Same limits as the Fallout games, it's the same game engine. : But that is just ACTIVE .esp, and .esm files, SKSE, and it's plugins don't count toward that total. Merging similar mods can save you a few slots. Wrye Bash, or, I think... TESEdit can do that trick.

The world is full of con-men. Some MUCH better than others...... I would mention a few, but, religion is a banned topic...... Of course I *think* we can mention L. Ron Hubbard, and the folks that plotted with him to come up with Scientology.... not like it's a 'real' religion...... More like a cult, and it's members put up with some TRULY weird stuff/treatment...... Ross Perot should never have dropped out of the presidential race way back when. Even then, folks were pretty fed up with the 'status quo' crop of politicians. Had he stuck with it, he would have had a real chance of winning.

At this point, I don't see the dems doing anything because they see Trump as 'criminal', they want to impeach him, just so they can say they did. They have had their witch hunts going for so long, and so far, haven't really come up with anything damning enough to actually act on, so, they keep digging, keep blowing the horns of impeachment, etc. Given what the various dem candidates are currently running on, and some of the positions they are now calling 'the right thing to do', I fully expect to see the republicans retake the house, and maintain their control of the rest of the government....... You can only peddle idiocy for so long, before folks figure out that it is indeed idiocy.

Just as an example say it was a random person just walked up and shot the woman in the stomach , killing the baby that was wanted , should the perpetrator be charged for murder or not. Or better yet its just a guy who doesn't want to be stuck raising the baby , so assaults the woman ,beating her stomach. So for prosecution charges is that a baby that died or is it just a blob of cells. I'm just saying it this way cause I'm not sure what angle your taking on it. Your scenarios don't work because in reality it is the pregnant woman who is being charged, not the shooter. The slippery slope I see would go something like this: Pregnant woman rides bicycle, pregnant woman falls off bicycle and miscarries, pregnant woman charged with manslaughter due to her reckless endangerment of baby/fetus. Sounds crazy, like it would never happen, and yet if you follow the logic in the shooting charges then the bike rider being charged with manslaughter is not so farfetched. Actually, I could see that happening..... Vehicular Manslaughter, or something equally as ridiculous..... I could also see folks being prosecuted for drinking while pregnant...... or a host of other crimes related to what folks ingest/introduce to their bodies in various other ways, while pregnant. None of which are considered 'good' for a developing fetus. How about the state suing mom for giving birth to a baby that suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome? Or born addicted to some drug or other? Yeah, that could be interesting......

Anything that can be bought today will likely be outdated by the time TES 6 releases(unless it's going to be a rush job with half the development length compared to Skyrim/Fallout 4). I expect it around 2024 to 2026, probably 2024 is what is the planned release year since it'll be The Elder Scrolls' 30th anniversary but wouldn't be surprising if they ended up needing longer if they're going to try to do a proper TES. I would say 2026 is the probable cutoff since by then it'll be at the end of the next generation or maybe 2027 if PS5 isn't going to release till 2021 rather than next year but that seems unlikely as it already seems like the current gen is wrapping up soon and rumors point to 2020. About 6 years seems to be the norm for console generations, with the PS3/Xbox 360 being an exception. 7 years ago the GTX 600 series were released, today the entry level GTX 1650 beats the high end GTX 680 from back then so I wouldn't be too surprised if the entry level card in 2026 beats the best stuff from today. People say Moore's Law is dead but I attribute that mainly to lack of competition and it seems like Intel is going to try to seriously compete with their GPUs. High end specs from today likely will still play TES 6 but probably at low settings and similarly to current low end specs, being a possible limiting factor as to how many mods/which mods can be installed without too much performance loss or adding to instability. I wonder if that might be a sign that Creation Club isn't selling spectacularly? I am still playing TES/FO games on my machine that I built more than 8 years ago. (video, and ram upgrades though......) Given that Beth doesn't seem to do dramatic changes to their game engine, I would suspect that I will be able to run TESVI fairly well, maybe not at ultra, but, certainly "high" quality. Not that I really care about how 'pretty' it is in any event.... I am in it for the game-play. :D

Did you have texture mods? No way to 'recover' your original installation. Gonna have to rebuild it from scratch.

