I can't fix anymore than I have :(
7531Leonidas replied to Rikuwoblivion's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
FYI - do not forget the SKSE logs in your My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE folder, and in the steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/SKSE folders. Info about which mods are not starting properly might be found there. (Only a few .log files in the second location.) -
Does Anyone know how to Make the Game Work with 1.6.640 Again?
7531Leonidas replied to Daelyn's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
There is this site on the Nexus, that is a clearinghouse for SKSE-based mod compatibilities ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). There have been several additions to the 1.6.1130 column in the last week or so. -
A Fix for All Plugins Disabling after 1.6.1130
7531Leonidas replied to Pickysaurus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
From the BEES (Backported Extended ESL Support) page - Do not install this mod if you're using game version 1.6.1130 or later. It's redundant. @Ardolon - did you go to the SKSE logs in your My Games folder (secondarily also .../steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/SKSE/plugins) after the shutdown to see if you can identify which SKSE mods are breaking? -

Using BEES has not harmed my save games in 1.6.640, as far as I can tell. I have been playing with it installed since 14 Dc. -
For help, especially in the aftermath of Bethesda revamping the game to v. 1.6.1130, you need to cite information from your own installation: 1. the version of Skyrim you are using 2. which mod manager you are using, if any 3. your mod list, including if any of your mods are SKSE-based 4. the Load Order (LO) of your mods.

There is also a set of steps posted on the SkyUI mod page to get the game running under 1.6.1130 (albeit with bad SKSE mods removed). Take a look there. -

FYI - the Beth LO routines and LOOT or any other LO tool are almost guaranteed to conflict with each other. Use one, and not both. I had troubles in the past when I used the Vortex LOOT and then checked with a standalone LOOT installation. Conflict resolution between mods is highly dependent on LO. Once again, only use one LO tool. -
If this is Skyrim, I think I saw a mod that removes those rocks, once upon a time. Don't remember the name, sorry.

The Curse of Bleakwind Basin (floating objects)
7531Leonidas replied to Arlodon's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I believe that the SkyJunk Island is created when there are objects that are not properly set up in any mod, resulting in ?copies?/?displacements? to 0.0.0. I don't know the exact criteria, just ~tcl and disable the parts you can see. I have used More Informative Console in the past, and usually it is only one or two mods that have items here, sometimes from the base game. -

@Ardolon - I 'think' that Backported Extended ESL Support ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ) allows for one to use the newest CK with older versions of Skyrim SE. Check it out. The Engine Fixes mod needs a couple of edits to its config file to run under 1.6.1130, I have seen the info posted in a couple of instances here. -
Rather than removing SE (in my experience, it has been much more stable than LE ever was, especially with a large number of mods), you could take a look at these mods - Anniversary Edition Content Picker ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58890 ), and Disable Free Creation Club Contents ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80697 ). There is also an Unofficial Creation Club patch available, but the newest version of SE/AE (1.6.1130) is needed.

Newest Skyrim Update Has Completely Broken My Game
7531Leonidas replied to AndrewFaulkner's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Daelyn - Re: 1.6.640 - my game never got "upgraded", so I haven't needed a downgrader - I just have been very careful about installing updated files for my mods. If you are running SKSE-based stuff, I suggest that you check the logs for SKSE in your My Games folder and the logs found in the Data folder of your game installation. Those logs should be showing you what is not booting properly. A second problem, where the expanded header information introduced in the CK for 1.6.1130 can cause crashes for lower versions running mods built with the kit, is supposed to be cured by this mod - Backported Extended ESL Support ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ). Which, if I am correct, also expands the ESP-FE limit to twice the original. -
CTD but I don't know what the problem is
7531Leonidas replied to 1ntr1ns1c's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
If you don't have a crash logger, install one. I assume that you are using SKSE64 reliant mods, as this is a common CTD result for SKSE problems, so check the various logs produced by SKSE, both in your Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE folder, AND there is an SKSE folder somewhere in your game data folder (...\Data\SKSE\plugins) that has a few logs as well. -

Go to (and join, so you can post) the Skyrim SE group on the game forums ( https://forums.nexusmods.com/forum/8877-skyrim-se/ ), look around there, several have posted and solved problems with the update and SkyUI. Most of the mods that are SKSE64 based are not updated yet, you can try the Nexus modding.wiki page that tracks updates at ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). There are also a couple of 'downgrader' mods available to help you restore your game to whatever version was working before the update. I don't know how easy/difficult/involved the processes are, however. I have managed to stay on 1.6.640 with my setup, so far. -
Have you used one of the crash logger mods ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818 ) is the one I use, there is another titled 'Trainwreck'. Use one along with an interpreter ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/89860 ). However, the mov rax classification has often been some sort of animation/body physics problem. For me, they usually occur in a flurry of similar errors.

A Fix for All Plugins Disabling after 1.6.1130
7531Leonidas replied to Pickysaurus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
The (Modded) notation results from Beth neglecting to tie in Steam as it had previously, so the mods that enable achievements no longer work. Last word I saw was that another update might by Beth might take care of that. And yes, ppl are getting SKSE64 to run, but ALL of the SKSE-based mods you want to run must match, as well as the Address Library for them. Any that do not match, you have to remove, which is why I am still on 1.6.640. -
I don't know why files would be missing from the d/l, you will have to wait for someone else w/more experience to help. I suggest going to one of the 'downgrader' mod pages, and ask around there. Maybe they could shed some light on the problem you seem to be having w/the depot versions.

Dawnstar Museum Missing Display Cases and Exit
7531Leonidas replied to Fenrirkyramud's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
First, have you checked the pages for the above mods? They might have the problem listed there. Next, have you verified your game files? If you have a 'downgraded' version, before 1.6.1130, this could cause problems, and might have to employ one of the mods that downgrade your SE/AE to an earlier version. You can try the mod More Informative Console. Once installed, you can open the console and click on any object/item/NPC to see its information, including which mod last modified it. This mod is an SKSE-based mod, but has versions that work with the various Skyrim SE/AE versions. -

BTW, there is a post on making SkyUI work with 1.6.1130 at the SkyUI mod page here on the Nexus. I sent the author (Wolfpack49) a kudos. -
Try using More Informative Console, it just updated. Click on some of the areas in and around the hole, and see what it tells you about the last mod to affect the area. Also, if you are familiar at all with SSEEdit, you could try loading your entire LO, right-clicking on any mod once they are loaded, and use the "filter to show conflicts". Then open the game masters to see what has overwritten the Boethia shrine. This will probably be tedious. Sorry for missing the fact that you verified your files. Things run together a bit after I have scanned a few topics...

I am not sure, but I think this makes them a little bit smaller ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21075 ). I am pretty sure that the author also has an AIO version of all of the modded creatures.

7531Leonidas replied to Pickysaurus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
FYI - I am spamming this link to SKSE compatibility listings again ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). There are a lot of plugins that are not updated yet, and with SkyUI inoperable, any mod with an MCM will not work well, or at all. I 'think' that many mods will not be updated until after Beth puts out the next version of SE/AE, because of so much work that must be done, especially by third parties trying to get the older mods to work.
