  1. So i'm reinstalling the mod and on the first page i selected Scrap Everything ultimate edition and on the next page i just selected disappearing objects terrain fix, and thats all i need? i won't have any FPS issues? That *should* be golden. I think if you wanna break precoms/preivs the world over, the installer does the .ini edit. I think. :D So, nothing to worry about there.
  2. Would it be possible to have conduit only visible in build mode?? Is there a keyword for that, or something interesting like that?
  3. I looked when I read your message. I wasn't able to find a setting that does that. Neither can I...... Hhhhmmmm...... Mine doesn't scan games at startup. Not sure how I managed that.
  4. Isn't there a setting to tell it NOT to rescan for games at startup?
  5. Glad you are feelin' better. :) Use MO2, OR Vortex, do NOT use both. That can create some truly interesting problems. :D
  6. Ah, OK. Can't see the column delineation that well in the screenshot. :) (yeah, need my reading glasses.) It all *looks* right.... Did you start the game once BEFORE installing any mods? (need to generate the ini files, check your hardware, etc, at first startup.) Does MO2 automagically handle enabling mods in the fallout ini files??
  7. Not familiar with MO2, as I have never used it... but, in the right hand section, the "Mod Index" field is empty. Is that correct???
  8. If, when you install scrap everything, there is an option to turn off previs/precombines for the entire commonwealth. That WILL do horrid things to your framerate. If you do NOT select that option, then it only does it for defined settlement areas. I use SE in all of my playthroughs, I am currently level 80something, and have no FPS issues, even in Downtown Boston.
  9. I suspect you would have to remove the 'ownership' flag from those items...... Wonder if you could do up a FO4Edit script that would do it.....
  10. I gave up on MMO's quite some time ago. Even the Free ones.... Too many folks either cheating, or the whole 'pay to win' thing. Nope. Not interested in that level of frustration....
  11. See what's running in the background, and kill off the unnecessary stuff.
  12. Of course they would. They would also be constantly checked to see if the paint was dry. :D
  13. Cheers, appreciate the response, now to go through all my mods again to see what the conflicts are, don't you just love modding a game. Oh yeah. :D I've been tweaking my games since Morrowind. There was a game that you REALLY needed to have a clue in order for things to work right. There weren't any (many) tools available then... and the game was sensitive... Change your load order mid-playthrough, and all sorts of weird and strange things happened. :D I once found myself in Seyda Neen, with 20 Fargoths...... Ouch. :D Lol, Seyda Neen, haven't played Morrowind in years. I have been preoccupied with FO4, but thinking of having a break and playing Oblivion. I played Oblivion for about 45 minutes shortly after it came out.... and realized that there was no point in leveling, as while you got stronger, so did the rest of the world..... Along came FCOM.... which was a major exercise to get installed, and working properly, and it was a whole new game. :D There goes 1000's of hours of my free time. :D

  15. If you are just uploading a gameplay video, I don't see that as being a copyright issue. Wouldn't hurt if you listed your mods with the video though. :D
  16. I followed a link from another thread... which I simply can't remember right now. :D Next time I see it, I'll post up some links.
  17. You only need the files that are required for the mod you are downloading. All the other stuff is only if you want to. So, anything under "mods requiring this file" is optional.
  18. I still play Skyrim LE, as the newer versions change versions far too often, and it is rather difficult to know if any given mod will actually work with the version you have. LE doesn't suffer from that.
  19. You do understand that downloads from Nexus are not 'point to point'.... there are a lot of folks between, and any one of them could be throttling your download.
  20. Do you have the same problem if you start a new game? Anything changed on your machine software-wise?
  21. The i9 13900k is both cheaper, and faster..... :D
  22. I have no problem doing melee in First Person. I much prefer that perspective to 'looking over my shoulder'. I don't see it as 'outdated', its just personal preference. its kind of outdated because unless its VR your movement is extremely robotic. in VR you can look to the sides (e.g looking for other threats) while still thrusting with your weapon in a forward motion (as one example). in third person it's less of an issue fighting multiple opponents, and somewhat more realistic in terms of being able to fight off multiple opponents. Still, not 'outdated'. Is there better tech? Sure. That happens in any event. But, the tech still ain't inexpensive, though it is getting cheaper. I don't care for VR at this point though, as the movement just ain't what I can get used to. When in combat, I want to be able to move as needed, not have to point at some other spot, and 'blink' there. Nope. that simply does not work for me.
  23. Homemaker, Snappy Housekit, Castle in the Sky. And then we have Place Anywhere, that doesn't add anything at all, but, makes building so much better. :D
