skydragonsky
Hah.. I'll believe in those things when I see them. I appreciate the efforts and all, but we still haven't even gotten a Morrowind overhaul.... after more than a decade. Not that I'm complaining though. I'm happy with just a Code Patch and XGE. And I'm happy with Skyrim for the most part. I'm actually less happy with Oblivion, simply because of design issues. It looks crappier than even Morrowind, just because of the putty faces. You can play through Morrowind already, only shadows are not implemented yet. Don't confuse Tamriel Rebuild/ Skywind with OpenMW, it is completely different and open sourced, so everybody can see the progress weekly. In fact, it is in a state where you can play Morrowind multiplayer already, there a videos on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKhfdOxkafo Edited September 2, 2017 by skydragonsky

Ethreon
Whatever rebuilt is irrelevant to SKSE and mods requiring SKSE.
KainThePheonix
@kthompsen - Incorrect. OpenMW is being developed as we speak. Check the Youtube video by Ethreon. ANYONE can soon start modding the game when it is ready. With new coding it will be a pleasure to play Morrowind with a proper update.
KainThePheonix
@gambeat - The original topic was closed because of people like waterlogic and others just not letting it go - "Why can't they hurry faster?" routine. If there were not 60+ pages of complaining and people complaining about people complaining it may not have had any issues and for all we know it may have been released already. But page after page of reading people and their silly entitled attitude towards a mod and modding in general is enough to kill the interest in the game for ANYONE.I agree with Arthmoor somewhat, he is right SKSE is a crutch and the menus can go back and be added in via books or the Powers tab instead. It would be too easy to simply read the updates - it really went too far when one user said and I quote "They stabbed us in the back" referring to the SKSE - 64 programmer(s) - leave serious open ended discussions for the forums, leave the entitled whining (for those that whine) in a chat room. Eh, it really depends on the mod. You can't do this with RaceMenu. Other mods, like Perks UI, really need the MCM and wouldn't work out with a book or power spell. Even something like Campfire, which I use in SSE, would be better with MCM because all of the menu options would be visible on a single tab and I wouldn't have to go through nested options using a power. The MCM might not be absolutely required for some mods, and some mods might be able to get around them, but menu presentation matters for user experience as well, and the MCM made things easy to read and use.
