I use MCM, and it works perfectly fine for me. It does indeed require FOSE, so, if you don't have it installed, MCM simply isn't going to work. You may want to try installing MCM manually. Some of the mod managers don't handle it well. (just like a few other mods.....)

Ain't that the truth...... If I have time at some point, maybe I will play with various settings, and see what happens. Rumor has it, you can change settings on the fly, without having to exit the game, just open the console, do a 'refreshini', or some such, and it will run with the new settings.

Do you remember which changes you made?? I know this is a lotta fussin' about... but, maybe 'undo' the changes one or three at a time, and see which ones affect the water? Along with 90% of the rest of the population. Some of the measures I believe are bit 'over the top', but hey, we all do what we gotta do. For me, life really hasn't changed that much. I work in IT, so, am considered 'essential', so, still go to work on a regular basis.

Huh? Did you read the forum header? This IS the place where they want these kinds of discussions...... As for identity politics..... I fear we are stuck with it. We are no longer 'americans', we are blacks, whites, gays, trans, whathaveyou. And of course, if you aren't 'one of us', then you are one of THEM, and therefore, we know you hate us...... It's idiotic, and is only serving to divide the country further, and the politicians aren't helping any either.... they are actually DRIVING this trend.

Hey now, I took a shower today..... at least, I *think* it was today...... maybe it was yesterday...... Hhhhmmmm...... :D LOL ... just wait until the weather gets well and fully colderer. Once I can see my breath I tend to avoid the shower. Nice while you're in there, but you do need to come out at some point. Whadaya think ... do I keep the thermosat low enough? Apparently. :) I keep mine around 67 or so during heating season. Propane ain't cheap, and I ain't rich. :) However.... I have a VERY larger hot water heater..... (also propane, unfortunately) so I can take VERY long hot showers, without danger of running out. :) After coming in from the cold, it sure feels good. :D

Have you ever been to the US? Or are you just basing your opinions on the overblown stories in the media? If the latter, I HIGHLY recommend you come for a visit, and see for yourself what things are like here. Maybe that would help you understand some folks attitudes a little better.

If you are plugged in most of the time, you could also simply disable the intel graphics in bios. There may also be an ini edit you can do....

I think the next fallout, and elder scrolls games, will be just like what we are used to, simply because they are likely already in the pipeline. After that, its anyones guess.... MS is all about making money.... and user made content contributes mightily to the longevity of beth games. MS knows that, so, hopefully, they will continue on in that vein. I run win 10 because I have to. No drivers for win 7 for newer hardware.... (I upgraded back in October 2019, old machined died.) I run win 10 pro, and all my privacy settings are exactly the same as they were when I set up windows at install. Yes, I still get forced windows updates, but, NOT drivers, or pretty much anything else. (security and feature updates are pretty much standard) MS has finally stopped installing software I don't want on my machine... I suspect that may be a product of telling windows I am on a metered connection, so, it simply does not do certain updates, until I tell it to. I have no issues running my games on win 10.
