A very wild guess - have you double-checked your racemenu stuff, all of them, to make sure you have the proper versions for AE 1.6.640? I am also suspicious about FNIS showing the same number of bones for male and female, since 3BBB indicates additional breast bones for females, they may have just moved them around, though. Go to that mod page, and ask how many bones should be there. Also double-check on the silverlock site, and make sure that you have the proper SKSE (2.2.3, I think) for your version of AE.

AFAIK, you can install any browser. I am on W10, fully updated, and I run Firefox, with noScript added. The worst that happens is when windows opens some MS info (or searches from the MS pages) in Edge, even when I have set FF as the default browser. You can ignore the windows nag for 'restore recommended' in the settings landing page.

mod's that make followers tougher/higher HP?
7531Leonidas replied to ARavingLooony's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
NFF will allow you to alter health and magica for followers when in the MCM menu. I have not used it, except to debuff some characters' insane offsets. It may only allow limited adjustments. -
(HELP) need help enabling crash logs
7531Leonidas replied to johanatnexus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Just a guess - double check your requirements for both the Wade In Water, Better Jumping, and True Directional Movement. In addition, you could check for OBody (I don't use this, so I don't know) patches for/issues with any of those mods? -
Remember, holding a weapon slows you down. If you are really overencumbered, try using a bow, and moving while drawing it in sneak mode. That will sometimes allow you to move. I used this all of the time when I play a packrat character (which is almost always). Or, just dump a lot of stuff on Lydia...

Vortex: "Redundant Mods" popup during deployment
7531Leonidas replied to anjenthedog's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
When this happens for me, a lot of times it points out LO errors, and I adjust. Otherwise, I just uninstall the mod before I start playing. I also have not seen this msg w/o deploying. -
Several mod authors do a LOT of jewelry, a few almost exclusively - avebrave is one of the most prolific. Maybe look around, and ask one or two for help. There is also the Mod Requests forum listed two below this one. Just put what you want in the mod, maybe someone will want to help out and make it.

Reintroduction to modding
7531Leonidas replied to usernameunavailable404's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
It wasn't too bad for me to go from 1.5.97 version to the 1.6.353 version, but I haven't gone to the DynDOLOD v 3.0 alpha version yet, I stuck with the 2.98. Just have a plan, install a few at a time, and check your entire LO for conflicts in SSEEdit. I had more problems with follower mods than anything else, as sometimes authors will not describe the install process enough, especially when they use their own internal version numbering. Of course, it doesn't help if you try to mod when you get tired, as I did, and neglected to install a base mod before a cosmetic mod. -
Reintroduction to modding
7531Leonidas replied to usernameunavailable404's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
AFAIK, the major difference is for SKSE-dependent mods. There is a wiki that helps describe which of those mods are compatible with the various 'flavors' of Special Edition/AE. You can find it at ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). I think the biggest changes are in the use of ESP-FE mods that do not count against the 254 .esp limit. Make sure that you use a mod manager and SSEEdit (xEdit), as the hunt for conflicts gets quite tedious even with them in the mix. Vortex and MO2 are the newest managers, and I have seen some users with a forked version of NMM that works with AE versions. If that is what you want, I am sure someone can point the way. The mod source situation is somewhat more fragmented now, many older modders have posted their stuff elsewhere, like Arthmoor on AFKmods, and several on Patreon, but quite often not paywalled. If you have some favorite authors, you will probably have to search for them, after you ask around here a bit. I am not aware of any problems with site terms and these 'wayward' authors. -

NFF on Nexus: ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55653 ) -
I think that SOS is only needed if you plan to use the piercings on male characters. I don't know running without it will bug out the character creation system/racemenu, though. Maybe ask on the mod page...

Leather being added into my inventory constantly
7531Leonidas replied to CoomAir1111111's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
There is a gifting option from companions in NFF, and leather is one of the lower level gifts. Do you have it configured properly? -
Just happened to re-discover this one today, Ayleid Piercings ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/76204 ) - NSFW. It supposedly has both Welkynd and Varla amulets in the mix. It may have what you need. I haven't used (or d/l) it, so I don't know.

More weirdness on the Skyrim SE site - was signed in, used the drop down to sign out, dialog said I was signed out. Closed down my browser, then came back later and tried to sign in. Site said that I was already signed in. This has happened several times today, over varying time spans between sessions.

CTD when loading a savegame (.640)
7531Leonidas replied to EternalFlame892's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Just checking - are you using the script-free version of TK Dodge? If not, that could be your problem right there. -
Use the console to help identify the mod: Find an object that definitely belongs to the mod (like the horse), center it in the screen and open the console, click on the object. The hexadecimal number that shows is that object's refID. The first three digits will match the location of the mod in your load order (is hexadecimal form), as long as it is a standard mod. For an ESPFE mod, I think it is FExxx that shows the mod order number. More Informative Console is a mod that will give you that information more or less directly when you first click on the object, and tell you which mod last modified the object as well.

bunch of mods not working and I think the problem is skyUI
7531Leonidas replied to Xxgxxaxx's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Just to help you check on your mod versions, there is a wiki page that shows compatibility information for SKSE, the various SE/AE versions, and SKSE-dependent mods: ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) -
If you use the mod More Informative Console ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19250 ), you can walk up to the tiles, open the console, and click on the texture itself. The console will now show you the last mod that changed the tile. You can get the refID from the plain console, and the prefix of the tile will tell you which mod in your mod order (in hexadecimal notation) that tile belongs to.

I also have had some files not showing that I had already downloaded them, or that an update was available. Reloading the page usually worked to correct this, sometimes it took more than one reload, or going to a different tab (I default to Updated, but changing to the New Today tab and back cleared the problem).

From past experience with v 2.xx version of DynDOLOD, you need to carefully read the included guide(s) in the package, then try the STEP guide.

Did you check the skyrim.ini and the skyrimprefs.ini in your documents folder, to make sure they had the proper settings?

What happened to Skyrim crashing on everything
7531Leonidas replied to a topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I do not know if you can utilize SKSE with the Xbone, but there is a site that shows which SKSE mods are compatible with which versions of Skyrim SE/AE: ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) -
[SSE] Full bookshelves look like crap (Still in AE 640)

You are quite welcome, I was afraid that I might insult you with the porting suggestion, but I often forget to do the basic stuff, especially when dealing with Skyrim LE. -
[SSE] Uncapped Voice of the Emperor
7531Leonidas replied to polearbair's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I do not know about the other follower frameworks, but Nether's Follower Framework has commands for followers, one of which is to stop fighting, and another to retreat. I have the stop fighting hotkeyed to "-" (as in chill out), and the retreat is keyed to " \ " (like Monty Python's Run Away!). -
