  1. Don't save when you are on horseback. Get off, save, get back on, ride away. :)
  2. Go to your skyrim install directory, and launch SKSE_loader directly, see if the game runs decent.
  3. I think your only choice is to reload your save, until it doesn't happen, or, go back to an earlier save.
  4. Aren't there some ini settings for third-person camera???? Poke thru the Oblivion.ini, and see..... I *think* they are in there, but, if they are being overridden by a mod, that's gonna be more fun to find.
  5. Which flavor of Skyrim? SE, or Legendary Edition?? (old or new.....) Doesn't Skyrim natively support the xbox controller? May wanna post this in skyrim troubleshooting forum......
  6. Physics issues..... Those are usually related to frame rate. Can you convince your machine to display frame rate, see what the numbers look like?
  7. I think that just lists required mods that are actually ON Nexus........ I think..... :D
  8. What other mods are you running??
  9. Several studies want to blame it on immigration (mostly on illegals), an expanding workforce, poverty, the 'education gap', and prison populations....... And I can probably find a study that blames it on solar flares, one that blames too much seafood in the diet, and another that blames it on the slaughter of African elephants. But none of these were political motivators back in 1959. Neither were "immigration (mostly on illegals), an expanding workforce, poverty, the 'education gap', and prison populations". These "studies" that support political minorities but lack truly viable facts are all just so many horse apples. They attribute causality to coincidence and serendipity. You could print them all and have an unlimited supply of paper which is useful only in the head to wipe your ... In all reality, you are correct. I tried to point that out in another thread, (that studies were exactly that, studies, and the bias of the folks doing the study plays a LARGE role in the 'results'.....) and got raked over the coals for it. :) From what I am seeing though, literacy rates are right around 99%.... which is darn good for a country of 350 some odd millions..... Now, are our scores in the various disciplines on par with the rest of the world? Nope. We lag behind in math and science, fairly significantly. Why is that the case? I blame it on our government meddling in the education system, attempting to 'improve' it, but, what they actually end up doing is simply adding more layers of administration, that does absolutely nothing for education.
  10. There are a couple modders on the Bethesda forums that will do requests. You MUST have permission from the original author FIRST though.
  11. Several studies want to blame it on immigration (mostly on illegals), an expanding workforce, poverty, the 'education gap', and prison populations.......
  12. Application controlled?
  13. Oh crap... I didn't even think of that. They can technically say "We support modding", but only in a way that benefits them. Now I'm worried. You said it better than me but I do agree with fftfan ..... as an Army veteran than I am, I learned to think as my enemy so I could anticipate his/her next move. If I was Bethesda, I will definitely "support modding" but only in the way that will benefit my own goals and business. The CC was introduced for several purposes and I do believe it will play a role about next TESVI modding permissions. They could come up with something like : " if you want to mod it, do it, but your mod MUST be posted only in our website, we will pay you a fee but we will own it, so whoever would like to use that mod, would have to pay a fee to become a member of the CC and probably even be charged for the mod. " Not necessarily exactly as I think but again, I will be very surprise if they allow free modding in the way we have it now and I will recognize my mistake publicly by thinking otherwise and at the same time, I will be very happy. Sounds very bad but I do not think that we will have free modding as we had with Skyrim and Fallout so I still playing those games but I am moving slowly away from them ( just in case ) and playing others games out there that do not require modding but they are even better than Beth games. Beth would be stupid to eliminate free modding. Mods are what contribute the most to the longevity of their games. Folks still buy Morrowind...... and Oblivion...... (I think Daggerfall, and the older games are free these days.) Not to mention the hue and cry from the torch and pitchfork crowd would be heard far and wide...... It doesn't really cost them much, if anything.... to release the CS into the wild..... But, it sure buys them a lot of good will from their fans.....
  14. Have you had the convo with Ellie about 'you should be a detective too', or some such?
  15. At current exchange rates, looks to be right about 65 bucks american. And yes indeed, do they accept payments from americans. :D
  16. Chinese website....... even some recent information about it has disappeared....... given the places that I have seen references to it though.... my guess is, a porn hosting site.
  17. Agreed on both points. Although I will say I've never personally seen the first one happen with the exception of people needing to communicate sensitive information without being overheard. Hang out with teenagers..... or folks just out of their teens. :) (I have grandkids.....) Though I have seen 'adults' doing it as well.
  18. So long as beth is still using their version of the gamebryo (creation) engine, they will release the editor. It's in their best interest. Do folks participating in CC, actually get a 'better' version of the CS? Or, do they use the same one the rest of us get??
  19. When folks would rather text the person sitting next to them, as opposed to turning and speaking to them, there is a problem. Granted, when used properly, electronic communication makes our lives better. For certain values thereof...... but, there IS such a thing as taking it too far.
  20. That's just odd...... Try renaming your textures folder to something else. That will prevent them from loading. See if anything changes. (aside from a bunch of purple stuff in-game....)
  21. Are your games (steam folder) installed in the Program files directory? If so, that's likely a large part of your problem.
