The whole idea behind collections was for someone ELSE to do the work of making sure mods play nice together. They are specifically targeted at folks that don't know how to mod, and/or don't have the time to learn. Are there some less than stellar collections out there? Yep. But, there are some less than stellar mods out there too. It's the whole 'caveat emptor' thing again. Read the comments of ANY mod/collection you are considering. Are there any glaring issues? You can bet they will be brought up in the comments. Comments closed? Don't use that mod/collection.

Vortex should see them, but, will mark them as 'not managed'. Shouldn't cause any issues if you wanna install additional mods via Vortex.

Try starting the game directly from the f4se_loader executable. (just double click on it. make sure steam is already running in the background though.) If that works, just make a shortcut to that file on your desktop.

Did you change those mods mid-playthrough? or did you start a new game after updating?

If it is your work, and not just an updated version of someone else's mod, you can upload anytime ya want. Or, if it IS someone elses work, you need their permission to re-upload the updated version.

Have a look at the mods you added for this play through, and see if anything interesting happens at level 35. Problem being, it might be a script, leveled list, or anything else that uses player level to make a decision.

... ... We need to stop and call them for the lies they are telling. As I said Putin has been carrying this message for over 20 years now to Europe and the US. He has played the long game and now, even if he is showing his true colors some won't see it. They believe it is lies made up by the "liberal media" or whatever. Hands have been tied. Will the game start and run with just the base game and DLC's? Which mod are you installing that is causing you trouble? (link to mod please) How are you installing mods?

Do you have outcasts and remnants v 1.2 (or higher) installed? By "won't start", what is the exact problem you are having?

Is this going to be one of those "Great Mysteries" of life, that is never solved? :D Trouble is, there are just way too many possible causes.... main game ini file, ini files for various other mods, or even F4SE plugins, etc. Or maybe windows just being windows. :D

And calling the Creation Engine a different engine to Gamebryo is a bit of a stretch when it's just an iteration of it. Well, I am thinkin' going from 32 bit, to 64 bit code, is a pretty significant change. What you are saying is Windows 11 is that different from windows 3.1, as it is still windows......

Are you serious?! OP is clearly asking as 42 fps is below expectations. 42fps doesn't leave much buffer for those parts of the game that are more taxing on the hardware, meaning potential slideshows. And 60fps is a smoother gameplay experience. Your statement is even more ridiculous considering that, according to your previous posts, you work in a PC hardware shop, so all this should be well known to you.... The game runs fine at 42 FPS, and is emminently playable. Anything above about 30 is decent. And as a PC tech, I don't go looking for problems that don't exist. (and so far as I am concerned, this isn't really a 'problem'.) That said, if iPresentInterval is set to 0 in the Fallout4.ini, then either the Nvidia controls are doing something, or, he has mods/enb's that his machine can't cope with. His video is up to snuff, plenty of RAM, Processor isn't listed though..... Of course, mods/enb's aren't listed either. The fact that his other games play at significantly higher framerates would tend to suggest FO4 should run better, but, it's also a different engine than Skyrim LE, or FONV..... (or FO3 for that matter) SkyrimSE would be a better comparison, but, he also didn't specify which Elder Scrolls games...... Lotta things can cause low framerate, not all of which are obvious.

Where did you download F4SE from? The only "official" source is silverlock.org. (or something similar....) And it should indeed be f4se_loader.exe. Best bet is to grab the right version for your game version, and install it manually. Just drag and drop the extracted files into the game installation folder, where you find Fallout4.exe. Be sure to start the game with the F4SE_loader. I just made a shortcut to it on my desktop. Start steam, (if it doesn't start with windows.) let steam come up fully, then start the game.

What's wrong with 42 FPS?? Not like this is a shooter, and you need the high frame rates..... What hardware are you running on?

I haven't really seen that either though?? My level 85 toon save is around 36meg.... Of course, it's not something I have ever really paid much attention to either. :D

I've been using it for years, and don't have an issue with it.....(AWKCR) Of course, I have a few mods that depend on it as well...... so, it's gotta be there.

try again? Still doesn't wanna load... so, I just downloaded it, and used VLC player... That worked. Yep, seen that before in my games, and I am not using any texture enhancers for water that I am aware of...... I have no clue how to fix it.... I've been dealing with it for some time. I *suspect* it has to do with ini settings for LOD, but, you get random squares that work, and the rest... don't. Weird.

What error are you getting?

Conflict resolution is done with the load order... If you are using Vortex, that's as good as it gets. Most weapon mods shouldn't really care about load order, unless they are dependent on some other mod......
