice water reduces inflammation, while the warm bath increases circulation. Pitchers in US baseball, and quarterbacks in US football I think, generally ice pack/ice bath first, then warm. Again, I am not sure.

I believe that any limb/joint is susceptible to repetitive stress injury (RSI), carpal tunnel is prevalent mainly because there is so much going on in that tiny passage for those nerves. Yes, I do also believe that rest can help prevent problems before they occur, but that once there is a problem, it is hard to rest enough. But I AM NOT A DOCTOR/SURGEON. Just my observations of myself/family/friends/acquaintances.

It has finally happened, I've lost all my games....
7531Leonidas replied to InDarkestNight's topic in PC Gaming
Hey, IDN - I think that you are being a bit too gloomy. My gaming history goes all the way back to Pong. Things change. I use a very few games to break away from the 'real' world for awhile, in a world I can have more control over. I too, do not like the current gaming genre, too much information mining, and the lack of control/possession inherent in streaming content. It really bothers me that classics like 'Gone With the Wind' could one day be removed from the public, like Disney's wartime cartoons of the 1930's and 40's, simply because we think their concepts were evil, instead of using them as a glimpse of history. Everyone has the greed factor in their being, it is a survival trait. When ppl group up, I am sure that it is magnified. However, you can only be responsible for YOU, try to find fulfillment out of what you do, and parse the responses in the frame of constructive feedback. Example - you cited harassment and 'open white supremacists', but said nothing about the matching trends for the ability to ban all conversation that disagrees with the public imperative for diversity, income equity, climate change mitigation, or any drawbacks/disadvantages of these viewpoints. Steam is in the business to make money, just like you were in YT videos. If they don't change, they don't keep getting money. Your gaming days need not be "over", if you can find some other enjoyment out of them, and maybe a little profit. You like to mod games, learn to mod those games, and put your stuff out there, maybe even older games that are in the public domain. BTW, I think you are a bit too hypersensitive about food contaminants. ALL foods are toxic, to some extent. That is why we evolved with livers and kidneys. IMO, a lot of the 'research' on food is simply wild speculation often based on ultra-stringent standards, instead of the idea of 'the poison is in the dose'. By the standards you 'seem' to operate under, even getting your own chickens wouldn't work, as anything you feed them would be contaminated by insecticides/herbicides, and local contaminants in the ground. Yes 'every thing is out to get you' is true in nature, as well as 'everything has a proper use/application. Remember - "THE POISON IS IN THE DOSE". Not just saying this, I do have a BS in chemistry, even though not specifically in this area. There are 'experts' in every area that seem to need to have others regard them as saviors, from some heretofore unseen/unheeded harm. IGNORE THEM, unless they can point to a possible mechanism/process that causes a problem. They just cause more stress and bleak outlooks. Just be careful, it seems to me like you are pulling yourself into a cocoon (or a death shroud). Make it a cocoon that you plan to exit, having made some choices to change some areas. Please. Get some help if necessary. -
Vampire Lord Transformation Keeps Crashing Game
7531Leonidas replied to CursedBlood777's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
Have you explored the comments/bugs sections of the two mods you cited? Might be a clue there. You could also check out SSEEdit, and use its 'show conflicts' filter after you load up your entire LO. There are tutorials available, just not sure how current they are. Basically, every mod listed in red is being overwritten by something, so look at the two mods you listed if they show up red, and see what is/are the mod(s) affecting them. Looking doesn't change anything, you have to intentionally make changes in files, and save those changes. Any information on overwrites could be helpful if you go to the mod pages. BTW, make sure to include the version of your Skyrim, your mod manager, when you discuss this w/anyone, and have your load order (LO) available for posting in the conversation. -
Re - Carpal Tunnel - my kb hand is the one that exhibits the symptoms from time to time, mostly from my thumb on the space bar, so I am not sure about your last statement being true.

Looking for a mod related to MCMs. Skyrim SE
7531Leonidas replied to thesilverderp's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
Re: your settings - the author MaskedRPGFan has made a large number of MCM settings savers, so that the settings persist into new games. The only problem I have had, is that I have to leave at least one save, with its matching SKSE save file, for the settings to transfer to a new game. Have not seen a mod like you are requesting, however.
