  1. I wouldn't pin any of Millenia's mods for causing the crashes, unless your PC can't handle the HQ models but I doubt that. Try looking into it with FNVedit and see if there is a conflict. Post your LO if you want also.
  2. More than likely you have conflicting mods and you are getting crashes cos of it. Your performance/PC settings may not be optimal either. If you keep getting persistent crashes in a particular area or with modded content than you may want to look into you load order further.
  3. Maybe because your skills are back to level 1. If you've removed all your mods and it's the same than it's vanilla stats still.
  4. It comes up with a google search last time I checked...
  5. Yeah it'll run it, being a laptop you might get a slight hit to fps with NMC's large but you should fine.
  6. They've been corrupted by the sound of things. Or possibly missing a master file that is really needed in that save, if you removed any mods. If it is corruption, than it's terminal i'm afraid. You can prevent such problems by using CASM, the save manager: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36730 Use it's hotkey for quicksaving instead of the normal F5 quicksave. By default CASM's quicksave key is F4, and if you hold it down it's menu will appear. I know this is probably not the news you wanted to hear, but I hope this advice helps you in future, which it should :)

  9. Takes a lot of hard work . Merged patches, manual patches, constant checking for errors in FNVedit, and all followed up by a good knowledge of your mods. 10. Have a look in FNVedit at the cell, see where it has been changed.
  11. Likely you've modded it and you have a missing master file, broken HUD or improper Archive Invalidation settings. Those are the main culprits.
  12. So you can only launch the game through Steam you say? I'd be looking for where Steam think your directory is and going from there. You say you just changed the directory for it, did you uninstall it first before reinstalling to a new directory, or did you somehow move it to the new directory?
  13. Open FalloutNVLAuncher.exe (yes the Launcher) just once without running the game from it, just simply open and close it, your NV registry keys will be restored and FNVedit will open again. Repeat if you experience this again.
  14. You have to set the game to load Head EGT files, in Fallout.ini and Falloutprefs.ini you should change the following setting: bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 By default this is 0 change it to 1. Problem solved :) EDIT: You say you've tried this, did you try it in both INI files? Cos this is the fix to the problem I can guarantee you this much, unless you somehow changed all the textures for faces and/or FaceGen data in a mod.
  15. I hope they can push Bethesda in to getting the rights to a another title, I'd like to see them make a better game. I imagine Bethesda probably won't be in any hurry to do this, after all with Fallout 4 patented they wouldn't be looking to have another title in the franchise compete with their own title, and I imagine everyone would be sitting on Obsidians side of the fence hahaha. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
  16. That means you have a broken item in which ever category you are looking in. You would have to look in FNVedit to find out which, at least if you know the category you know where to look. May be more than 1 broken item.
  17. Ah that'll do it :). Glad you were able to resolve your issue.
  18. I'd be expecting a lot of weird things to happen with that LO, see here for a good reference LO to base your own off: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/896684-the-ultimate-load-order-stable-and-perfect/&do=findComment&comment=7183334 Check page 2 or 3 for the update to it.
  19. I probably should of mentioned to you now that you changed your LO around so that the DLCs are in order you need to wait for 4 days in game in order to reset everything that was previously out of order. Also I must say there is no guarantee your save game will be in perfect order since you did have it out of order, it may not be that detrimental to it but it is worth mentioning. BTW have you added any more mods recently.
  20. Could be any number of things from DLCs being in the wrong order to a bad load order or just generally unpatched conflicts with mods, really you'd have to look in FNVedit to find out what your mods are doing. And if you haven't already create a merged patch. Don't be surprised if you end up finding the fix in FNVedit etc and you go into game and it crashes, realistically you need to apply the fix then go into your game and wait 4 days to reset everything because a save can still be affected, and sometimes they are terminally affected and will crash more often then if you started a new game with fixes implemented.
  21. It's not in the most obvious place that's for sure, especially if you're not accustom to Wrye from previous Beth games. Well now y'all know anyway :)
  22. Glad your issue is resolved :). Most likely that file was deliberately modified to exclude that part of the sound, the modder's intentions were more than likely to compensate for the problem with animations I mentioned earlier.
  23. I get what you mean, no wind up sounds. If you just pulled that sound out of the BSA then i'd say this is some weird s*** but if you just got that outta your data/sounds folder then it's modded to not have the wind up sounds. You can check this in FNVedit, under the weapon's data look for the firing sound and see if it has been changed in a mod. It may also be a hardware related/FPS related issue, if your running more than 60fps then it might be going so quick it "skips" the sounds, or if too low fps the same thing. It may not be the case but just to cover everything it's worth mentioning. Or it could be a hardware/audio setting issue which is producing a slight delay, again giving the effect that it is skipping the sound of the winding up of the weapon. It's ahrd to say without actually seeing the game in front of me but those are some things you can look at. If you really get stuck after this, try to post a quick video for further analysis.
