Unsurprisingly, the vote was pretty much along party lines. Not a single dem voted Not Guilty. As it requires a 2/3rds majority to get the guilty verdict, it really shouldn't come as a surprise that it failed.

If you can, stay away from the huge mechanical harddrives..... they are notoriously slow, and short-lived in laptops. Solid state drives have gotta a LOT cheaper of late, so, if you have the option, go for an SSD for the secondary drive. :D It costs a bit more, but, the performance improvement is WELL worth the additional expense.

Yup. Been thru the whole UGrids thing as well. Thanks for the thought though. :) I don't use autosaves at all either. I think the only ini edit I use, aside from enabling mods..... is for arrow projectile reach. (got tired of watching my arrows pass right thru the target, and not do any damage at all.) Yep, got the unofficial patches.

Not using climates of Tamriel..... In fact, not using and graphics mods at all...... :)

Probably a texture, or ENB, if you are using one.....

An interesting idea, but, you would need permission from the original authors..... Would be quite the project though.... as a fair few of those mods add thousands of items........ :D

Rename your ini files, and try again. The game will create new ones, and redetect your hardware...... See if that helps.

Yeah, I think 20H2 is the latest and greatest version. Just need a thumb drive of 8gb or more. Use the 'media creation tool' available from MS, to get the ISO, and then just run it from within windows. (don't boot from the thumb drive....) It takes a bit, but, fixes a host of issues. :)

Been playing for a while, and finally went to Solstheim. Trouble is, the game freezes FREQUENTLY when wandering around outside. I have been able to travel east along the southern coast, but, as soon as I try and head north, the game freezes. Kinda random just how far I get before if freezes, sometimes I can make it for five whole minutes, other times, I take a few steps, and I'm done.... I have no changed anything in my load order, and I don't have any mods that specifically target anything in Solstheim. The game runs just fine in skyrim. No crashes/freezes at all. So far, I have tried resetting UGridsToLoad back to 5, used Fallrim tools to clean out any orphaned scripts, use some other editor to remove all mention of MG07 quest, and none of it has made any difference at all. I am running enb, with just the memory fixes, also SKSE, and it's memory fixes. (is this redundant?) Hardware: i7 9700KF @ 3.6ghz. 8gb system Ram. GTX 1060 ftw 6gb. Win 10 Pro 64 bit. Game is installed on a 500gb solid state drive, separate from the drive the O/S is installed on. (so, definitely NOT in the program files folder. :) ) I can't find any other solutions for this particular problem..... and it makes the game unplayable in solstheim..... I am open to any and all suggestions.

Actually, Joe didn't assume power until January 21st. So, he has only been in power for a couple weeks.... His main goal seems to be to undo everything Trump did. Nothing new there though. Typical behavior when the government changes parties.

What version of windows 10 are you running? (Start, settings, system, about.) I might be tempted to do an in-place upgrade, even if it's to the same version..... that replaces all the important files, and tends to fix quite few of Win 10's foibles.

Skyrim SE would likely give you all sorts of interesting things to play with, as it's the same engine FO4 runs on, and there are some VERY cool AI mods for FO4. Trouble is, not sure it would run on an integrated graphics solution.... not sure it would even walk.... and convincing the construction kit to run, would be another can of worms...... It can be problematic on even beastly powerful rigs..... Fallout 4 would be another game you might consider, suppose it just depends on which genre you prefer. :D (but, same issues would apply, not sure Skyrim SE, or FO4 would run on integrated video.....)

I think any "new year" that finds me upright, breathing regularly, and moving around under my own power, is a "Happy" one. :)

Well, since the institute has essentially unlimited manpower..... I think the first thing that needs to happen is for various groups, Raiders, Gunners, Railroad? to be brought under control, or just outright eliminated. Law and order needs to be restored, and the institute most certainly can come up with the manpower to accomplish that. With that threat eliminated, it makes it much easier for the populace to concentrate on improving their lot in life. (not being in fear for your life every second of the day would help a LOT) So, food and shelter would be next on the list. The institute has some interesting technology to assist in that area as well. Once folks are safe, (relatively) fed, and have a place to hang their hat, I think education would be next up on the priority list.......

I don't think you can search on that criteria, unless the mod name has the extension in it. So far as I know, it isn't possible to search by file contents.

Yeah, you can reduce the size of the page file. (virtual memory) "Stock", it's dynamic, and windows will adjust the size as it sees fit. Not always the best plan. You can set it to a smaller, fixed size, but, don't set it to zero.... that tends to annoy windows. :)

I just change .ini, to .bak. That is adequate to the task.

Drill down to NPCs, and just have a look at one of them. (doesn't matter which one.) Can't tell ya exactly where they are, but, should be relatively easy to find. :)

Not that I am aware of. I clean out my saves folder every now and again, as sometimes, having too many of them in there can slow load times.