Yeah, I saw that article. Basically, the pregnant lady started the fight, and escalated it. I don't know if she had a weapon as well, but, the gal that shot her went before a grand jury, and no charges were filed. (even though she shot the other gal 5 times, in the abdomen......) So I am guessing it was ruled 'self-defense'..... I think what this boils down to is punishing someone for being stupid. Not that being stupid is actually illegal........

He handed off responsibility for his mods to another user here on NEXUS, try contacting THAT person, and see what they have to say.

If the game, and it's various utilities, and mods... are installed on the SSD, then yes, you will see MUCH faster load times. (and possibly less stutter, and other problems associated with loading from the HDD.) Adding more RAM is never really a bad idea, but, depending on which O/S you are running, you probably won't see much in the way of stability/performance improvement.

Ooooo. Intriguing. :) Valid point. Question becomes, is gravity a 'wave'? How fast does it travel? And if space is 'rebounding' from that sudden lack of gravity well, would it be like something dropped into a pool of water? And would the 'ripple' from it returning to a flat plane have space curving the 'other' way for a bit, essentially driving the earth away? We could have some real fun with that. :D

You might be the first person I've seen consider going with a Kaby Lake-X CPU. Those CPU's require the more expensive X299 motherboard which would just be nerfed with a 7640X in it. What you really want for a CPU in these games is single threaded performance, something the i7's tend to beat the i5's in. That said, my suggestion would be to go with an i7-8700K. The lower price of a Z370/Z390 chipset motherboard should offset the overall price. I agree with this assessment. :)

I suspect if the sun simply ceased to exist, so would it's gravity well, and the earth would immediately start heading off on a straight-line trajectory. That wouldn't bode well for the human race though, as our atmosphere would solidify in relatively short order as well. :D

I'm certainly not well versed in this. But the fact that light cannot escape a black hole , and get bent around things. Suggests the speed of light is not constant ... no ??? It's still going the same speed, just its course is being altered. :)

I know the Skyrim CK came out in February of 2012, but didn't they make us wait almost a year for the Fallout 4 CK? I have a hard time remember what I had for lunch yesterday, or even if I HAD lunch.... so, that's entirely possible. :D

You will see a MAJOR performance improvement across the board with the desktop, as compared to the laptop. 3 generation newer CPU, Dramatically more powerful vid card.... Likely a bunch more video ram as well. Not sure about 4K textures, but, as for the rest? Yep. No problem. :D

Depends on your vid card. How much VRAM ya got? The base game recommends 2 gig......

I can't count the number of times I have heard folks talking about the 'death of PC gaming', yet, here we are, and PC gaming is still going strong. With each new generation of games, and new technologies, the predictions come out. "This will be the end!"........ But, so far, it hasn't been. Nor do I expect this time to kill it off either. Still to large of a market to simply ignore it. The morrowind CK came on the game disk. The Oblivion CK came out very shortly after the game did, Skyrim and FO4, their kits came out a couple months later. The time between game release, and ck release has been extending, and I don't really expect that to change, but, I am pretty certain that beth WILL release the CK for the next round of games as well. Its what keeps their games popular for years after release. Folks are still playing/modding morrowind..... pushing 20 years later..... They would be stupid to NOT release it. Besides, where would folks come up with a 'portfolio' to apply to CC without the CK?? Though I do notice that no one seems to claim any of the work put out on CC...... I don't recall reading even a "Yeah, I worked on that." anywhere, about any of it.... NDA?

Why not Skyrim? Not like beth went overboard with 'adult' content...... Some modders most certainly did...... but, they did the same for morrowind as well.

Should be fine. Just stay away from texture mods, and such. :) May also want to consider getting Vortex, or Nexus mod manager. Makes installing mods a LOT easier. :D
